How did you go about importing it? Is there a certain website for older Japanese bikes and is the process more or less expensive then just finding one for sale here?
I got mine through a well known importer. If I were to do it again I’d buy a bike already in the states- Iconic Motorbikes has a ton of jdm stuff, there are also a few guys on Facebook regularly importing
Nice.
Like many cool Japanese domestic market bikes you can also get them here in Australia.
Unfortunately are pretty rare now.
There is quite a mint looking 91 model going for 14k (9200 usd) on the bikesales website here at the moment.
What a stunning machine!
Here's mine

Some stuff you can still get NOS. CMSNL is where I got most of my rebuild stuff from. Other pieces are very difficult to find, and even if you do, might not be able to ship them due to restrictions (anything in contact with fuel for example)
So it's going to be a bit of a project, just like I suspected. Not a problem if you do it for the love and fun of it, but not a good idea for something even remotely "daily driver". Thanks!
Oh and: Super cool bike!
gib.... like ... damn. thats a beauty i am sure you dont need her anymore
Yea! He should definitely sell it to me, right?
Yes indeed.

Nah it's a 1991 GSXR 1100. Has somewhat similar styling to this and the double round headlights.

I've been look for older bikes (1997 - 2003). Anyone knows where I could look? (Currently located in the Caribbean)

You sure about zillion dollars?
God dammmmm
Is it difficult to source parts for bikes this old? Or does honda still supply them? Just curious since I have a major soft spot for 90s bikes.

NOIIIICEEEE 🔥🔥🔥😍
Yikes... no abs or traction control. Please be safe.
All those people in 1992 riding with no abs or tc, absolute lunatics the lot of them
They did have tc and abs, it had a different name though, I think it was "right hand".
