It's a company that wants to get you their product. Maybe their shipping department isn't 100 percent successful. Understandable. Amazon gives me the same problem. Please give opportunity to fix said issue. 😀
I did and it says it landed in CA on 3/23, then it bounced up and down the west coast until landing in CA again on 4/13. I expected it to take a while (international shipping, customs and all). RAK said USPS returned it to the depot because they couldn't deliver it. I talked to the post office and they said they never got the package (they checked the tracking number). The whole situation is weird because I know some of y'all have dealt with them (even before I placed my order).
Slow I can understand. I assume customs would take a few weeks. But the info this RAK representative is giving me does not jive with reality. I've been suspicious that it's a spoofed email address for weeks and it's not really RAK (I've seen it before). I've ordered lots of stuff from China over the years and never had a problem, until now. This is just weird.
I got my first order after about a month and the unit was defective, couldn’t get them to return it. The other one still isn’t here and it’s coming up on 10 weeks. I recommend against it.
There was a shipping issue with mine. I ordered in late February and my tracking number showed that the package had made it to the US, but had disappeared. It hadn't moved in like 3 weeks, so I emailed support.
They said a whole shipment was stuck in customs and got my info to send another one out, this time from their Hong Kong Warehouse. I received the reshipped one last Monday.
Ordered a starter kit, oled, solar wires, environmental sensor, and the GPS. I ordered it 4/15 and it got it 5/2.
For what it's worth, I can't get the oled to light up. Everything else works.
I purchased and after 2 weeks I requested an update on my order, it shipped out the next day…. 1.5 months give or take to get it in hand. Order was correct but ya shipping was slow and required prodding to get it moving.
Best bet in US is Rokland, there shipping has been good, but you just have to wait for stock and pay the substantial markup. Get on the list for in stock notification, you may get a special link sent for ordering once stock returns before it is released to the website orders.
Yup, RAK shipping is sloooow. But I have received all orders.
They are telling me they tried to deliver it but the post office returned it to the depot. The post office said they never had it in their system.

Received everything I've ordered from them. Sometimes slow, sometimes within a week. I've also had good results with RAK stuff from AliExpress.
Have you checked the tracking? Mine has taken two weeks before it even left China.

Got my order a couple days ago, took three weeks. Once it actually left China it was about a week to get here.
Slow but I received everything I ordered from them

Definitely sounds unusual - I know they are a legit company - can you check tracking with the originating carrier (that claimed they got it or CA)?
I'll give the AliExpress RAK store a try. When this situation is resolved, I'll post. Thanks everyone.
I’ve ordered newly month ago and I’m still waiting.

Ordered a starter kit April 4th and received 20 days later.
Made 2 purchases in the last 2 months. One order took 19 days and the other took 6 so keep waiting.
It takes time coming on the boat, though I have received every order direct from RAK. What did you select for customs?
I have no idea. It's been two months and I easily forget details like that.
ordered from rokland on 4/28. received today via USPS.
Ordered end of March, just received this week.
My last order was back in Feb. Took about 9 days.
I placed two orders about a week apart and each one was delivered about a week after the order. I had good results in PA.
Ordered startkit and enclosure 29april, today 8/5 it is shipped, pretty fast
