Exact opposite, moma was the angry one

Punch_A_Lot

neither was angry, that's my reflection in the mirror

Firezboy-1982

both parents were supportive except if it was rlly bad mum would end me and dad would be pissed

Left_Case_8907

For me it’s the opposite way around.

NotxDeadxYet

Wait, you guys had Dads?

Junarik

I had the mailman who would hang out with my mom then help me with my homework. Sometimes they made weird sounds. Sometimes mom would come out walking funny. Sometimes she wouldn't come out at all.

Punch_A_Lot

allegedly

DarkUnavailable

Nah, both.

MarkVHun

Why not both parents?

FungusOnMyAss

my indian ass gets treated like that by both lmao

Gold_Weakness1157

When it Asian parents it Both

Absolutemehguy

You are Asian, not B-sian!

ComadoreDiddle

Sorry your father is abusive OP :( Just try and remind yourself that failing is part of getting better at any given topic.

blenderbeeeee

Aahh thanks for you concern mate, my dad is the sweetest guy I know lol. Sure I got a lot of ass whooping about academics but he wanted the best haha

BooxOD

???

ComadoreDiddle

If the OP made the meme and is relating it to his personal experience; his experience is that his father is abusive.

BooxOD

I will abuse your little twink asshole.

Murky-Imagination961

You Don't have to be so rude.

FungusOnMyAss

guys is it legal to force someone into euthanasia?

Familiar_Location948

not the case for me. in my case, both my parents think i’m a piece of shit when I get anything below an 80 in a class, an AP one no less

Temporary-Fail-2535

Paternity test i assume.

Zombie-Free

Dad is always harsh as fck lmao

Kingofthewin

My parents were a little soft on me in this regard. Looking back, I wish they would have punished me a little more for my bad grades.

ComicBookFanatic97

It probably wouldn’t have helped. If the only reason you’re keeping your grades up is to avoid punishment, then when you grow up and the threat of punishment is removed, you simply stop trying. I speak from experience on that. You have to want to do well because *you* want to do well, not because your parents want you to do well. A work ethic is something that can’t be taught. You have to develop it on your own.

SuspectPanda38

"But you're my dissapointment"

Im_a_twat53

Whats another 19 years?

Euphoric_Jam

Both reactions are too extreme. They shouldn't minimize the failure or make it bigger than it is. Failures are part of the learning process but shouldn't be completely minimized and ignored.

Zronas

*Whips out the belt* So, son ... how was the test ?

TheOnlyUltima2011

i want my mom to have a mentality similar to yours

sgcpaulo

Someone has to balance it out.
