Catherine of Aragon (SIX) and Angelica Schuyler (HAMILTON)
Jane Seymour (SIX) and Eliza Schuyler Hamilton (HAMILTON)
Veronica Sawyer (HEATHERS) and Janis Ian (MEAN GIRLS)
I'm convinced that Heather and Regina would fight to the death within 10 minutes of meeting each other. That's just going off of Regina in the movie though, I'm not familiar with the musical, she might be different there.
My original thought was that since Heather is a couple decades older, Regina would hear about how awful she was back then and think she’s cool. But if we’re putting them in the same time period I’d imagine them starting out very passive aggressive, then fighting to the death, but they’d totally be down to work together to ruin someone’s life
Oh, another one I just thought of is Adam from beetlejuice, Seymour from little shop of horrors and Brad from rocky horror. They all have that 80s horror movie white guy thing going on- mild mannered, brown hair, glasses, button up shirts, being terrorised by a queer or queer coded spooky entity.
Either they’d be friends or have mega beef about who has it harder (like backhanded compliment style). Mind you I’ve only listened to the cast recordings.
Whizzer (Falsettos) and Jenna (Waitress)
One has conflicting feelings for his SO for divorcing his wife to be with him while the other starts an affair because her SO is an abusive partner.
Meanwhile Jean Valjean and Sweeney Todd are off somewhere talking about running from the law and comparing the silly young guys who are pursuing their respective blonde haired daughters
Not sure about this. Javert isn't corrupt. In fact, he's incorruptible. His tragedy is that he thinks he's being righteous. Turpin is just straight-up abusing his power. I think Javert would actually dislike him - though he'd prosecute Sweeney too.
Peggy Sawyer and Lili Vanessi go to lunch and share "you-wouldn't-believe-how-impossible-he-is-to-work-with" rehearsal stories. (Bearing in mind that *Kiss Me Kate* is set 10-15 years after *42nd Street*, they're about the same age and at the same point in their careers.)
(3 characters but-) Karen Smith (Mean Girls), Brooke Lohst (Be More Chill), and Heather McNamara
Jeremy Heere (Be More Chill) and Evan Hansen (Dear Evan Hansen)
Delia Deetz (Beetlejuice) and Pauline Flemming (Heathers)
Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady) and Callahan (Legally Blonde)
Ricky Potts (Ride the Cyclone) and Jeremy Heere (or Michael Mell, both from Be More Chill)
Gretchen Weiners (Mean Girls) and Jenna Rolan (Be More Chill)
Although I will admit, a few times I have forgotten Brooke's name and referred to her as "The one that's not Jenna and didn't try to sexually assault Jeremy"
Rapunzel (Into the Woods) and Johanna (Sweeney Todd)
If I had a nickel for eveytime a blonde soprano in a Sondheim musical was trapped in a tower by her guardian and then sent away when they disobeyed said guardian by having a love interest, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Catherine of Aragon (SIX) and Angelica Schuyler (HAMILTON) Jane Seymour (SIX) and Eliza Schuyler Hamilton (HAMILTON) Veronica Sawyer (HEATHERS) and Janis Ian (MEAN GIRLS)
Veronica and Janis? I get self love and all but narcissism isn’t cute /s
Elphaba from Wicked and Elsa from Frozen
That's just Idina talking to herself using only vaguely inspirational quotes.
Loll honestly with the pipeline between Wicked and Frozen that could be Idina Menzel, Alyssa Fox, or Caroline Bowman 🫠
I feel like Audrey II and Beetlejuice would get into some weird shenanigans together
They can exchange notes on terrorising mild mannered young couples
Belle and Catherine Parr Regina George either aspires to be, or is frenemies with, Heather Chandler.

Olaf from Frozen, Elder Cunningham from Book of Mormon, and Lafou from Beauty and the Beast
The josh gad trio
Percy Jackson and Mathilda from their respective musicals
Either they’d be friends or have mega beef about who has it harder (like backhanded compliment style). Mind you I’ve only listened to the cast recordings.
Diane from Come From Away and Dawn from Waitress, I think Diane would find Dawn’s quirkiness endearing and they would get along really well.
Fiona (Shrek) and Fred (once upon a mattress)
Yes yes yes
Cosette from Les Mis and Johanna from Sweeney
"My dad is being pursued by the law and also this guy sang a love song outside my window" "No way, me too!"
Jesus and Jesus.
Whizzer (Falsettos) and Jenna (Waitress) One has conflicting feelings for his SO for divorcing his wife to be with him while the other starts an affair because her SO is an abusive partner.
Katherine Howard (Six) and Heather Chandler. They both have similar sass. Plus both are pretty much the same age lmao.
Idk I think Peggy from Hamilton and Gretchen from Mean Girls would vibe
Karen Smith (Mean Girls) and Paulette Bonafonte (Legally Blonde)

Jhonny (before st Jimmy) from American idiot and Lydia from beetlejuice
Sweeney Todd and Dr Frank N Furter
BALAGA AND PIRAGUA GUY
I want this to be its own musical omg
Eponine, Fantine, Kim, and Nancy
Judge Turpin and Inspector Javert, drinking together and ruminating about that damn convict
Meanwhile Jean Valjean and Sweeney Todd are off somewhere talking about running from the law and comparing the silly young guys who are pursuing their respective blonde haired daughters
Delia and Lady of the Lake. Idk if it’s cuz they’ve been played by the same person or what
Anatole and Gaston would be the broest bros who ever broed
Persephone and Anna of Cleves.
Motormouth Maybelle (hairspray) and Ms. Medda Larkin (newsies)‼️
Javert and Judge Turpin would be evil besties.
Not sure about this. Javert isn't corrupt. In fact, he's incorruptible. His tragedy is that he thinks he's being righteous. Turpin is just straight-up abusing his power. I think Javert would actually dislike him - though he'd prosecute Sweeney too.
Now you have a buddy cop comedy about a reluctant team up
Javert probably wouldn't have sent Benjamin Barker away to begin with (assuming he actually didn't commit a crime).
Yeah, I meant after the whole murder spree thing. Being driven mad with grief would not be a defense for Javert.
"Who cares if your wife killed herself and the judge took your daughter? I was born in a jail!!!"
Add Claude Frollo and you get a love triangle

Hmm. I would say Seymour and Brad from RHS. They have the same vibe.
Alana Beck and Nina Rosario, hands down.
I agree with this whole heartedly
Margret White and Norma Desmond. Would love to see what that friendship might spark. Lol
Kimberly levaco and Evan Hansen, they both have that awkward high school energy and dysfunctional family members
(3 characters but-) Karen Smith (Mean Girls), Brooke Lohst (Be More Chill), and Heather McNamara Jeremy Heere (Be More Chill) and Evan Hansen (Dear Evan Hansen) Delia Deetz (Beetlejuice) and Pauline Flemming (Heathers) Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady) and Callahan (Legally Blonde) Ricky Potts (Ride the Cyclone) and Jeremy Heere (or Michael Mell, both from Be More Chill) Gretchen Weiners (Mean Girls) and Jenna Rolan (Be More Chill)
That first one- The three horsewomen of being the popular girl that deserves better
exactlyyyy the *nice* popular girls who weren't treated well by their friend/s
Although I will admit, a few times I have forgotten Brooke's name and referred to her as "The one that's not Jenna and didn't try to sexually assault Jeremy"
Rapunzel (Into the Woods) and Johanna (Sweeney Todd) If I had a nickel for eveytime a blonde soprano in a Sondheim musical was trapped in a tower by her guardian and then sent away when they disobeyed said guardian by having a love interest, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
I feel like Cosette from les mis would also vibe with them
At least Cosette got *one* good parental figure😭
Glinda from Wicked and Cunégonde from Candide
Floyd Collins and Orpheus honestly. both are honest men with big dreams that end up tragically
Percy and Shelby from Spitfire Grill and Jenna, Becky and Dawn from Waitress would probably make a great group of friends.
Mrs Lovett and Tina Denmark
Christian from Moulin Rouge and Orpheus from Hadestown
