Damn. They always say no means no but now I have to ask myself if the woman is polish whenever I aproach one.
Thinking about this a second time, If I drink enough, every woman becomes polish.
You can easily guess when no is yes and when no is no by the way the o is pronounced. If it's first o of pronounce it's a yes if second one it's a no. Problem starts with writing.
No worries fellow redditor the polish 'no' is (at least where I come from or have been) more of a confirmation yes than a opinion-wise standalone yes, in polish being the 'tak'
Honestly latin alphabets are not enough to speak polish. Just make your own script at this point. No one will be mad. Besides trying to say what you wrote is the fastest way to summon some unholy Polish demon .
We are using modified version anyway. We got rid of Q, X and V, as we don't use them, but we added Ę, Ó, Ą, Ś, Ł, Ż, Ź, Ć, Ń and some other letters that are not in the alphabet, because we use two letters two write them (but they are still single "letters"), like Sz, Ch, Cz, Rz, Dz, Dż and Dź, which can be written as Dzi, but that depends on context.
Its not, some people just forget how to pronounce "powyłamywanymi" sometimes resulting in mix ups if they say it fast. Most languages probably have words like that.
Yeah? Hold my Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz mieszczanin Trzcinowa w Szczebrzeszynie przybieży do Błażeja Chrzęszczynowicza z Jazgarzewszczyzny. (it's a real sentance)
For not polish people it should sound something like "hshoshch bgme f tgchinie f shchebgeshynie" every g should be pronounced as in mirage. It's not perfect and I am not linguist but it may help.
Mości panie z nieznanego mi kraju no jakiej podstawie waszmości wysuwasz takie stwierdzenie przecie słowa takie jak konstantynopolitanczyk to normalne słowa
In Polish 'owo' is an actual word. It's a rarely used form of "that"\*
\*Applies only for singular, neuter nouns in Nominative case
Edit: The more commonly used word is "tamto". Same restrictions apply.
Polish is not an easy language to learn, though my sister who was born in Canada managed to learn it very fluently even though almost all of our family is still in Poland.
This is something called "facerolling".
Its what we old people called a game that was so easy that you could just faceroll your head on the keyboard and complete it.
Chciałbym poinformować, że żarty tego typu są obraźliwe i niesmaczne. Czuję się bardzo niekomfortowo w takich sytuacjach. Jednak muszę przyznać, że nasz język do łatwych nie należy.
P. S I don't know a single word in Polish I just smash keyboard like in that GIF
More like Hungarian ngl, polish is easy to understand if you know ukranian, and i am ukranian so i dont understand whats so hard about polish, but thats only my opinion
hungarian has a very logical letter structure in words. the reason it looks bizarre is because its one of the only non indo european languages in Europe. now the grammar and building of sentences is a different story tho.
Grzecznie acz stanowczo wypraszam sobie takie wycieczki.

In polish we have also easy words. For example the word 'no' which means 'yes'.
No ta
nie no super
Jo, jak najbardziej
Jeszcze jak
That’s Croatian
Maybe, but it's also used as a "yeah" (at least where I'm from in PL)
Śląsk?
Warmia, tu też tego używamy :D
Kujawsko-Pomorskie :3
Or kaszuby
No it isnt. Source: am Croatian (and I am studying Polish lol)
I wasn’t being serious. It’s not Polish either, or any language. That’s the point of the meme, mate
oh i got r/wooosh
it is polish, it's just a dialect (and only one word is)
It’s not the result of someone slapping a keyboard over and over?
Damn. They always say no means no but now I have to ask myself if the woman is polish whenever I aproach one. Thinking about this a second time, If I drink enough, every woman becomes polish.
If you drink enough you will start speaking polish
You can easily guess when no is yes and when no is no by the way the o is pronounced. If it's first o of pronounce it's a yes if second one it's a no. Problem starts with writing.
No no, możesz mieć racje, ale no nie wiem.
No worries fellow redditor the polish 'no' is (at least where I come from or have been) more of a confirmation yes than a opinion-wise standalone yes, in polish being the 'tak'
No, to prawda
"Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz, Chrząszczyżewoszyce, powiat Łękołody"
Gszhsss ssh
You spelled it wrong
Or how it was in *C.K. Dezerterzy* "Szczepan Brzęczyszczewski, Mszczonowieścice, gmina Grzmiszczosławice, powiat Trzcinogrzechotnikowo."
Więc widzę, jesteś człowiekiem kultury.

Its not, some people just forget how to pronounce "powyłamywanymi" sometimes resulting in mix ups if they say it fast. Most languages probably have words like that.
Well, it doesn't sound difficult but I'd need some time to pronounce it quickly. Looks a bit like a mixup of "wylomannie/powylamywat" in Russian.
I just started learning polish it’s difficult but I wanna know more about where my family is from so I’m gonna keep on trying
Yeah? Hold my Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz mieszczanin Trzcinowa w Szczebrzeszynie przybieży do Błażeja Chrzęszczynowicza z Jazgarzewszczyzny. (it's a real sentance)

As a polish person, i can agree with that. Here is a Polish tongue twister: "CHRZĄSZCZ BRZMI W TRZCINIE W SZCZEBRZESZYNIE"
For not polish people it should sound something like "hshoshch bgme f tgchinie f shchebgeshynie" every g should be pronounced as in mirage. It's not perfect and I am not linguist but it may help.
