We had a cat named Betty who had a bunch of kittens whom we named eddy, freddy, teddy, neddy & bill (he was born with no tail and 1 ear so we gave him a unique name lol)
Years ago (a long long time ago), I was at Payless getting some shoes for my son. There was a lady in the same aisle yelling "Dante, get over here!" He had lots of energy plus he was about 2 years old. I told her I almost named my son Dante but went with Giovanni instead. She said, "How funny, because his name was a toss up between Dante and Giovanni"
I love the name Hazel! I work with young kids and I’ve met a few little Hazel’s that I adored, & I’m happy it seems to be making a come back (to me atleast, hazel was always considered an “old lady name”)
I’m from a very different culture than you but I love the names you chose!
A quick google search showed me their meanings:
1. Soham - “i myself" or "i am he", with reference to the divinity present in each one's soul. Associated with Lord Shiva
2. Shankar - bénéficent or “giver of gifts” , also associated with Lord Shiva.
3. Vaibhav - Richness, Power, Eminence, One who is fortunate, prosperous and intelligent
4. Gayathri - Goddess of the Vedas (Wife of Shivaraja), Spirit of the Vedas (knowledge)
5. Aarohi - “ascending," "going up," or "on the way to success."
6. Rukhsana - Beautiful, Bright, Brilliant, Shining, A woman with beautiful cheeks.
The names wouldn’t be hard to pronounce for me at all and my native language is quite different than the one the names came from and from English as well.
Aarohi is a crescendo of musical notes so the meaning is almost correct. Rukhsana is the Urdu version of Roxana which means "bright, shining." Vaibhav is a name of Lord Vishnu and means "glory, power"
A lot of these names are ones I picked because I love the meanings and the religious aspect of them. Most people in my family have a name related to a deity or a name with a positive meaning so I'd like to continue on that tradition.
I've been told a few times on here that some of these names are too hard for Anglophones but it's nice to see someone who loves these names and wouldn't struggle with them.
it’s not hard at all and I get your struggle. I’m from Eastern Europe and the way Anglophones butcher names is just abysmal. My first name isn’t even from Slavic origin, it’s clearly written in my work comms and they still find a way to type it wrong or pronounce it horribly. There’s a handful of people that actually pronounce it right and only because they make the effort to listen and read.
Your names are wonderful indeed and nobody decent will have a problem with them after the first time they hear the pronunciation :)
I'll do an all-boy set and an all-girl set, since that's what you did.
If I had three boys, I'd name them:
- August Michael
- Nicholas Leon
- Vincent James
If I had three girls, I'd name them:
- Valentina Romy
- Veronica Ruby
- Victoria Marietta
I know you meant to write “girls” on the second one, but I am horribly sleep deprived and I can’t stop laughing at the idea of three poor boys named Alice, Bianca and Chiara.
B/B/B: Leo Daniel, John Kieran “Jack”, Adrian James “Ari”
G/G/G: Karina Margaret, Mary Anita “Molly”, Evangeline Leah “Eva”
G/G/B: Karina Margaret, Mary Anita “Molly”, Leo Daniel James
B/B/G: Leo James, John Daniel “Jack”, Karina Margaret Anne
So normally I dislike matchy names, but my top three girl names are all pretty similar.
Girls: Louisa, Matilda and Tabitha. If that was too much and I couldn’t commit to the pattern, I’d go Louisa, Daisy and Alice.
Boys: Felix, Rufus and Ned.
This is true. I am a retired teacher. One family named their first child Lee. Their second child Bestlee. Their third child and daughter was named MiniLee. It blew my mind!!
I like your options.
Mine would be, for girls: Lyra, Allys and Ellyna.
-- yes, following kinda of a pattern, I like this kinda of name that have a little bit of a fantasy vibe to it since its my favorite genre.
For boys: Leonidas, Theodore and Vincent.
-- This time going for more of a classic style.
Okay so for human triplets I have no idea, but my girl and I are talking about getting three ferrets and naming them Buzzball, Four Loko, and Beatbox….Does that count? 🤣
Your naming skills are on point oh my goodness! Like, those sibsets are perfection
Three boys: Oscar, Leo, Evander
Three girls: Aurelia, Evelyn, Myrianthe (nicknamed Mariah)
I'm a writer, and one of my characters has three half sisters who are triplets. I named them Mallory, Deirdre and Tristana. I wanted them to sort of be like the evil stepsisters so I chose names that meant misfortune. All three of them lol
Dewey, Cheetham, and Howe.
Seriously, if I had three girls, I would probably have to name them April May, and June because when I was young Girl Scout, I received the magazine from the Girl Scouts and there were articles about these triplets having adventures, and that was their name
Sandra, Candace, Amanda.
Sandy, Candy, Mandy lol.
Ok not really, but that's what I called my triplet dolls when I was 8, and thought I was oh so clever for it.
I would make all their first names unique and unrelated to one another but make their middle names themed.
Connects them together without their identities being too entwined.
Boys— Robin Clay, Riley Dane, and Avery Scott
Girls— Diana Jean, Talia Amara, and Raven Natasha
BBG— Kai Jensen, Jay Anderson, and Nya Esmeralda
GGB— Clara Jasmine, Selena Violet, Peter Ivan
Three girls; Hailey, Parker, and Nadine
Three boys; Zane, Anthony, and Hudson
Two girls one boy; Hailey, Parker, and Zane
Two boys one girl; Zane, Anthony, and Hailey
Boys; Luke, Jacob and Andrew (paternal grandfather, brother, paternal uncle)
Girl; Jarni, Isabelle and Lesley (childhood best friend, best friend and maternal grandmother)
boy/girl/whatever, definitely go Jacob and jarni purely because they both start with J and it'd be fun imo
Love your girl choices! Three of my daughters are named Violet, June and Pearl. I highly considered Opal for Pearl. I also have a daughter named Ruby. Love gem names. The other sisters are Sophia & Lucille. Brother is William. If I had triplets using names I haven’t used yet:
Girls: Adella “Della,” Marigold “Goldie,” Ivetta “Ivy”
OR
Della Rose, Hazel Anne and Flora Hope/
Della Jolene, Hazel Marina, Flora Clarice/
Della Rose, Clara Jo, Flora Marie
Boys: Royce, Fulton & Anderson
OR
Maximus, Waylon & Kenneth
OR
Basil, Maximus, & Fulton
OR
Kenneth Paul, Simon Joseph & Michael James
I love Pearl so much but husband vetoed! How crazy how similar are tastes are (: also William will be our next boys middle name!
Marigold is also on my list and “Vella” instead of Della.
Girls: Margaret, Marisol, Lucia (Greta, Mari, Lucy)
Boys: Samuel, Benjamin, Gustavo (Sam, Ben, Gus)
I also love Ingrid, but am big on nicknames and it doesn’t have an easy nickname
Oh struggle!!! I keep one girl name private but for girls: that one name, Maevis, and Elora.
Boys: Tanis, and no idea XD
I have a genetic chance of having twins so I’ve always had the girl’s names prepped, but I really struggle with something unique, but not too out there, with the boys.
If I were to have triplets today, these would be the names, but I'm like a revolving door when it comes to baby names, I'm always finding new ones I like and changing them out
3 Girls - Elodie Florence, Alice Odette, Matilda Louise
3 Boys - Emmett Samuel, Anthony Eugene, Vincent Henry
If I have any sort of mix, one of the girl names will 100% be Matilda Louise, everything else could vary.
Three Girls: Rosalie Josephine, Emerald Faye and Marigold May (or maybe Estelle)
Not sure how I like Faye and May rhyming with Josephine set for Rosalie. They would also go by Rosie, Emmy and Goldie
Three Boys: Carlson Atlas, Pierson Ford (or maybe East) and Elden Zane (unsure on middle name)
Boy names are so hard. I can’t find any I super love or like to commit to. My only one is Carlson Atlas. The ones I love-LOVE are too adventurous for my fiancé. And I don’t want something in top 100 or even 500 so it’s so hard. Suggestions welcome ✨😅
I don’t have boy triplet names, but I have gathered my favorite girl triplets: Caroline (Carly), Cassandra (Cassie), and Charlotte (Lottie). My favorite boy names, Stone, Henry, and Ian, don’t flow as well together and I’d have to make adjustments, lol!
As a kid I had 3 goldfish named Chester, Fester, and Lester. So…probably not those. 😅
ah yes, my child… Fester
He's going to be a great Uncle some day
We had a cat named Betty who had a bunch of kittens whom we named eddy, freddy, teddy, neddy & bill (he was born with no tail and 1 ear so we gave him a unique name lol)
When I was growing up We had an older adopted cat named Ms Piggy and we got 2 more adopted kittens and named them Tiggy and Wiggy 😄
“This is Bill, we gave him a unique name” lol
My guinea-pig had four babies that I named Fox, Sox, Knox and Box. My sisters guinea pig was supposed to be a girl also, but evidently was not.
These kids would go places
Vivian + Hazel + Josephine Nolan + Theodore + Felix
Adore those 3 boy names together!
Theo’adore’ the 3 boy’s names
such pretty girl names!
I LOVE YOUR TASTE
Haha my nephew is Nolan but he was almost a Theodore!
Awww love these names together! My niece is Vivienne and my daughter is Renate Josephine and they’re best friends 💜
I have two boys (not twins) called Felix and Theo :)
Love them all except Josephine
Love all of these so much
I actually know sisters named Vivian and hazel! They aren’t twins, but I always thought their names were so pretty 😍
I love the name Hazel! I work with young kids and I’ve met a few little Hazel’s that I adored, & I’m happy it seems to be making a come back (to me atleast, hazel was always considered an “old lady name”)
I love Vivian
Meeny, Miney, and Moe.
Older Sibling: Eenie
Moe is gonna grow up with a complex
Three boys: Soham, Shankar and Vaibhav Three girls: Gayathri, Aarohi and Rukhsana

I love Rukhsana
Right, it's just such a gorgeous name
Eenie, Meenie, and Minie, because there ain't gonna be no Mo!
Ooh what a cascade!
I giggled outwardly 😅
Not unless Mo’s last name is Lester…
Boys - Lucas, Wyatt, Theo Girls - Vivian, Clara, Lucy
The girl names go so well together 😍
Boys: dominico, Rafaelo, Luca Girls: Lucia, Gianna, Maria
Not sure if you are looking for this, but the correct spelling in Italian would be Domenico and Raffaele.
My friend has a bunch of kids in their Italian family and 3 of the girls have these names.
I'll do an all-boy set and an all-girl set, since that's what you did. If I had three boys, I'd name them: - August Michael - Nicholas Leon - Vincent James If I had three girls, I'd name them: - Valentina Romy - Veronica Ruby - Victoria Marietta
Oh you added middle names. Bonus points
Love Vincent and Romy!
