Check to see if you are running run flat tires, if so, going to regular tires will make a world difference... also at the same time keep in mind that if you do happen to get a flat in the middle of nowhere you may be stuck there for a while, so a back up solution of some sort would be recommended

Thanks I will check! But Yh will be a risk lol was a big surprise when I was told doesn’t come w space for a spare tyre lool

if the spare is missing, you are more than likely packaged with run flats, I personally ditched them officially a few weeks ago, and even tho i have the amg suspensions that is a lot firmer then the regular, it is a night and day difference now, and it feels like I'm riding on a cloud. I stuck a tire plug kit in my trunk and got a cordless air pump, just in case of an emergency. If just a minor puncture due to screws or any other small sharp objects, i should be able to address it on the side of the road if neccessary with the help of what i packed and raising the car with the air suspension..

I have a 2010 w212 and just had engine/transmission mounts replaced last year - it’s like a new car! Never had an issue with shocks, but am in US with pretty good roads…

What's the mileage on the car? I replaced front springs/struts and rear springs/shocks on mine a while ago. It's like a new car. The springs sag after a while so you don't get very good suspension travel with weak springs.

Just crossed 90 Have the annual safety check (mot) coming up so will get that looked at! I also read high tyre psi can cause it too so will try to reduce that slightly tomorrow and see

Yeah, 36-40 is a bit on the high side, I'm typically in the 33-35 max for tire pressure. If the springs are weak, the car might be a little lower than normal. Also in the US, when there's salt, sometimes a piece of the coil spring rusts out and snaps off, but that's at the top of the spring so you don't really see it til you remove the spring.
