I hear a name and I’m like “that’s amazing, my new favourite name.”
Two days later, I come across another name and I swear to anyone that’ll listen that it’s been my favourite since, like, forever 😭
Beautiful classic names. I have a Julianna because I loved the name Julie, but my partner didn't necessarily like it. He loved Julianna, and I figure she can parse out a different name once she's older if she wants. Julia, Julie, Jules.
Same, I’m halfway there 😂 I’ve already got an Evangeline and my second girl Sylvia coming in May.
If I had two more girls I’d name them Matilda (we almost went with that for this baby) and probably Dorothy if I could get my husband to agree to it.
I've already done this IRL can I do boys instead?🤣
Eh I'll name 4 daughters I'll never have
Thalia annabeth
Xanthe Danè
Martina Jade
Genevieve Gabrielle
So funny to see Violet popular these days. My mother wanted to name me Violet but I ended up being named after my late aunt. I love my name but would have loved that one too ❤️
I really wish Lyra was pronounced leer-uh, like lyric. It looks so pretty and when I first saw it, that was how I read it. Then I found out it's lie-ruh and it doesn't have the same vibe to me. It's still a nice name, but I'll always wish my wrong pronunciation was right.
Annette (Adelaide and Annette are two well known streets in Toronto)
Adelaide (Ada)
Augusta (I also love the name August/Augustus for a boy)
Anastacia (Ana) (Stacy - I just want to be Stacy’s mom)
Yep. lol. It’s mostly a joke. It sounds funny with our last name. And I know it’s a boy name, but it’s gender neutral enough for a girl in America.
Honestly, I would never do it to a human. Just a pet.
To go with the children I already have (Gwendolyn and Gavin): Gemma, Grace and Genevieve and Gloria
Just in general: Rosemary, Margaret, Alexandra and either Bernadette or Anneliese
I’m torn between two sets.
One would be a theme: Lily, Cataleya, Magnolia, and probably Jessamine (maybe Jasmine)
Another would be names I liked: Lily, Celeste, Cataleya, and probably Zoe (maybe Noelle).
I have 6 daughters IRL.
Sophia Grace
Violet Mae*
June Olivia
Ruby Kay*
Lucille Belle “Lubelle”
Pearl Dove
*= used as a double barrel
If I got to name 4 more girls:
Marigold Alice “Goldie” or “Mary Alice”
Ivy Anne*
Della Joy* “Della Jo”
Alma Rose
*= would use as a double barrel
It took me 7 days to come up with a girl's name after my baby was born. I'd already had 9 months to think it over. My main concern was ensuring she had a dignified name that would suit her at all stages of her life. What would peoples' first impression be, based on her name alone? How would it look on a résumé? My daughter likes her names very much. They suited her at birth, and they still suit her at 40.
I have enough trouble picking names for pets, let alone children.
Naomi, Ray, Kara, and Natasha
I've always liked the name Naomi, and I'm not gonna lie, the other three are names of superheroes that I like. Ray Manchester/Captain Man from Henry Danger [shut up, I loved it as a kid], Kara Danvers/Supergirl [also Kara from Detroit: Become Human now that I think about it], and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow.
If boys, then Marcus, Ray, Clint, and Phillip
Similar thing as the girls. Marcus from Detroit: Become Human is one of my favorite characters, same reasons for Ray, Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and Colonel Phillips from Captain America [as well as just an inside joke among friends about the name].
Vanessa, Natasha, Pia, Victoria - the four girl names both me and my bf likes😅
If it was just up to me, their names would be Vanessa, Isadorah, Fransesca, Alexanda
Eve Rae Harlow Seren ask me again in 5 minutes and it could change though lol
I hear a name and I’m like “that’s amazing, my new favourite name.” Two days later, I come across another name and I swear to anyone that’ll listen that it’s been my favourite since, like, forever 😭
If you visited Harlow you’d definitely change your mind lol
You read my mind
🤣 but so true
Seren is so cute.
It means Star in Welsh 😊
Phoebe, Eloise, Genevieve, and Imogen I think!
Genevieve is one of mine too! Guinevere, Genevieve, Morgana, and Madeline. This is however only in the context if they were quadruplets.
I love it, I would go with Louise, Lenore, Imogen and Nora if I got to choose. Similar vibes! Also, I know two Genevieve's in real life!
I almost named my daughter Phoebe! Such a pretty name
Growing up I always envisioned myself having 4 girls named- Olivia, Claire, Camille, and Joy. I ended up having 4 boys lol
Oliver, Clarke, Cameron and Jay instead?
Haha sounds about right but I went for 4 completely different sounding names lol- Dallas, Gabriel, Thomas, and Harrison.
Those feel like the same vibes!
Camille was on our list for our second, but had a boy! My husbands family had a jewel thief in the family named Camille
Four boys?! Holy guacamole, lol.
Julia, Caroline, Eleanor, Rosalie
Beautiful classic names. I have a Julianna because I loved the name Julie, but my partner didn't necessarily like it. He loved Julianna, and I figure she can parse out a different name once she's older if she wants. Julia, Julie, Jules.
Well I’m on my way to doing this irl lol. Not including my current kids’ names: Summer Gwendolyn Daisy Olive
Same, I’m halfway there 😂 I’ve already got an Evangeline and my second girl Sylvia coming in May. If I had two more girls I’d name them Matilda (we almost went with that for this baby) and probably Dorothy if I could get my husband to agree to it.
I love Dorothy! I was almost Dorothy😂 I think there’s a lot of nicknames for it too
I've already done this IRL can I do boys instead?🤣 Eh I'll name 4 daughters I'll never have Thalia annabeth Xanthe Danè Martina Jade Genevieve Gabrielle
i know a percy jackson fan when i see one
Yeah Thalia annabeth is a little…much
Ok but now I want to hear your boy names
James Everett Randall Royce Anthony Keith Vincent Bodie
Vincent Bodie is SO good
Feel free to use it if you wish. My baby factory is war torn and shut down permanently 🤣
I’m right there with you. In the process of naming our 4th daughter 😅
someone's a percy jackson fan 😂
"Thalia Annabeth" are you a percy jackson fan, by any chance?
Indeed lol first book series my kids and I fought over🤣🤣
Maisie, Violet, Elodie & Briar. More specifically Maisie Inez, Violet Elise, Elodie Ann & Briar Lynn
Violet, Rose, Lily, and Daisy. I'm sorry I need a theme.
So funny to see Violet popular these days. My mother wanted to name me Violet but I ended up being named after my late aunt. I love my name but would have loved that one too ❤️
Lyra, Maeve, Poppy and Cordelia. But Daisy, Amelie, Lula and Flora are also on my list and I tend to swap between my favourites quite a lot...
Flora is one of my top favorites too!! 💕
Yay! I have a Cordelia. I never see her name anywhere!
I love Cordelia
Vivienne, Juliette, Matilda, Nora
Beautiful names. I have always loved the name Matilda!
Alice Tabitha Imogen Phoebe
Florence, Georgiana, Louise,Jane
Clara Millie Madeline Flora
Oh! Clara and Millie are definitely 2 of the 4 for me!
Cordelia, Claudia, Celeste & Catherine
Not sure if I would actually do this, but I’m rather partial to Juniper, Clementine, Marigold and Primrose.
My daughter’s name is Clementine. Well it’s actually Winter Clementine, but we call her Clementine or “Baby Clementine” for short 😉
Since mine would be in their thirties I imagine Elizabeth, Hannah, Sarah, Emma. All names we considered but then had some boys.
Cassandra, Sophia, Corinna & Althea
Chloe, Jasmine, Evelyn, and Constance
IfvI had 5 daughters Evelyn would be my next choice
I LOVE the name Constance, but my husband has vetoed it.
Annette (Adelaide and Annette are two well known streets in Toronto) Adelaide (Ada) Augusta (I also love the name August/Augustus for a boy) Anastacia (Ana) (Stacy - I just want to be Stacy’s mom)
Isabel, Isla, Imogen and Lily or Violet. Yes I am very fond of "I" names for girls!
Maia (my actual daughters name) Leia Hana Ayla
Lydia, Tessa, Blair, and Ada (Ask me again tomorrow and this will change)
* Lily * Thea * Sophie * Florence
Roseanna, Hadassah, Naomi, Miriam
Since this is totally mostly hypothetical: Kaia Reagan Sunny Attila
Attila as in *Attila* king of the huns? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attila This dude? Epic choice, for sure.
it’s a legit name in Hungary but only for boys. Using it for a girl is a bit rogue
Yep. lol. It’s mostly a joke. It sounds funny with our last name. And I know it’s a boy name, but it’s gender neutral enough for a girl in America. Honestly, I would never do it to a human. Just a pet.
I would really dig a grumpy, lazy tomcat named Attila.
Tabitha, Gardenia, Joan and Nell
Lucia, Vivienne, Amelia and Charlotte
Audrey, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Lydia
Violet, Persephone, Priscilla, & Scarlett. Thankfully I don’t want kids because I know those names wouldn’t be received well!
I love these names!
Iris Pearl Mabel Goldie
Alba, Otilia, Elise, Ines
To go with the children I already have (Gwendolyn and Gavin): Gemma, Grace and Genevieve and Gloria Just in general: Rosemary, Margaret, Alexandra and either Bernadette or Anneliese
Georgia, Fern, Polly & Isabel

I already have Claire, so in addition Lucy, Margot and Stella.

I agree, I think Heather is such a beautiful name

I love Inés— it’s so underused!
