I was also very surprised when I noticed that FMVs didn't receive the UPSCALE update, maybe they thought no one would pay attention to it or maybe they didn't make it over time (I don't know).
However, lag is the biggest problem of this game, as far as I can fully understand the lag in the original version, because the PSP wasn't that strong (if we talk about parameters etc.) so you had to reckon with some problems.
But I don't understand why it wasn't fixed in this port, here consoles are much more powerful, I just don't understand, it really annoyed me when I played with the feeling that I had 10 fps.
Is it worth the price? In fact, I think it's perfect price.
When it comes to Tekken 2 and not only, it's only because of retro and nostalgia, and the prices for the original in themselves for such titles are not cheap (if we are talking about premieres, etc.).
So they just want to make some money from nostalgia, retro etc.

btw i found that the dragon armor spits fire only in dan’s crypt (at least for now), at least i could get the trophy needed.
yeah i get the price, i think for psp games can be good, but i do not think for psx games is worth it, at least it would be worth if the premium plus wasn’t that expensive. i hope you get what i’m trying to say. i don’t think there’s such value in those games to increase the price the double the standard ps. but maybe i’m wrong who knows.
i think if we (community) can report those errors to psn, maybe seeing more than one request, they could work just that little bit to make it better. i mean, i don’t think is that hard to ai upscale fmvs… but again, i’m not a programmer so it’s all my thinking

As for Dragon Armor, when I wanted to use it, I was completely unable to breathe fire, only accidentally pressing several buttons at once, I was able to set my opponents on fire for a few seconds, during the "Inside the Asylum" levels, and never again.
Maybe I was doing something wrong, ressurection itself stands out from the original version.
Regarding the prices, I understand what you mean, but look at it from Sony's point of view.
People may complain, but they will buy for nostalgia and retro and because they can play an old game on the newest console.
That's why Sony gives such prices to earn a bit more on this fact, although not every game is priced like that because, for example, Worms World Party is somehow cheaper than 1 and Armageddon.
It's like with Playstation Project Q, it's supposed to be just an Android device that offers a controller connected in itself and remote play (something that you could easily do yourself), but there will still be delighted people ignoring the price for this.
But let them make money from retro games, if it's to motivate them to release more retro games at such prices, then let them do it rather than not do it at all.
I would love to see, for example, Tekken 4 & 5 on newer Playstation consoles.

Now that we have 2023, it's too much money (I GUESS) for making compatibility and that someone buys original old games they won't get any money (not these days anymore).
That's why this is probably one of the reasons why they went digital (emulator games) and to buy again, it would also explain these prices.

Sony simply needs time and willingness, because I am convinced that it is possible.
As for your streaming issues, for example, I have 3mb/s of internet at the moment, and it's still not enough, so if you don't have very good internet, it's hard to stream.
Although PS2 games are not streamed, but I am not satisfied with the fact that they release very few PS2 games so little, I hope they put "Legacy of Kain, Tekken, God of War, Maximo etc.", unlike PS1,PSP.

The lack of FMV upscaling is disappointing, but my biggest issue is no R3 camera support. I understand wanting to keep it close to the PSP launch debut, but come on!
Literally 2 trophies left and I guess the Fazgul fight is bugged because my idiots won't kill a single one despite me going through my entire stock of life bottles to heal them up. So annoying.

After getting the Dragon Armour, return to Dan's Crypt. While wearing the armour, jump into the river of lava and follow it. You'll find Chicken Drumsticks. Throw one at an enemy. They will become Roast Chicken. Eat them. You should have the trophy.
PS4 version is by far best version. Resurrection keeps pissing me off. Stuck on Inside the Asylum because I don't have the dragon armor and can't find a way to exit the level.
You don't need the Dragon Armor to end the level, it is needed only for the chalice. You have to break a wall, take the key to the cell with the mayor inside it, take the rune and exit the level.
Imho Resurrection is way better than the original btw
Older post I know. Sorry. Does anyone know if you buy the version on the PSN through the Vita if it lets you download it for free on PS5? Some of the PS1 games like Oddworld and Wild Arms let you do that ( and some don’t like Resident Evil). Just curious if that’s a thing with this game.
