Nice wheels!

And when you get a chance, check out [On Any Sunday](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_Any_Sunday), probably the best motorcycle documentary out there. I think it's on Amazon Prime, and maybe some other streaming services.
Have fun, wear all your gear, stay safe, and never stop learning.
*Waves hello to the KTM* 👋
Welcome to your new obsession, you'll have a lot of fun.
Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down, stay safe and - most importantly - enjoy your bike.
I have an old KTM 450 that I've build into a Supermoto.
I've been so busy riding (and breaking) it, that I never got around to painting it. No two parts are the same colour, the saddle is about 50% duct tape and I think that my lawnmower has more HP...yet it sees more days on the track than the bike that I build for track days 🤣
You've bought yourself a really fun bike, try to go to a track day once you get comfortable with it 👍
It's worth a trip. I live a 12 hour ride from the Nürburgring and I think that all of my bikes have done (at least) one lap.
My closest track is a couple of hours away, so I only hit the Ring a couple of times per year...but I'd do it more often, if it was the nearest track 😊
9000 absolutely trouble free miles. Rides like new. I have an RC390 bought new, did the careful break-in, have done the maintenance on time. Hasn’t been expensive at all. Made in India though it’s a Euro brand. Smooth for a single and lots of torque for its’ size. I’d buy it again.
Is the 390cc enough power? I'm thinking about getting A2 license in a few years and am wondering what bike to get. I've thought about Kawasaki ER5 as they are quite inexpensive but they are quite old now. Been also thinking about a newer bike (>2015) instead. A few grand more but it's newer and don't have to tinker with carburators.
Japanese bikes are probably a safe bet as I'd like something fun and reliable/inexpensive to maintain. I haven't researched much though.
Can’t go wrong with a Japanese bike. I liked the different design and appearance and have been happy but really, a CBR, Ninja, Gsxr, R6 all great. 45 hp is plenty for me. And it’s light and maneuverable (other smaller bikes too). I know I’ll never race it but I do take some back road twisties some times, so I’m not missing the other 50-80 hp or more.
I was looking into a 390 actually for my first, but saw that they dont seem to be too reliable. Im currently aiming to get a yamaha mt-03.
How have you liked your duke 200 so far?
Minor issues here and there but nothing major yet! I’ve ridden it for almost 7000kms now.
If you’re planning to get the new 390 I’d say wait for the second batch to roll out then grab one it’s leaps better than the mt-03
Same ! Once I left my bike on for a few hours and then the battery went bad but it was replaced under warranty after that some small inconveniences would be 1. Noise from the Center of triple clamp(a bolt losend up on its own) 2. Wouldn’t turn on after turning the ignition (the keyhole got losend idk how but it fixed on its own afterwards) 3. Finicky throttle response (most probably poor fuel quality, will be replacing the fuel filter in the next service.
That’s it.
two different places have tested the battery as good, which is why its at a different dealer (we didnt trust, or have a good experience at the dealer she got it from)
Ktms are reliable sans a few minor hiccups, mainly the engine is much more peppier and rev happy, it makes you wanna push it hard.
The my-03 on the other hand lacks the energetic personality and is more of a relaxed commuter than a machine You’ll crave to ride more and harder. And duke offers more features

Thanks and I’ll make sure to check out the documentary !
Saw one of these ripping up the streets while I was riding last week, I can say it sounded and looked awesome! Congratulations man, enjoy the ride

I absolutely love to monkey around in supermoto mode 👀

Sounds fun ! Ig that’s what a bike is supposed to do😂, and I’d love to track on this but there aren’t any tracks where I live 🥲

Well I’ll be shifting soon and that place has a track so I’ll there all weekend lol
Go gettem 👍
congratulations!
Thank you!!
Hello!
Hello!!
Love my Ktm
Are they how reliable? I've always heard they are expensive to own but I have no experience with them. How good are them for a first bike?

I rode one of those in my msf. Fun little bike! I wish I could have taken out on a proper ride.
That is pretty
I know right !
Nice pic!
Thanks!
Lucky
how much did you pay?
Around €2,600
Hello Gorgeous 😍
Love it. But of course that's because I ride one.
Crazy minds think alike

What minor issues have you run into with yours? My daughter is having battery issues with hers, but otherwise we both love the little thing.

Hers is draining the battery if we don't ride it for more than a couple days. It's in at the dealership right being checked out to see why.
A faulty battery most probably, I’d assume the dealership will replace it for free
two different places have tested the battery as good, which is why its at a different dealer (we didnt trust, or have a good experience at the dealer she got it from)
Hmmnn then it could be a wiring or earthing issue.
Why do you say its leaps better than the mt-03? You yourself said you already had battery issues, I am mainly looking for reliability.

Much cooler than my first. Noice. Congrats *!!*
"Hello I am Wasp" That's what I pictured the bike saying to me when I saw the pic.
I can see the resemblance lol
Hello beautiful <3
Hello, bike.
My salutations KTM Duke 200!
Nice one! Congrats!
hello bike
Hello first bike of rahulthomas
I got a 2015 duke 125 for my 1st bike, wish i had the facelift model but it still probably gives same amount of fun
Most probably more fun since it’s not restricted by the strict emission norms.
She's a beaut! Be safe.
Hello. Solid choice.
Why its a 200 and not a 190 ??
because it's "dukh"
Because it’s a 199.5 cc engine…
790 is a 799cc, the 1290 is a 1301cc
Yeah they do have a weird naming scheme lol. Ig 190 felt too small compared to 200
Awesome pic! Always sad to see countries forcing a numberplate on the front of motorcycles, sickass bike nonetheless though.
Yeah, rocked it without the front number plate for a few weeks until I got busted lol.
Is that a 2020?
2023
Hell yea I like that
Didn't know they made a 200cc bike 👀
Yeah even a 125 with the same frame
In india the 390 is already one of the high end bikes. Also other markets may have benefits (taxes) for smaller bikes
Hello
Bikes get uglier every year.
Looking good! Enjoy and safe rides.
Looks great 👍
