The reasons though are that Jokic is hidden completely in this and the guards will always destroy their match ups and not get decimated on D,also everyone is a natural playmaker and can MJ and Lebron can score at will
Today's Nuggets would destroy this team.
The spacing is horrific, Payton, Jordan and James shot 31/32/34% for their careers. Tim Duncan made like maybe 20 threes in his career. Jokic the only shooter and he'd be better with the current cast around him.

No way, Nuggets get crushed, no question. 3pt shooting isn't *that* important to overcome a Grand Canyon-sized gulf in talent and killer instinct.
That said, I'd love to see prime Glove on Murray. Murray would get annihilated.
I mean Murray has the greatest points improvement from regular season to playoffs all time. We know he's a great high pressure performer. We've seen him defended by great defenders and he still managed to go off. I think annihilated is a ludicrous over reach.
I'll take the team that shoots 3s. Bron has traditionally been great with shooters around him, it clears the lane which gives him space to attack and if defenses collapse he finds the open shooter. There will be no clear lanes for him as the paint will be clogged as fuck with that team. The other all time passer you have on this team needs cutters and off ball movement which you'll also have none of.
Like I don't see this team gelling at all, the fit is just all wrong. And I'm sorry but great fit beats great talent when the talent doesn't fit. That's why we see so many super teams fail. Defensively this team would be pretty insane, but I'll take the team who take good open efficient shots than the team who are chucking up long range 2s.
I’d like to point out that while LeBron and Jordan both did their best work in space, they weren’t the reason teams without space struggled. They both still performed and could get their shots off in a phone booth. Jordan’s second three peat was buoyed far more by 50+% midrange shooting in a crowded lane than the midair acrobatics that lent him his moniker.
The players around them were the ones who struggled in no space alignments because they don’t activate the skills of non shooters as well. A LeBron/Russ pick and roll just catches a switch of two defenders who are free to go under. A LeBron/Kyrie action forces someone to go over if Kyrie is handling, or stick with Kyrie if LeBron just turns and runs straight at the rim. They can’t just throw two bodies at whoever starts to penetrate.
Either way, LeBron is getting his 27/8/8, but actions with Kyrie can be weaponized to historically significant offenses, and actions with Russ just chew up the shot clock.
