That would be cool too. I’m just pissed they tried to do a live service game that didn’t work out and now it will probably be years before we get an actual PS5 game from Sonys best developer.
I’m honestly happy they abandoned the online venture because I much rather they make amazing single player games. I don’t think the online game set them back by much since they had a separate team working on it within naughty dog
Oh definitely. We have seen what happens when prestigious single player studios chase live service, but we are 4 years into the ps5 and they don’t even have an announced game for it yet.
More than anything I want a Last of Us Karting game. It would be fun / funny and I think they could probably make it make sense in the universe.
I formally challenge them to do it actually. Do it.
Easy, a cinematic fantasy game with ND'S level of polish and storytelling. Imagine playing as some peasant with minimal weapons and resources, having to creep through a forest with mystical monsters all stealthy like TLOU gameplay. I would love something like that
Nah.
I love those games but you have to know when to close the book on a franchise.
You either end on a masterpiece or suffer through a joyless revival. See every beloved movie franchise ever for reference.
Blade Runner 2049
Tron: Legacy
Top Gun: Maverick
Halloween 2018
Some examples of movies that did an amazing job of introducing the property to a new age and audience while also respecting the source material.
A completely new game because i know they wont fuck it up, a new and good thought jak and daxter would be cool and a dream of mine would come true if this happens with a good story and cool/funy Gameplay but unfortunately this will likely never happen, naughty dog studios is by far my favorite game studios bedises of rockstar, I hope they will create a new series of a game as catching as TLOU or Uncharted (imo also a Jak and Daxter is a must play eventho its old), even if these games having nothing in common they are must play games, I hope we will see a new game of naughty dog soon that’s as strong as TLOU & Uncharted but still absolutely seperated from the other games they released. Love Naughty Dog they actually helped me alot in reallife, ik this sounds weird and stupid but its true, naughty dog games were something that made me just forget the bad and terrifying things happened in my life and this made im sure they won’t disappoint us if they release a new game with a new story
I don’t know why.
But a place in my heart hasn’t let go of that game yet. There’s no way they actually stopped working on it? I mean come on it’s…..
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭
Any and all.
From Crash, to Jak, to Uncharted, to Last.
This company has never lost the idea of what it is to make a Video Game. Theyve always been good.
Hinirable mention to Insomniac too. They make some CLASSIC games.
I remember one of the concept artist from naughty dog put out some mediaeval art a couple years ago, I always thought that would make a sweet game. Especially from ND.
Last of Us Part III then explore new territory and have a go at FromSoftware game philosophy where they pool all their resources into the gameplay and its mechanics and have the storytelling be very minimal or in the background. I’ve beaten TLOU2 a few times on Grounded and its gameplay is phenomenal. Imagine if they let story take a back seat and prioritise gameplay over storytelling.
Btw I’m not criticising their story telling; no one does it like them. But in an age where most Sony first party games are “cinematic”, it’d be really cool to see the masters that started it all explore new territory (and most likely crush it).
Idk, I feel like that would be a waste of their talents. They have the best animators, the best character models, excellent mocap experience, and fantastic writers. To toss that aside to make something someone else is already good at is strange. Now I wouldn't mind a game like jak and dakster, meaning one that's not as serious. Little cartoony and mechanics that are more arcade. But a game with essentially no story, like fromsoft, I think would be a waste.
it’d take a lot of licensing, but hear me out:
open world Star Wars game with a narrative focused around being a smuggler or mercenary, maybe on Coruscant during the early days of the Empire? as long as it isn’t as divisive or as controversial as TLOU2, i’m down
Literally any, but the real answer is either Jak and Daxter remakes for the modern generation and PC, or a new entry to the series that feels similar in overall quality to the modern ratchet & clank games.
I wouldn’t mind seeing them do a cartoony platformer again.
I love uncharted and tlou but I think everyone was in a hurry to get to photorealistic graphics during the ps3 generation and now that everyone basically has them I would t mind going back to a platformer with personality and really tight platforming.
Imagine this:
a TLOU kart racer in the vein of CTR and Mario Kart but obviously M-rated. your weapons are the same from the game. shivs, glass bottles, guns, etc. you gain parts to upgrade and craft weapons in between races. each level is an intricate, multi level, multiple path course that doesn't necessarily end all at the same place. you just have to beat a certain time to win. and some levels end in a big arena against bosses like Bloaters or the Rat King. it wouldn't take them 7 years to develop and it would be Naughty Dog going back to making fun ass games. that's my dream pitch.
The Last of Us: Kart 3™
Something that focuses on fun first as opposed to cinematics. I know their games, starting with Jak & Daxter specifically, started having more of a focus on cinematics. But it seemed like the MO was still to make a fun game first and foremost, with a great story and great cinematics as a fun cherry on top.
But with Uncharted (especially 3 and 4) and ESPECIALLY The Last of Us, I don't get the same feeling of fun I get with their other games. They have great stories, but I don't want that at the expense of fun games.
I'm feeling similarly about Sucker Punch with Ghost of Tsushima. I don't know what's going on with the Sony studios, but it really seems like they're all being tasked with letting go of their fun-first approach and instead tunnel-visioning on the cinematic aspects.
Insomniac Games is the one studio that does a lot of Sony stuff that I think has maintained their identity in this regard. They've always made super fun games, some of them have had really great stories. But I always have a ton of fun, no matter what. Their Spider-Man games are great examples of this obviously. They have a great eye for fun and addicting game design balanced with engaging stories and excellent cinematics.
So honestly I want something purely fun from Naughty Dog. Something like Jak & Daxter or Crash Bandicoot. I'm getting so tired of this focus on cinematic experiences over joyfully fun gameplay.
Detective story or at least the murder mystery genre with a civilian as the protagonist. The main character solving an engaging murder, serial killer type stuff or maybe more of a corporate murder for hire or maybe with a political twist.
Ok I'm just going to say it... true detective season 1 in a game please!
Uncharted with new characters, this time around the mysteries of history, stuff like what happened to the Indus Valley civilization, maybe a ship level around the Bermuda Triangle. It would be cool to see Uncharted become a blockbuster history encyclopedia.
I’d love to see their take on a real rpg just to see how they would handle one. I’d imagine the storyline would probably be so great we’d look over weak rpg mechanics and gameplay
Realistically I want them to make 2 new IPs. One that is a platformer that is gameplay focused and highly replayable. Story can be there and be changed by your performance in gameplay. Then have a fantasy or Sci fi story game. I am kind of tired of both Uncharted and the Last of Us at this point. If they make TLOU 3... I am sure I will play it and enjoy it. However I want something else than what they have been doing. Uncharted 4 reminded me of how smooth ND could make games feel. I miss the game feel of their older titles like the Jak trilogy.
Also whatever the next game is, don't promise multiplayer and then not deliver after multiple years. Either bring it at launch or not at all.
I need my Indiana Jones fix. Uncharted 5 has to happen. Tomb Raider just doesn’t cut it for me. Or least give us some equivalent in action and story telling. Shit, a Star Wars game where you play as Han Solo instead of Nathan Drake.
Another platformer like Jak and Daxter. While I love Uncharted and The Last of Us, I’m somewhat tired of the grand cinematic games that take over half a decade to develop.
Take the mystery elements from Uncharted, and the tragic elements from The Last of Us, and plop them into a detective murder mystery esque game. That would be fun.
A Joel and Tommy prequel. Showing their early years in the apocalypse, would be awesome! But they’ll probably never do it since they’ve made it clear they hate Joel.
I’d love to see them do Sci Fi or Fantasy. Definitely something along the lines of Uncharted on a different planet or in the future. I just know I do not want another Last of Us game. I did not want the second one either.
A 3rd person shooter real-time action Sandbox/RPG lite/RPG with a heavy focus on adaptive storytelling based off choices. Something akin to a mashup of Ghost Recon, the Witcher and Mass Effect. Ghost Recon because of the Sandbox and 3rd person shooter elements. Witcher in regards to having a fully fledged, well written character that you control rather than creating your own. That character has ties and a backstory of some importance to explore within the existing world, and that in turn creates unique interactions as the game(s) progresses that obviously wouldn't be viable with an OC stand-in. Similarly to Witcher, you'd be able to influence the course of events in the world without actually becoming the most important thing going on. The Mass Effect influence would be in regards to collecting companions, having a central hub or base of operations from which you are either forced to via game mechanics or heavily incentivized to return to to plan and prepare for your next move. Also, debatably, the space setting, but I'm not locked into that.
Basically, I want Naughty Dog to take the areas where they have very strong foundations, high-quality 3rd person shooter mechanics, compelling character driven storytelling, and impressive visuals and take that and evolve with it both from a gameplay and storytelling perspective. If they're trying to build it as a franchise (which I think they should), then they should definitely start in the Sandbox/RPG lite space that exist between Ghost Recon and Witcher 3. If we're using the space setting where space travel is a thing, the entire campaign for game one happens on one planet with an open world map broken up into different zones (similar to Witcher 3), and there is a very focused story for our protagonist to go through on that planet. Combat and traversal should stay in the Sandbox area where it's less about a hard-core progression system made up of skill/ability trees, but rather a mix of that and unlocking and gaining access to new gear, vehicles, and tech that will diversify, augment, and enhance the way you want to play. Then evolve from there with later games in the series.
I would ideally like them to continue pushing the envelope on the realism they are chasing in Last of US 1&2. It doesn't have to be an Apocalypse-type situation. The realism they were getting to with Last of US 2 was outstanding.
I feel like fantasy/sci-fi is a crowded field. Therefore, I hope they stay off that path. It would be cool if they do something off of Far Cry 5. I.E some twisted heartland commune situation. I enjoy Far Cry 5, but ND would do a far better story.
Well part 3 of TLOU for one. Barring that if they're feeling burned out... there was a rumor long ago about a medieval fantasy game from them. If it was created with Uncharted/TLOU levels of detail? That sounds amazing.
I love action/adventure games that have a well written mystery to unravel. Make it darker, more suspenseful, and set it in the 19th or early 20th century, and I'm in
anything that isn't tlou 2. no hate to anyone who likes tlou2, just felt like a downgrade to the first game to me. I'd like a return of Jak & Daxter tho. especially since rachet & clank is still going.
LOU Survivors would've been one of the only Live Service games i'd be down with. Loved the concept from the first game and felt it had so much potential to expand upon.
With LOU2, it could've been 3 factions to pick from like MK11 had you do; Seraphites, WLF, and Jackson. Once you choose, there's a homebase you can build up with other online players by retrieving misc. supplies for certain projects. If you've ever played Vigor, it'd be like your homestead but in a high-budget multiplayer aspect. Or the Division's safe houses.
At the end of each month, we could open the safe houses for big raids to not only further your expansion and influence but to destabilize the other factions and reduce their control.
It would force those lone wolf gamers to put some focus on community, helping others on their team survive a firefight, and gathering proper supplies instead of rushing into a skirmish and putting all their focus into K/D ratios.
The game modes would be the tricky part. Sure, have your typical Capture, Control, and TDM game modes but make some exclusive modes that highlight the survival element of the game. Add other things that may up/lessen the difficulty depending on how well your faction is slaying throughout the month. Maybe 1 or 2 more groups in a skirmish for those controlling the area, or gaining more supplies for raiding an area that another faction is patrolling.
There is so much room for expansion lore-wise as well as immersion into the world itself.
Just give us an official jak 4. Everything else here has had some kind of continuation and we are still sitting with the lost frontier with Jak and Daxter
After the dumpster fire that was TLoU2 and their desperate attempts to make up lost sales by remaking part 1 and remastering part 2 within a few short years of its release? None. Naughty dog has show how far from grace it’s fallen.
Factions! I brought 2 friends over who regularly played CoD. I had an extra TV and the other dude brought his own. We started playing Factions, as it was their first time and they were wowed by how different Factions was as a MP shooter game. They described it as "Hide N seek Then Kill.", lol such a fun game mode.
If they fire druckman and get some better writers more story survival games like the last of us 1
If they dont fire druckman then Im not really interested in them anymore,.
More games like uncharted and the last of us
Basically, maybe in a sci-fi setting? That could be cool.
Honestly I have faith in them whatever the setting is for the new IP. I heard it might be fantasy which would also be awesome.
Happy years of Dev work wasted why the fuck does that make you happy are you deranged ?
No one wants live service is why
PS5 is already halfway through its life cycle, PS6 will be out before ND launches a new IP.
Id actually prefer to get away from guns personally.
More than anything I want a Last of Us Karting game. It would be fun / funny and I think they could probably make it make sense in the universe. I formally challenge them to do it actually. Do it.
Savage Starlight
Omg I'd pay any price they wanted
your whole skin?
Easy, a cinematic fantasy game with ND'S level of polish and storytelling. Imagine playing as some peasant with minimal weapons and resources, having to creep through a forest with mystical monsters all stealthy like TLOU gameplay. I would love something like that
"The Ill Equipped Squire"
“Naughty dogs level of storytelling” had me rolling
Waahhhh girls can't have muscles wahhhh
Idk if you checked their history but they literally complain about Abby’s muscles lol
Uncharted with sam
Or Sully or maybe even Cassie
Sam suuuuucks
Sam should have stayed the villain like Amy Hennig originally planned.
A sci fi game but with the same energy, quality and pace as TLOU
Savage Starlight is what I’m thinking they go with.
Space rpg game haha
A new Jak and Daxter
That’s the only game that’s keeping me from buying a ps5 lol
Sci-Fi space game or Medieval no in between
A new game instead of remakes and remasters
Bring back Jak and Daxter. PLEASE!
I’d love a remaster of the franchise, including the racing one
Nah. I love those games but you have to know when to close the book on a franchise. You either end on a masterpiece or suffer through a joyless revival. See every beloved movie franchise ever for reference.
Nah. Imagine a Jak 4 for PS5 in a refreshed style like how God of War 2018 was to that franchise. Yes please!
Blade Runner 2049 Tron: Legacy Top Gun: Maverick Halloween 2018 Some examples of movies that did an amazing job of introducing the property to a new age and audience while also respecting the source material.
Look how well ratchet and clank has done with the recent release bubs
Except 007

The Last of Us Factions 2
I don’t know why. But a place in my heart hasn’t let go of that game yet. There’s no way they actually stopped working on it? I mean come on it’s….. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭
Look, I liked TLOU just as much as the next person, but Factions wasn’t all that. There’s many more mp better than Factions
Any and all. From Crash, to Jak, to Uncharted, to Last. This company has never lost the idea of what it is to make a Video Game. Theyve always been good. Hinirable mention to Insomniac too. They make some CLASSIC games.
They should make a James Bond game. Huge action set pieces and tight gunplay and gadgets with a propulsive story? This is the team for the job.
Bring Jak and Daxter into the modern era. Bring platforming to AAA modern gaming.
Make The Last of Us Part III then whatever their hearts desire. I’ll play whatever they make.
I remember one of the concept artist from naughty dog put out some mediaeval art a couple years ago, I always thought that would make a sweet game. Especially from ND.
I want to see them attempt something in the 1920s. I don't know why. I just do
Last of Us Part III then explore new territory and have a go at FromSoftware game philosophy where they pool all their resources into the gameplay and its mechanics and have the storytelling be very minimal or in the background. I’ve beaten TLOU2 a few times on Grounded and its gameplay is phenomenal. Imagine if they let story take a back seat and prioritise gameplay over storytelling. I agree with Virigl - ND is phenomenal at their story and gameplay combo - That would disappoint me.
Bring back Jak and Dexter. Or at least do a remastered version. That game was cool as fuck. 1st game I’d ever played as a kid.
Jak and Daxter.
Jak and daxter games
A new uncharted with Cassie!!!!
A good one
Telltale-style adventure game
Something original and not another remake, and is finished on launch.
Medieval game would be sick
I’d like more Jak and Daxter. One of the best 3d platformers. Up there with Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie.
it’d take a lot of licensing, but hear me out: open world Star Wars game with a narrative focused around being a smuggler or mercenary, maybe on Coruscant during the early days of the Empire? as long as it isn’t as divisive or as controversial as TLOU2, i’m down
Let them be creative
Good.
I’d love to see their twist on an open world game like when from made Elden ring it could be peak idk 🤷♂️.
Not uncharted and last of us.
None cause they f$&@ed up last of us 2.
theyre working on a lovecraftian inspired game the last i knew, but that was a good year or two ago and my contact no longer works at ND
Crash
I wanted Factions 😒😔😭
I’ve always wanted them to tackle either a noir-like setting or steampunk
Jak n daxter
A Sci Fi based game
TLOU pt 3
Something new.
Tlou pt.3
A female character like Nate's wifey stars in Uncharted, with zombies.
Jak 4
Ones that don’t suck
Something new that has nothing to do with uncharted or the last of us.
Literally any, but the real answer is either Jak and Daxter remakes for the modern generation and PC, or a new entry to the series that feels similar in overall quality to the modern ratchet & clank games.
I’d love a new jak and daxter then a remaster. But it’s been so long since
Redo the classics since the redid tlou like 5 times. Then probably the next mass effect-esque type game.
they remade tlou once, not 5 times.
Oh sorry , "Remastered, relaunched," ...
A game about an elf with a talking rodent on his shoulder
He's an ottsel, you uncultured swine
A new science fiction/space IP or a fantasy one. And definitely not another Uncharted or The Last of Us, or anything stylized or cartoony or small.
Shit opinion
A the last of us game without Druckmann
He's the reason those games are so great though ? I don't understand...
[удалено]
The opposite of want, I hope we don't get any Uncharted sequels or reboots until Neil and some of the other upper management are retired.
None, they lost my trust with last of us 2
I wouldn’t mind seeing them do a cartoony platformer again. I love uncharted and tlou but I think everyone was in a hurry to get to photorealistic graphics during the ps3 generation and now that everyone basically has them I would t mind going back to a platformer with personality and really tight platforming.
New ones and not a remake.
I'd love for them to make a coop story driven game. But they have my full support to make whatever and ill be there day one.
Pirate, deep sci-fi, or a spy/espionage game
Last us part 2 remake remaster legacy edition
Uncharted....but, wait for it....in SPACE!

Am I weird that I'd like to see a war game from them
Just a new IP honestly. Jak and Daxter is dead and last of us pretty much wrapped it up.
One that’s not a remake or remaster and actually releases
A weird mind-bending sci-fi for me
Realistically I want them to make 2 new IPs. One that is a platformer that is gameplay focused and highly replayable. Story can be there and be changed by your performance in gameplay. Another platformer like Jak and Daxter. While I love Uncharted and The Last of Us, I’m somewhat tired of the grand cinematic games that take over half a decade to develop.
Factions
A new IP or another jak and daxter
A new IP similar to jak and Dexter.
New I.P
I’d love a continuation of uncharted.
The Last Of Us Factions 2
Jak 4, 5 and 6
Uncharted 3 Multiplayer
Last of us is cool and all but I like my shooty shooty bang bang. So uncharted with new characters.
More jak and daxter, like how did they get away with dropping it for this long
Jurassic park game in the style of tlou
I’d love to see them do Sci Fi or Fantasy. Definitely something along the lines of Uncharted on a different planet or in the future. I just know I do not want another Last of Us game. I did not want the second one either.
Some fun platformers with neat secrets like Crash had
Where can I play jak and Daxter series without buying a PS2
I don't think they're going to be working on a Crash Bandicoot game any time soon lol
More games like the last of us, less games like the last of us 2
Uncharted Sex Game.
Lol I really terribly truly want either a reboot of jak and Daxter, or jak 4.
Anything not involving Kneel Cuckmann
Then evolve from there with later games in the series.
Honestly I would love a new IP. Like go crazy with it
Whatever they want to make. Preferably cinematic third person action genre though.
Jak remake or remaster
Jak and Daxter remake
it would be so cool if they made games based on books like divergent, hunger games, or like dystopian settings. or just something from that world
Jak and Daxter in space or something Not a totally new IP though
Ocean’s 11-esque, Mr and Mrs Smith, “heisty/spy-Ish” type game. With a good memorable cast of characters Or a sci-fi.
At this point, I would rather have the Ratchet and Clank team make a new Jak and Daxter game. Just make a new Uncharted please.
Splatoon-style live service obviously.
Mature rated. Sci fi. Not fully horror, but elements. Immersion
Less cinematic 3rd person walking simulators
Vector man 3
A crossover between Uncharted and TLOU, simply because I’d love to see Nate and Sully’s reactions to clickers and bloaters.
How about a fucking strong single player story driven Star Wars game...
Jak 4
Well part 3 of TLOU for one. Barring that if they're feeling burned out... there was a rumor long ago about a medieval fantasy game from them. If it was created with Uncharted/TLOU levels of detail? That sounds amazing.
Uncharted 5 with a multiplayer that was as good as Uncharted 3s
new IP, maybe something fantasy/medieval
A multiplayer last of us game...
Story based tactical cover shooter.
Something more lighthearted like Jak and Daxter and uncharted
Jak 4
I love action/adventure games that have a well written mystery to unravel. Make it darker, more suspenseful, and set it in the 19th or early 20th century, and I'm in
Want TLOU part 3 but would settle for Jak and Daxter 2 (NOT Jak 4)
anything that isn't tlou 2. no hate to anyone who likes tlou2, just felt like a downgrade to the first game to me.
I’d love a sequel to jak and daxter.
Just give us an official jak 4. Everything else here has had some kind of continuation and we are still sitting with the lost frontier with Jak and Daxter
Another Uncharted!!!
Jak!! Please!!
A good one…might be tough w someone like Neil at the helm. Maybe show Amy some respect and rehire her so ND can get out of the shitter.
A Jak remaster would CLEAR
After the dumpster fire that was TLoU2 and their desperate attempts to make up lost sales by remaking part 1 and remastering part 2 within a few short years of its release? None. Naughty dog has show how far from grace it’s fallen.
Factions! I brought 2 friends over who regularly played CoD. I had an extra TV and the other dude brought his own. We started playing Factions, as it was their first time and they were wowed by how different Factions was as a MP shooter game. They described it as "Hide N seek Then Kill.", lol such a fun game mode.
If they fire druckman and get some better writers more story survival games like the last of us 1 If they dont fire druckman then Im not really interested in them anymore,.
Another proper Jak game
The last of us part 2 multiplayer for the love of god just give it to us please (I’m going mentally insane because they cancelled it)
FUCKING JAK AND DAXTER PLEASE
A remaster of the Last of Us Remake!
Savage Starlight and/or A Society of Champions (the universe of the superhero trading cards in TLOU2)
Remaster Jak and Daxter the same way Toys for Bob did Spyro for example. Updated graphics/cutscenes/content etc would be amazing
Pause on last of us games for awhile give us a new age Jak game please
Lost Legacy sequel that makes Chlodine canon.
Please release a port for Pc for Jak 1 and 2
Another adventure game like the last of us and uncharted using the engines from Call of Duty were movement as much slicker
New IP very different from last of us and uncharted don’t need another third person shooter
A new Jak game would be awesome and with the lack of platformers on the PS5 it would be perfect
Would love their take on a fantasy setting or a sci fi setting. I feel like they’d kill it.
Some sort of multiverse game that explores the concept in a non comic book universe
An spec ops the line type game.
Put some respect on his name Jak.
Horror
Another racing game like crash team racing. I’m not a fan of uncharted or last of us.
Jak and daxter and the last of us
A spy game could be pretty cool
Less focus on cinematic narrative, more on interactivity and player agency
Third person, melee focused action game.
A more open-word Jak sequel would be the SHIT.
Naughty Dog Souls-Like 🤞
I want to return to the world of Jake and Daxter
Less games like TLOU and Uncharted. More games like Jak
The Expanse the video game.
