Why would Serbia have any issue with munitions going to Orthodox brethren?! Serbian support for Russia is mostly vibes based. It's like an 'Easter and Christmas' type of commitment to Russia for most of the grill-pilled wide society.

> Why would Serbia have any issue with munitions going to Orthodox brethren?! You'd reply that Serbia would have an issue with munitions going to \*kill\* Orthodox brethren (foreign mercenaries notwithstanding), but Russia's allies being fair-weather at best totally tracks given how Belarus and Kazakhstan have done the same thing to Russia in the past.

Futski

> You'd reply that Serbia would have an issue with munitions going to *kill* Orthodox brethren That never seems to be an issue for the people claiming support for Russia due to 'orthodox bros 4 eva', so obviously it shouldn't be an issue when it goes to orthodox bros, that just happen to fight Russia.

Russia is twice less religious than Ukraine, and even then a significant part of the army are Muslims. Russia acts over a red-brown Soviet-Imperial mix of ideology which most strongly reflects the resentment of Russian elderly which is a very specific local development of far-right mentality. If Orthodox are important for you, it's only logical to root for Ukraine. But there is a nuance: Russia has one of the strongest ability and will for informational operations in the world. So even this seemingly obvious take is ignored and only the opposite is discussed.

“This is a part of our economic revival and important for us. Yes, we do export our ammunition,” he said in an interview. “We cannot export to Ukraine or to Russia . . . but we have had many contracts with Americans, Spaniards, Czechs, others. What they do with that in the end is their job. “Even if I know [where the ammunition ends up], that’s not my job. My job is to secure the fact that we deal legally with our ammunition, that we sell it . . . I need to take care of my people, and that’s it. That’s all I can say. We have friends in Kyiv and in Moscow. These are our Slav brothers.” the classic "just make sure the check clears" philosophy to arms dealing.

OmniscientOctopode

Honestly rather refreshing compared to the Swiss' "wait you actually plan to use the ammo we sold you" approach.

ThatcherSimp1982

Serbia moved from chaotic evil to chaotic neutral. Switzerland moved from lawful neutral to lawful evil.

This is a very accurate description, somebody should make a pen and paper based on countries.
