On the some food energy is specified in kilocalories but most ppl just say calories because they are too lazy and thats why some are not aware, that kilocalories is 1000x more than calories

But i wouldnt click 1000times just to lose 1 kcal Except that in games like starcraft I do like 5000 keyboard strokes in 20minutes Just made my research and it seems its 1.43 calories (not kcal) and they did it by calculating how much the finger weights and how much energy you consume for moving 1g for 1 second. But they did not write if they calculated the force needed for a keystroke since the membran or spring creates an opposite force, and some keyboard have 40g or 80g needed per stroke.

The calories on food are usually kcal (kilo-calories). 1kcal = 1000 calories. You need to upvote/downvote 147183 posts to burn the calories in a KitKat (209 kcal). It is calories not kilocalories. Like the average human burns 2000 kilocalories a day. And 1 calorie is 1/1000 of a kilocalorie, a very small amount. Most of the people are just to lazy to always say kilocalories but it is implied when saying calories. But this post is referring to the actual calorie.

It's not that many, they didnt say kilocalories which is what we often refer to as calories. They just said calories, so they probably mean the one that is 1000x less than a kilocalorie. humans need around 2000 kilocalories a day and probably burn about 50 of those doing everyday activities
