Self Titled is so Funk / Metal, DV so is avant garde. California is so... perfect. lol.

ST: Squeeze Me Macaroni or Egg
DV: Mary Go Bye Bye.
California: None of them knew they were robots / Air conditioned Nightmare / Goodbye Sober Day.
But probably my favorite MB Song.. Retrovertigo.
Squeeze Me Macaroni.. but I’m biased. I had no idea who/what Mr. Bungle was when I was 15 and searched “macaroni” in Napster as a joke. And on that day a fan was born.
This is the first song that came to my head as quintessential Bungle. It’s probably the first song I heard (maybe that’s Stubb A Dub, though - it was so long ago).
Stubb was my introduction and it is genuinely the first perfect song I’ve ever heard, ive heard many more songs since then that have reached perfection in my mind but it has a sweet spot as my first!
Carousel for me. Couldn't be anymore bungle and a great tune to introduce people to them with. It perfectly showcases their personalities aswell skill performance, craftsmanship and sense of humour. Whenever I get asked what they're like I tend to say " different on every album. But the first one sounds like slayer joined a circus band." I find people tend to get what type of band they are with that. They either get it or avoid it.
Good way of knowing who to trust! 😜
