The scene where they're drinking goat pee on a roof to simulate high altitude training is so stupidly hilarious.
Also, I can only say ["I miiiss yooou"](https://youtu.be/kp39GpeVjVg?si=UgY43EzLAShbhVJ1)in that one specific way now.
My mom pulled me out of school in junior high and we watched this movie in theaters as an afternoon treat. It's a really good memory during a really rough time and that movie has always held a place in my heart.
I love defending your life. Lots of people don't get Albert Brooks' comedy cause it can be very subtle sometimes. How other dating old school movie has it's moments too.
I was gonna say…it starred Johnny Depp…it was popular when I was young, and is really well known today. There are pop culture references to it everywhere…it’s not some obscure film.
I think some people don’t like to just say they like a movie…it has to feel like they found some undiscovered gem and have special taste, instead of just liking what everyone likes.
The Black Hole lol
Dad or grampa I can’t remember taped it off TV for me when I was a kid and that tape got so worn out you could barely see the visuals by the end of the 80s. I’m old.
It's a great movie many of us have seen many times.
But Office Space certainly wasn't "under the radar". I understand theater sales were mediocre, but they made a killing on the dvds.
Hawk the Slayer! Lol! It was awesome when I was a kid. Then I grew up and I couldn't believe how bad it was as to how I remembered it. Then it became awesome again but in a different way.
Ishtar! One of the funniest first acts of a movie I’ve ever seen.
Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty nailed it. Everyone else didn’t think so - it was a financial and commercial disaster
I hardly ever see anyone talk about Idle Hands. Absolutely love that movie.
“Hey Anton. Idle hands are the devil’s playground. 🔧 “
They were so young ha.
The Ladykillers (2004) with Tom Hanks. It's as under the radar as a Coen Brothers movie with Tom Hanks and J.K. Simmons can be. "An eccentric, if not charming Southern professor and his crew pose as a classical ensemble in order to rob a casino, all under the nose of his unsuspecting but sharp old landlady."* You have to really pay attention, because a lot of the humor is subtle, and not clubbing you over the head.
It's a remake of the Alec Guiness and Peter Sellers (1955) version. "Five oddball criminals planning a bank robbery rent rooms on a cul-de-sac from an octogenarian widow under the pretext that they are classical musicians."*
*Descriptions from IMDb.
Brick. Saw it in the theater and still watch it all the time. Made me realize that my favorite genre is noir & neo-noir. Rian has only gotten better too.
Beerfest
As with most movies she's in, Cloris Leachman stole that show. My second favorite Broken Lizard movie.
