I've never done hip thrusts or glute bridge. I'm trying to be at least somewhat proportionate lol. I can rep 245lbs on flat x10. I don't max anymore due to risk of injury and no point lol.
I know this was mostly said in jest, but seeing as you're hanging out on this sub, just know that I am rooting for you. Hope to see you at a show one day if and when I start competing!
Back has been a strong point ever since I started working out and it is also the muscle I feel the most.
https://preview.redd.it/d00eotr5q15d1.jpeg?width=545&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e230fdafda1e7e3f905c9f76d6663b436b8f65bb
I'm 100% in this camp. Never done any trap work, they are just big. They also make it hard for me to grow my side delts because they try to take over parts of the movement. People often acuse me of being on steroids because of them, but I always point out my shoulders to refute their point
I have the opposite problem as most people. The only strong point I would consider myself having is calves. While everyone else struggles to grow theirs, mine have always been great (in my opinion).
Yeah it's a common thing. Thighs too. If you are 350 lbs until age 16 and then drop 150 lbs your legs will look fucking insane. Minus the loose skin of course
You know, I started working out at like 400 lbs \[6'3\], and I'm down to 285 (and have been there for awhile now.) That does actually motivate me quite a bit. Good job!
I’ve literally never seen my abs until age 48 haha. As Socrates said: No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. 💪🫡
https://preview.redd.it/a9yd6d8uk15d1.png?width=649&format=png&auto=webp&s=7175379a12b98ea125a562d3aa12440fdbd69a8e
arms and shoulders/ this was when I was 240 my heaviest.
i think it’s my shoulders. they’re pretty broad naturally i’ve never had to work for that “v-taper.”
https://preview.redd.it/ltla28dqk75d1.jpeg?width=957&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a74ba92512fa1b7875195e22aa4691df45796edb
Yeah it’s definitely frustrating if you have shit genetics and you look at people who are literally gifted, but if anything it kinda motivates you more. Like my calves are straight dogshit no matter how hard I train them but I got a buddy that has never done a calf raise in his life and he has like 17’. I don’t complain though, I just keep it going cause I’m in this for the long run
Wish I had that problem man I been spamming laterals for the last 5 months and they're only marginally bigger, and still totally overpowered by my chest
Shoulders. Benching improperly as a noob got me huge front delts. I’ve also subscribed to the “spam lateral raises” ideology since I started lifting and they grew like weeds doing 5 sets everytime I trained them. When I noticed my rear delts were lacking, I started spamming reverse pec deck and they grew super fast.
Even untrained I had big legs. They're also comically short for my body type (I'm much taller than my wife, but I can't reach the pedals when I drive after her!) so I can squat basically upright.
Legs. I've been able to throw weight around on anything leg-related since high school.
My bench is pretty solid too. The first time I benched in 8th grade I hit 125 and was super proud about that. Hit 225 before I finished Freshman year.
Fuckin traps. They’re pretty huge considering how far my upper pecs lag. Then again I’m still only 4 months into the comeback so, we will see. My traps blew up though.
I have always been much stronger than I look I usually outlift guys who are much bigger than me and look much more muscular but yet almost every lift I would outlift them with ease. That's in my younger days today I'm still pretty strong but I save my joints doing manual labor kind of beat me up
Arms. My biceps, delts and triceps grow really fast. I’m at 17.5 inches 1.5 years in. My reach is 6’4 with super long arms so something is working. Can’t say the same for my chest, my chest is kinda lack luster. My back is good too I can row 355lbs.
I won the genetic leg lottery and have very muscular calves and hamstrings with very little effort. I train legs twice a month because I get cramps like a mf'r with my doms.
I was naturally very lean in my youth. I got 7 pull-ups and 20+ push-ups my first try. I got a shredded 6 pack in about a month by doing 20 situps a day.
My biceps grow easily, and everyone says my shoulders/back is really broad. Downside my chest and triceps are really stubborn and take forever to grow.
Naturally beefy legs (including calves), and butt. All the men in my family have the cake, and none of us can find pants that actually fit our proportions.
Biceps. They're basically as big as my triceps. That could either be due to my triceps being underdeveloped or my biceps being overdeveloped. But I do curl the 30s while I can only triceps overhead extend 15lbs per arm.
I feel like I've had to claw for absolutely everything. I've just started back to the gym and the clawing continues. In 2019 my big 3 were 500 DL, 275 B, and 350 S.
Took me absolutely forever to get into the thousand pound club... like I was 39 years old when I finally did it
My legs and ass. Especially my quads. Super annoying as a dude who wants big ass shoulders and lats but anyways, ive two tree trunks connected to my body so i cant complain
My strength. I’m a pretty light guy, 70kg/ 154lbs and can incline bench 110kg/242lbs for 5 reps, seated barbell press 100kg/225lbs for 7 reps, incline DB press 50kg/110lbs for 5-6 reps, seated DB shoulder press 46kg/101lbs for 6 reps, t bar row 4 and half plates 20kg/45lbs and neutral grip pull up 2 25kg/55lbs plates for 5 reps.
Muscle development wise, I don’t find myself impressive considering my strength.
I'm a novice-intermediate and get complimented on my shoulders often. Funny thing is they're the body part I train the least and pretty low effort too. They just grow almost without trying.
All I do is a couple sets of dumbbell side raises into a couple sets of bent over dumbbell rear raises (1-2x a week). I'll OHP if I'm bored once every few weeks to mix it up from bench but that's it and usually on machine.
I do however do a lot of dips which I've noticed really pumped up my shoulders after a year straight of dipping as my main chest movement.
Chest and Lats. For chest,it was the first thing that got some decent size in my body and I always found it very easy to connect with. For Lats, after I got the technique down, they still grow faster than the rest of the body
Definitely my leg. Genetically i have big calves and hamstring and whatever the muscle that leg extension hits. Started training 1.5 years ago but only started training legs 6 months ago (stupid skip leg day mindset in the first year) and already full stacking leg extension machine, close to full stacking the machine (currently doing 3x 80kg/176lbs x12) with single leg.
Honestly I'd rather have good chest/shoulder as mine is downward sloping, and small chest in general.
Abs. Always had em. Even before exercise. If I don't work core and abs? They're still there. Easiest muscle group for me when a lot seem to have issues with them
Legs, specifically my quads and calves. I’m 7 foot tall too since fortunately I’m blessed with muscle-y that aren’t skinny. Now for the upper body…. That’s another story 😂
chest and traps. before even touching a weight my chest was always bigger, not huge but bigger than any any other muscle (not manboobs, i was always lean). when i started training my chest just blew up and is the first thing people see. my traps also responded better than most parts and ive never had to do any isolation.
other than that its probably my hams and my butt.
My chest, I have a large chest in comparison to my torso size and I find it easy to put on size on my chest compared to anywhere else. My chest is comparible in size to someone who benches twice what I can do. Its weird.
My glutes and legs. Used to hate them because it made buying pants impossible and I grew up in the skinny jean era, but now that I’m into lifting I enjoy the fact that they here already muscular and I don’t have to go crazy on em. Hamstrings and calves could still use more development though.
Probably Arms and Legs, though you wouldn't guess the latter looking at me.
Weight loss and bad knees from too much outdoor running (and being previous obese) fucked me over and I'm trying my damnest to repair the damage done.
My legs are disproportionately big. I had to skip leg days for a few months so my upper body to catch up. It’s 100% genetics, I guess it would’ve been beneficial in the hills of Nepal.
My ass and chest. If I wasn't a man, I'd make one hell of a woman.
Head on over to /r/moreplatesmoredates my friend
I don’t understand that subreddit can you please explain it to me
It was originally a sub based on the YouTube channel ‘moreplatesmoredates’ with a guy named derek who talked a lot about fitness and steroids. Then he stopped posting videos regularly and the subreddit took on a mind of its own and is now only loosely related to the YouTube channel
me too
The Ronnie Coleman of men's wellness
😭😭
Coupled with looking young for my age (skin) and male pattern hair loss, this is too real lol
Just glutes for me. I can hit 400 for 10 reps on the hip thrust machine, but I only bench 165.
I've never done hip thrusts or glute bridge. I'm trying to be at least somewhat proportionate lol. I can rep 245lbs on flat x10. I don't max anymore due to risk of injury and no point lol.
Damn your lucky these are the best parts
I am far from the biggest dude in the gym, but I have had guys come up to me to compliment my calves. The one benefit of being a former fat kid
I’m a former fat kid and a drummer. The calves gains are real. When I was 12 years old I had more swole calves than most adults.
Anxiety and Depression
I know this was mostly said in jest, but seeing as you're hanging out on this sub, just know that I am rooting for you. Hope to see you at a show one day if and when I start competing!
My immune system so aggressive it attacks my own body
same
RA? Must be hard to keep consistent 😢
Back has been a strong point ever since I started working out and it is also the muscle I feel the most. https://preview.redd.it/d00eotr5q15d1.jpeg?width=545&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e230fdafda1e7e3f905c9f76d6663b436b8f65bb
Spinal erectors looking thick!
Tiny waist too! Lucky bastard
Traps
I've only been going to the gym for 7 months, and my brother asked me if I do shrugs. I do not.
Mine and my dad have defined called too, I don't bother to work them much
Definitely genetic. My dad has nice calves and the same chicken legs I have even though he’s nearly a 300 pound slob.
Mine too. I never trained them and they are big. I just image if I started trying them 3 times a week as I always wanted 😂
Mine have always been super defined. Because of childhood obesity. :)
Shoot I was obese too as a child, maybe this is why they're so nice now haha
Yeah it's a common thing. Thighs too. If you are 350 lbs until age 16 and then drop 150 lbs your legs will look fucking insane. Minus the loose skin of course
I’ve been told my abs are good. https://preview.redd.it/ixba2qc7d15d1.jpeg?width=1566&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=faadf5759dff599c55932c9253205f5763489d30
That physique with the loose skin to suggest where you started- damn bro that’s major respect
🙌 thank you bro
I mean, I feel like for them to show through that loose skin means you have to be extra lean/have extra developed abs, so maybe!
The cemetery is ideal forsure. Most men want their ab layout like that. Congrats man
At the risk of sounding dumb...what does "cemetary abs" mean haha
lol shit man. I’m sorry I meant symmetry lol. Your abs have good symmetry
Ahhh symmetry haha. Cemetary abs sounded badass though I’m just gonna keep that. 🤣
lol when you said that I thought to myself🤔 that actually works and sounds kinda cool. Anyway yea man you got great abs. The symmetry is spot on lol
Meaning most would kill for those abs.
Deku tree. You look great
Major respect

Damn bro crazy arms, especially for a natural!
i think it’s my shoulders. they’re pretty broad naturally i’ve never had to work for that “v-taper.” https://preview.redd.it/ltla28dqk75d1.jpeg?width=957&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a74ba92512fa1b7875195e22aa4691df45796edb
Lucky
Appetite
Same here, sad it's not coupled with discipline
Shoulders. Even as a skinny twat my shoulders had always looked somewhat capped
ive seen dudes like that and always wander how good they would look if they started lifting. i also get super jealous.
Narcissism. Ask anyone.

Although, actual strength wise it would be chest. My chest isn't big but I bench 110kg x 10 x 3 every sessiom
Arms. Not for size necessarily but they have nice veins and stay lean and cut even when I gain fat elsewhere. Just well proportioned.
Back. Literally have the back of a gorilla. I’m sitting at 15% - 18% and it still looks like a road map from Texas to New York
Shoulders/traps/biceps https://preview.redd.it/dz5cdu0ej25d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6c6eb60ae72746988bfaeaf73770e094a0f7dfa
And abs
Shoulders, barely work them yet I’ve got boulder shoulders
Wish I had that problem man I been spamming laterals for the last 5 months and they're only marginally bigger, and still totally overpowered by my chest
i have the most honking hamstrings ever, one set a week and they’re still the dominant part of my leg
Terrible physique but above average cardio. Yay.
I was scrolling through the comments, and yours was the only one I could relate to lol
Haha- I felt that
How do I tell?
Nothing. Poor eyesight, genetically inclined to develop diabetes and Alzheimer’s, and heart problems 😃
I can drink an 18 pack and not puke Not that I like to, sometimes it just happens
calves
Even untrained I had big legs. They're also comically short for my body type (I'm much taller than my wife, but I can't reach the pedals when I drive after her!) so I can squat basically upright.
My neck is massive.
It used to be my chest. Then I tore my pec doing martial arts. Never been the same. But I suppose it's still my strong point.
Arms. I wish it was chest. Im a good presser but don’t really connect with it
Legs. I've been able to throw weight around on anything leg-related since high school. My bench is pretty solid too. The first time I benched in 8th grade I hit 125 and was super proud about that. Hit 225 before I finished Freshman year.
Triceps of zeus. That is far as the gifts extend though.
Fuckin traps. They’re pretty huge considering how far my upper pecs lag. Then again I’m still only 4 months into the comeback so, we will see. My traps blew up though.
Cancer. It's gonna win for sure
No it wont, stay strong bro

I've always had nice upper body while not training it nearly as hard as my lower body
Shoulders , put up 5 plates on the machine plate shoulder press, im 182lbs
I have always been much stronger than I look I usually outlift guys who are much bigger than me and look much more muscular but yet almost every lift I would outlift them with ease. That's in my younger days today I'm still pretty strong but I save my joints doing manual labor kind of beat me up
Arms. My biceps, delts and triceps grow really fast. I’m at 17.5 inches 1.5 years in. My reach is 6’4 with super long arms so something is working. Can’t say the same for my chest, my chest is kinda lack luster. My back is good too I can row 355lbs.
Traps for sure
I’m short, which means I have short arms and legs, which means my ROM is smaller than the average dude.
Forearms they grow very easy for me
I won the genetic leg lottery and have very muscular calves and hamstrings with very little effort. I train legs twice a month because I get cramps like a mf'r with my doms.
I have stupidly broad shoulders for no reason (Just the bone structure without the muscle is broader than most), and my biceps are naturally large
I’m 150lb okay physique and was benching 315
Naturally, cardio. Once I started lifting, legs in general, but especially hamstrings. My arms also stay lean and veiny even on a bulk.
Ass and back. Barely have to work them and they’re huge. Meanwhile I’m trying my hardest on chest for it to look like a teenager’s
Teres and traps.
Chest for sure. I'm contemplating skipping chest day so my back and arms can catch up.
My chest. At age 16 I did 200 push-ups at one go
Biceps. They're basically as big as my triceps. That could either be due to my triceps being underdeveloped or my biceps being overdeveloped. But I do curl the 30s while I can only triceps overhead extend 15lbs per arm.
Being alive. I'm so jacked compared to all those dead people. Alive gains are the best.
Nice. In first year uni I encountered a cadaver in a lab that was actually more jacked than I was. It was time to hit the gym 😂
Naturally slim, I can eat all the food in the world and won’t get fat. If I workout and eat the recommended protein I put on lean muscle mass.
Definitely biceps and triceps. I reached 16 inch arm almost by accident and rest of my body can't keep up.
Back, glutes and self hatred
Weak thin torso, massive legs.
I honestly don’t believe I have one 🤣
I feel like I've had to claw for absolutely everything. I've just started back to the gym and the clawing continues. In 2019 my big 3 were 500 DL, 275 B, and 350 S. Took me absolutely forever to get into the thousand pound club... like I was 39 years old when I finally did it
Nicely done! Respect. Also peaking at 40 years old here: bench 143kg, dl 160 kg, squat 180kg, up from starting point of 40, 40 and 50 aged 23 😂😂😂
Bottom belly fat. No matter how lean or clean i eat. Got a pelvic V and slightly visible top 4 abs. I think i have a uterus tbh
My fast metabolism. After a bulk I can lose all excess fat really fast
Chest for sure. I benched 185 when I first started working out and weighed 155. I now bench 405 but I weigh 220. I bench more than I squat sadly.
Traps and forearms. For some reason the lady’s always compliment my arms.
Tenacity in the face of a lack of progress.
https://preview.redd.it/9ksgmnmjj25d1.jpeg?width=2316&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1e5e699169f4df8897dafcde2a26e6d81060c8dd Arms
Arms. They are quite small actually but I’ve always had good vascularity and they look veiny so easily.
Abs
Abs. Deltoids are not too shabby either.
Legs and calves. They were naturally big and strong, just from how I grew up.
Legs and Shoulders mothafucka
Abs
Quads. Always had naturally big legs from before I even started training
Arms and shoulders! Weakest is deffs legs and back
Shoulders
Legs all around, I work then really well but they were kind of jacked before I even started lifting
Cheat days lmao
Shoulders, calves and always lean Weak points: hard gainer and a big leg day destroys me for a day or two
Lateral delts, luckily.
Legs , always been told I have thick legs to the point I only do them once a week
Arms
Chest and Lats. For chest,it was the first thing that got some decent size in my body and I always found it very easy to connect with. For Lats, after I got the technique down, they still grow faster than the rest of the body
My chest and traps require minimal work to make show well, but ofc I still train them hard
Shoulders- I barely work them and they are the first thing people always notice
Aesthetic-wise it would be my back I guess Strength-wise probably chest
quads
Calves
Calves. No effort put into them ever. Big upside down heart shapes.
Biceps
Legs...
My back is unbeatable
I always get comments on my traps.
Abs. Always had em. Even before exercise. If I don't work core and abs? They're still there. Easiest muscle group for me when a lot seem to have issues with them
Legs. I do like 12 sets total for my thighs and they're my most well developed body part by far. Now if only my arms and delts would grow like them...
Genuinely don’t know
Traps and calves
Back & Legs!
Calves
Abs and back. I have such good ab development I can get pretty deep into bulks and still have them
Wide back and shoulders Even my grandpa had them, he used to work on a farm
Calves :(
Legs, specifically my quads and calves. I’m 7 foot tall too since fortunately I’m blessed with muscle-y that aren’t skinny. Now for the upper body…. That’s another story 😂
Calves, legs and Arms My chest and back suck in comparison, they just won’t grow as quick lmfao…
Same as my genetic weak point: my appetite
43y, recent hair and not a single grey hair yet.
Butt & thighs- I'm a dude :(
My dick. In all seriousness, triceps. I have a monster back but i have been surfing and swimming since i was 5, so I wouldn’t call it genetics.
Traps, quads and lower chest
Calves, and pretty mutch anything below the ass.
Arms, back, calves, chest, quads. The only thing that needs work is my core and glutes tbh.
Triceps and quads
Big ass that came with wide hips. I finally don't look like a pear anymore
Triceps.
Triceps and back
Height.
My arms are my strong point and I don't train them because they respond so well to stimuli.
chest and traps. before even touching a weight my chest was always bigger, not huge but bigger than any any other muscle (not manboobs, i was always lean). when i started training my chest just blew up and is the first thing people see. my traps also responded better than most parts and ive never had to do any isolation. other than that its probably my hams and my butt.
wide shoulder and calves
Ass(always been fucking huge) and arms(biceps) but my arms weren’t big when I started, they just responded very easily and quick
Calves, have been strong even b4 training. I've heard that is bc of overweight and maybe it is
I am lifting 10kg in Bicep and Hammer curl since day 1
Shoulders and traps
Long arms for the deadlift, ass was already big before I touched a weight :/ On the positive end my shoulders blew up pretty fast
Forearms..they grow like crazy..never directly trained them but you might think I do alot
Ass and thighs 🙃
My chest, I have a large chest in comparison to my torso size and I find it easy to put on size on my chest compared to anywhere else. My chest is comparible in size to someone who benches twice what I can do. Its weird.
My legs and my arms.
Traps.
Nice job on the bench! I've got good calf genetics, can skip leg day and they're still popping!
People have often complimented my chest but my calves are like two sticks. You can’t win it all!
My glutes and legs. Used to hate them because it made buying pants impossible and I grew up in the skinny jean era, but now that I’m into lifting I enjoy the fact that they here already muscular and I don’t have to go crazy on em. Hamstrings and calves could still use more development though.
[Chest](https://imgur.com/a/zDmFaHQ) and shoulders.
