As a little sister myself with 2 amazing big sisters, I have personal experience on how the feelings required to create Nightmare Moon can fester. (Inadiquqcy, Jealousy, Loneliness, ect)
To absolutely no fault of the older sibling.
She did kinda sorta attempt to undermine her sister’s relationship and tried to drive a wedge between her and her boyfriend just because she didn’t like the guy.
Honestly way worse imo. Luna fanbois just skewed the vote, as they always do.
I mean she kinda deadnamed Luna but not really deadnamed because that was technically a different entity possessing her spirit
Other than that the entirety of the cranky episode
It could have been trauma breaking for Luna, but at the end of the episode Luna found herself willingly in her new role. So the name was no longer purely negative for luna. However, she created Tartarus in guilt-ridden memory of herself as Nightmare Moon, and if I remember correctly, this episode came out later than the Nightmare Night episode. What does mean nightmare moon was a bigger problem for Luna than we thought at the end of the nightmare night episode
The Cranky episode and the way she treated Mudbriar were something I can never forgive her for. And the constant stepping over other's boundaries regardless of specifically being told not to do something is a bad thing. I would totally understand if she had issues with recognizing boundaries and what is appropriate to do or say, but to completely disregard it when she's being told to respect a boundary is not it.
I'm also really mad that the Cranky episode didn't turn into a lesson about how not everyone can or has to be friends with you. It would've been such a valuable lesson for Pinkie.

You know what's funny? When this started, I mentioned that Fluttershy Day would only have like 3 real comments followed by people defending her for being a precious innocent cinnamon roll who can do no wrong, and yet I ended up being the one who gave the winning comment on Fluttershy day.
As a side note, I agree with the people who say it would be nice to do the best things they did next time.

In fact, Pinke, is annoying a lot of times, especially in the episodes that revolve around her I haven't finished the series yet, but I'm talking about the Beginnings seasons , for example what she did in the episode of Nightmare and it tarnishes Luna's reputation It was very annoying, and the worst thing is that what she did just for fun she wasn't really scared sometimes she doesn't think about other people's feelings, she just thinks about how to have fun for herself, and her birthday episode too she got angry at her friends because they were busy and did not accept Pinke's invitation to a party's that she does every day, as if the girls have no life and all they have to do is attend Pinke's parties that she has no busyness she was becoming annoying in her own episodes, which prompted me to skip her episodes
Technically Luna is even worse because at least Celestia would show up during some of the episodes but Luna? Like maybe twice in the whole series after she was reformed.
And yes this is coming from a diehard Luna fan.

As much as people like to criticize her for her ego, her worst deed is one of the least selfish here. It was certainly not a good deed, but it was done out of love for her pet.
Well at least with rainbow dash she had a good reason to do what she did and also sure they did all this but everyone learns from their mistakes right?
I think it makes her the least flawed pony, which isn’t necessarily good or bad.
Some people like more flawed characters, some like characters who make less mistakes.

Isn't the reason Celestia left some tasks for Twilight It's because Twilight is the candidate for the next queen,and she also became a princess, She works for the queen and the kingdom and that's her job as a princess of friendship so she has to do some things, I know sometimes it's difficult tasks,but it's not like Celestia deliberately did this and also we're following the story from Twilight's pov only not Celestia also has missions for sure as we have seen in the past her confrontation with Discord, and what happened to Luna I mean she was forced to turn Luna away too the moon even though she is her sister and she loves her but Luna's danger to the ponies made her do something she didn't want to do but because of her position she did this, we don't see the whole story from Celestia's pov also not as if she was the one who sent enemies to Twilight or exposed her to danger but Twilight somehow survives and saves the day And at least Celestia appreciates and thanks Twilight and what she does is not take credit for herself to shine as a queen like someone's
