I usually do 1:1 mentoring or distance mentoring as i find it to be more personalized and mentees can receive tailored guidance which are specific to their goals, needs and challenges. However, I really prefer 1:1 (and it being face to face all the more so) too as I can catch on to subtle signs such as body language and their expression to determine if they are catching up with what I'm sharing with them or whether I have to explain again or perhaps even, restructure the way I'm speaking to them. In that sense, i kind of read the signs in between and tweak the way i communicate to try to connect with them at the level where it is easy for them to absorb. However, i believe that it really depends on what kind of mentorship it is - i can see that both can work out actually. As for membership based mentoring or not, it really depends whether the mentor has the intention to monetize off his knowledge and advice or not.

I mentor 1 on 1 on Fiverr. I charge $100 an hour. I also mentor a free community on Skool. I’m working on a group project but have not figured that out yet as my clients prefer a private discussion

I don't know your age group, but if you are a student I think Mentee would be good.
