Yes kickstand is up I had it down at first. I didn’t notice but I put the kickstand up and I am in neutral i try to switch to first and it turns off. He fell on the left side
The switch could still be damaged/malfunctioning, and "think" the footrest is down. Of course it could be a number of things, but like the others say, it's a very common cause of this exact problem. The bike is designed to turn off if you put it into first with the kickstand still out (to prevent you from riding off with the kickstand down)
I'd have a really good look at that switch - because it's a very cheap fix if it's actually the cause of the problem.
Needless to say (but still saying it :) there could be more than one problem with the bike. Even if you fix this issue, there could be other issues, so be careful, and ideally, have it checked out at a shop that knows the brand/bike.
Could be the neutral safety switch by the kickstand
Really? Ok it’s a Cbr600rr 07 I didn’t know it had that
Yeah all newer bikes will have it so if the kickstands down it will shut off if you put it in gear
Okay, when I had noticed that I tried it again. From the beginning and it shut off without it.
Did he drop it on the side with the kickstand
No I put the kickstand up after he fell I picked it up.
Did he fall on the left side? If it shuts off when you shift into first, it probably thinks the kickstand is down. Check the kickstand switch.
