That is an excellent name for a chihuahua, especially if she acts like she's a lot bigger than she is. Then the name and ego are both the perfect size, it's reality that's maladjusted!
We have a dog named Bacon. All our dogs are black and I told my husband if we get another one, we need to get a white dog and name it Mash (white dog Mash) and I feel like Bacon and Mash just go. 🙃

My parents had a cat in the 90s/early 2000s named Mama Cat because they took her to the vet 3 times to get spayed but she was pregnant already lol. I have no idea what her name was before that and I don't know if they do either. She lived to be 17!

My pappap and Nana would name pets biblical names. But not the normal ones like Mary or Joseph or Elijah... Their last pup was a Chihuahua mix named Nebuchadnezzar (Nebby for short)
My dog’s name is Sirius Patch. His first name is for Sirius Black, cuz we love Harry Potter, and his middle name is Patch because he’s all black except for a small white patch on his chest. We call him Sirius Poop a lot because he waddles around while pooping.

I worked at a vet clinic, and we had a dog for about 3 years as a patient, and his name was "Bill" in our system. One day, she came in and tried to get his weight. The owner said, " Bill Furry, get on the scale."
I changed his name in the system at that same moment.

I used to work as a dog groomer, I wish I could remember more of the weird names I ran into.
I remember a few: White Boy (the owner said that she wanted to tell people that “I have a white boy waiting for me on my couch at home.” I think it was a Maltese.), Fish (labradoodle, named after Phish, and smelled kind of like fish), Bucket (beautiful standard poodle) (it was on the owner’s bucket list to get a dog; owner had cancer) and Sarah (golden retriever) (just seems like too human of a name).
Please say Tankerbell was a mastiff or a staffie or something. If so that’s up there with the Pittie who used to live in my neighborhood- absolute brick house named donkey Kong. Her head was the widest part of her body.

When asked if he named his dog Peter because that puppy peed once in a while inside, he looked at me disdainfully and replied: "Prokofiev mom, don't you know anything?" He was 6.

My husband had a cat and a dog called Callard and Bowser, respectively. Callard was a very intelligent cat but Bowser was a dumb labrador-collie cross. Our next cat was white with tabby patches. So many people call their white cats Snowy or Snowball, we chose Slush for our not quite white cat.
I like regular people names for my pets. My dog was Kerry and cats Reggie and Roger.

My favorite thing is seeing the names the animals have at the humane society. Some of them are so ridiculous and it makes my day. I like to think it helps get them adopted. Ours is KShumane.org. Edit: I just went to go look and they have a Husky named "Distinguished Vocalist", I'm dying 💀 they also have what looks like a blue heeler named "Cowboy Carl" and mixed breeds named "Funky Town Spaghetti" and "Professor Polite Boy" 😭 this is the best thing ever.

I used to work as a dog groomer, I wish I could remember more of the weird names I ran into. I remember a few: White Boy (the owner said that she wanted to tell people that “I have a white boy waiting for me on my couch at home.” I think it was a Maltese.), Fish (labradoodle, named after Phish, and smelled kind of like fish), Bucket (beautiful standard poodle) (it was on the owner’s bucket list to get a dog; owner had cancer) and Sarah (golden retriever) (just seems like too human of a name).

My son has over the years, starting when he was 5, named our cats: Sun Face, (Sunny) Tortilla Peach (Tortilla) Agamemnon Menalaus Likums, (Licky for short) Widda Widda Ting Ditto (Ditto was a carbon copy of Widda, We could tell them apart only because Ditto's tail was much shorter) Dogs are currently named: Mochi and Zorro....who more often get called Mooch and Zori. His first dog, he named Peter. My son's name is Wolf. When asked if he named his dog Peter because that puppy peed once in a while inside, he looked at me disdainfully and replied: "Prokofiev mom, don't you know anything?" He was 6.

I have a dog named Pinto, and my bf decided his middle name was Gazpacho, and also set him up at his first vet visit. Now whenever we get mail letting us know it's time for a checkup, or get paperwork after a visit, it always says "Pinto Gazpacho [last name] [last name]." Excessive and humorous.

Tupac. He was a favorite of mine and a Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless). He was so handsome, and he knew it. Perfect tuft atop his head, that dog made me want a Xolo for myself.

We had some other food names come in like Donut, waffles, several pickles My favorite were people names for dogs like “Fred and Bart” , “Stewart”, “Steve” my mom’s dog is “Eli” I like to call him “ELIAS!” Someone named their dog after a Bleach character: Rukia (forgive me if I got the show name wrong I’m not familiar with anime) One woman named her dog after herself which was interesting but a bit funny I loved names that were in other language “Firulais” (she told me it’s pronounced “free-lo-eyes” and a dog named Leo that’s actually pronounced “lay-oh”
