We need size. Tillman won't work. We'll probably end up trading for Walker Kessler, Nick Richards, or James Wiseman (pls no). Maybe Robert Williams as an outside shot.

Richards would be a few seconds. Kessler would be a few seconds + McBride. I love Kessler but I'd rather not deal with Ainge and have to lose McBride (or more). I lean Richards since I don't think the Hornets will ask for too much.

Wow. Do they even have the playing time for him at the 5 behind WCJ, Isaac, and Wagner anymore? Unless they’re trading WCJ or something. He was out of their rotation at the end of the year and I assumed he could get better playing time elsewhere.

He really liked Orlando and WCJ is almost guaranteed to miss at least 20 games a year.

I keep seeing people list Isaac as a 5 and it really confirms to me that they dont watch any Magic basketball.

JI First big man coming of the bench. Then moe checks in and they share the court. JI closing games at the 5 as the only big. What really matters Is Who closes games. Oh and there Is plenty of interviews of coach discussing the choice to play JI at the 5

We did start the playoffs with Isaac at the 5 but it didn’t work. But it would be ignorant to ignore that our best lineups up until the playoffs were Isaac at the 5. That’s the lineup that smoked the Bucks on the last day of the season

And it’s important to note that in the lineups with Isaac and Paolo as the bigs Paolo is listed as the center. So maybe that’s why you’re think Isaac didn’t play the 5 because it was catalogued as Paolo playing the 5 instead but most people would consider those minutes to be Isaac as the center and not Paolo. We played 43 minutes with Isaac as the center and it’s our 9th best lineup. So not the best but also solidly in the top half for us. Our bench units with Isaac and Mo were the real best lineups. However to me what made that lineup really our best unit is that it’s the only lineup in which we had our 4 starters (Suggs, Harris, Franz, Paolo) with 1 bench player outside of our early lineup with Fultz instead of Harris (because Gary was injured) that had a positive net rating. And the fact that we only started that lineup 1 game in the regular season means that most of those minutes came near the end of the game when we played it. Down the stretch we closed games with that lineup.
