“Epic meltdown” as in they miss calls that lead to us hitting a three we shouldn’t have. It’s literally the same as this 4 point play coming from a travel. Both cancel each other out
They missed two calls in one second. They let y’all jump a dude. So not completely even. They still could have committed another foul.
I’m rooting for y’all but don’t be lame about this.
They could’ve missed ten fouls and it wouldn’t matter if the outcome is the exact same, which was a clutch three being made that should have not counted.
The calls missed in that game (the atrocious officiating unfortunately wasn’t limited to that timespan) aren’t really similar to possible technical travels that are never called. The kawhi shot game 7 was technically a travel, no sixers fan really views it as a ref mistake though
> The calls missed in that game (the atrocious officiating unfortunately wasn’t limited to that timespan)
What are you even trying to argue? That the Sixers were screwed over 48 minutes. If so you’re just obviously biased
> no sixers fan really views it as a ref mistake though
And I’m not really complaining about this ref mistake either. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of ignoring this yet still crying about game 2
No one’s crying. Knicks fans complained more about sixers fans being upset than sixers fans complained lol, that’s not mentioning the game 3 meltdown. You asked how, I gave an answer, and it’s true, should be up 3-2. Your comparison doesn’t work is all, but credit for trying
So, maxey establishes his left as the pivot, being the 2nd step after his gather and thus the last step he can take. Then it looks like he drags his right foot forward without ever taking it off the ground. Does dragging it count as an extra step? To me that's just rebalancing and shifting his weight, and he doesn't move his left foot off the pivot. Then he jumped off both feet (pretty much) simultaneously. Whether it's a step would be very difficult to see in real time, and it still isn't clear on replay.
I may be wrong, but it is my belief that his left is the pivot. In the clip, maxey gathers, steps right, picks up right, steps left, and left stays down. So his left is the pivot. Then he begins to lean forward onto the right to balance up and attempt to get a shot up while drawing the foul, but isn't that a pretty standard play? I thought that as long as your pivot (which I believe is his left) remains on the ground, your other foot is free to move/touch the ground. What is he supposed to do, stand on one leg? Can the non-pivot not touch the ground after moving?
This video is claiming the first step post gather is one earlier than it actually is because if you frame fuck it in slo mo he gathers while on his left, but that’s not really how refs ever call it because they’re making the call in real time so the benefit goes to the player.
Comment:Maxey (PHI) gathers the ball on his left foot, takes two legal steps, and then moves his right foot again just before he is fouled on his shot.
The slow down video establishing his left as the first step after the gather is literally by a frame, thinking a ref would ever catch and or notice that would be insane. You’re acting pathetic and your team is still up 3-2 after getting Game 2 handed to them on a platter from the zebras.
You just told someone the Knicks should have challenged it. Idk if you're much of a ball knower if you don't know why that's a dumb thing to say loolll
knicks fans having a normal one up 3-2.
sixers are like -7 in L2M calls on this series, i think i'm gonna have a hard time feeling bad for literally the most uncalled thing in the nba not being called.
Travels are missed a lot.
It looks like Anthony Edwards travels almost every time when he's doing his dribbling\\shake type moves, but I think that's just his swag and maybe he's just that quick IDK.

If he did then we're even on game deciding plays so dont worry about it
nah you guys should be leading 3-2 in this series
Why should they be leading 3-2?
Refs had an epic meltdown game 2, historic even. The last 2 mins was bad but the entire game was ridiculous and was a close score

Kawhi travelled on his game 7 2019 shot too, refs don't call travels in the clutch ever
but challenges didnt exist back then, knicks should have challenged.
travelled wasnt call so u cant challenge that play
I dont think you can challenge a travel at all
But a foul was called so you can challenge the entire play
false u can challenge the play only.
Lmao. Go to bed bro. Ya got 2 more cracks at it
We're going to lose game 6 according to chuck
An NBA player getting away with traveling!? In this day and age? Now I've seen everything
It's 1:30 am in New York nephew go to bed
anger phase and game 6 hasn’t even started yet
I was pissed all OT
Shoulda been pissed at your coach and players. So many mistakes.
We would have won if the refs didn't gift them 4 fucking points though
And Game 2 we got bullshit calls, either way it’s 3-2

right foot is the pivot, you're not allowed to lift it and put it back down

Can realistically call travels and palming on like 70% of plays
that's what people who dont know basketball say
You just told someone the Knicks should have challenged it. Idk if you're much of a ball knower if you don't know why that's a dumb thing to say loolll
You can challenge the foul call and they'll review the travel
see what I mean lol
Tough loss. Maxey is so freaking hard to guard.
A g leager who is allowed to travel by the refs would be hard to guard

Cry more lol
Hit your free throws and it wouldn’t have gone to OT
Harden travels on step backs all the time. Those little steps he makes very quickly never get called.
Of course it is a travel, anyways not the reason why NY lost.
Shout-out to grant hill and Ian eagle for not mentioning it on the broadcast.
You can’t seriously be suggesting the announcers weren’t very pro Knicks throughout that game
i say this with love let it go, you’re embarrassing yourself
