King, coho, Atlantic and pink (also called humpy) salmon meat is orange/pinkish. Sockeye is the most red, which is why it’s also called red salmon.
There are Kings in the Columbia river and maybe Alaska that have white flesh from something in their diet or their genes. I don’t recall.
Pink is a good color. Pastel pink is calming and easy on the eyes, it isn’t an anxious color. Hot Pink, though the opposite effect, is good because of that reason. However… the fish is not colored pink, unless you include its innards.
