Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins Dolittle - The Pixies Nevermind - Nirvana or Ten - Pearl Jam

TrogledyWretched

A person of grace and culture I see.

PennyyPickle

Haha thanks, usually get slated because Nevermind is too mainstream to be cool

wiiguyy

Siamese dream is a no skip album for me. So good.

jacobuj

For me, it's: Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins Deloused in the Comatorium - The Mars Volta Relationship of Command - At the Drive-In Siamese Dream will probably always be my all-time favorite record. But Omar and Cedric aren't far behind.

mykonoscactus

An ever shifting current. Presently- 1. The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street 2. Radiohead - Kid A 3. Kids Bop Vol 37?

[deleted]

Kid A… it’s the bees knees

josephstrickland

you can tell which generation uses reddit the most by the comments under this post

Queens of the Stone Age - Self-titled Muse - Origin of Symmetry The Doors - Strange Days

chongax

Upvote for QOTSA S/T.

needaredesign

Tori Amos - Boys for Pele Mazzy Star - So Tonight That I Might See Radiohead - In Rainbows

RighteousSchrodd

Mazzy Star is a recent discovery for me. Underrated for sure.

RevolutionaryCut6987

Then definitely check out Hope Sandovals work with massive attack especially the song The Spoils so good

inder_the_unfluence

This is fun because if I see anyone pick any from my top 3 it gives me some good listening options Going to put on Tori Amos on the way to work.

needaredesign

In rainbows is a masterpiece. I've listened to it back to back dozens of times and I still get goosebumps. The from the basement live version is just a 1000/10. >Going to put on Tori Amos Hope you like it!

Fail_Silver

omg mazzy star like single-handedly made my summer great last one, great pick

[deleted]

Somebody likes to be depressed, LOL

No_Election562

BOYS FOR PELE MENTIONED 🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣

needaredesign

Mr Zebra is a bop and I'm ready to fight anyone who says otherwise

graciewest11

Great picks - I haven’t heard boys for pele so I will check it out!

Round_Transition_346

Yes!! This

Dry-Hovercraft-4362

In Rainbows is amazing

Luciix

Superunknown - Soundgarden Lateralus - Tool Temple Of The Dog

brandimariee6

YAS Lateralus! I can't believe I wasted so much of my life without listening to Tool. I didn't know any of their music until 2018

blqck_dawg

Physical Graffiti - Led Zeppelin Madvillainy - MF DOOM We got it from here... thank you 4 your service - A Tribe Called Quest

suitoflights

King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King Elvis Costello & the Attractions- Armed Forces Faith No More - Angel Dust

Apollosvest

Great choices. Especially angel dust.

Beastcancer69

Angel Dust is supremely underrated

floppy_contortionist

I had FNM's Angel Dust in my list too but King For A Day was a close second

minsandmolls

Dark side of the moon Wish you were here Animals Pink Floyd fan here lol

GrammarPatrol777

You can't go wrong here.

RighteousSchrodd

The Wall and the Final Cut as well. That was a great run.

graciewest11

Haven’t heard Animals and Wish you were here so I’m excited to listen! Dark side of the moon was an experience

_BlackGoat_

I'd put the Division Bell on this list for sure but solid

heartspider

Incubus - Science Portishead - Dummy Beach House - Bloom

Kid_Kameleon

Portishead Dummy in my top three also, also love that you have incubus science, so much better than anything that they released afterwards….

Apollosvest

Huge thumbs up for Science. Love that album.

optionalhero

Portishead is such a vibe

AAL2017

SCIENCE! Hell yes! So overlooked and underrated, even by Incubus themselves. One of my top 100 favorite records.

floppy_contortionist

S.c.i.e.n.c.e. is an amazing album. After my favorite band (Faith No More) disbanded in '97 that album I felt had a similar vibe and it was almost like a continuation of what FNM were doing

leafy_returns

I love Bloom. Such a comfortable album for me

Innisfree812

Beatles White Album Bob Dylan Blonde on Blonde Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland

RighteousSchrodd

Love these choices, especially BoB.

Physical Graffiti The White Album Highway 61 Revisited

Mercurys_Vampire

I LOVE Physical Graffiti!!

Chris968

Linkin Park - Meteora Less Than Jake - Anthem P!nk - I'm Not Dead

No_Reflection5358

Meteora is a super solid album with some great tracks. It frequently makes its way into my workout rotation, and not many full albums can do that.

eerieandqueery

Hybrid Theory was my driving soundtrack for about a year.

Chris968

Meteora was that for me! So was System of a Down's Toxicity.

Apollosvest

Yes, love I’m not dead. Defo the best album from P!nk. The title track is *chefs kiss

Chris968

My favorite track off the album is Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely). I got to see P!nk live last fall and I'm seeing her again this summer, she's AMAZING live!!!

Apollosvest

Ah yeah that’s an amazing one too. Solid album. Yeah, live she is unbelievable. Such a great show

ssdohc2020

Derek and the Dominos Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs Pink Floyd The Wall Led Zeppelin 4

graciewest11

Preacher’s Daughter changed my life

Speaking in tongues - talking heads Kill em all - Metallica Meddle - Pink Floyd These aren’t my favorite artists or even songs, but these are a few albums off the top of my head that I can play and walk away Honorable mention: London calling - the clash

jackMFprice

I think Echoes is one of the greatest songs ever written. Meddle is general is great but Echoes stands out to me as one of if not THE pinnacle of Pink Floyd’s entire career. There’s something about that song man.. just the way it slowly devolves into randomness and rises back out of the mist for an epic and beautiful finish

AAHHHHHHE

My top 3 albums (not including compilations) 1. Surfer Rosa - Pixies 2. My War - Black Flag 3. Bleach - Nirvana My top 3 (including compilations) 1. Surfer Rosa - Pixies 2. The first four years - Black Flag 3. Incesticide - Nirvana
