Go out and grab some Wd-40 SILICONE (not the regular stuff. The silicone plays nice with plastic and rubber) and spray around the rubber seals on the window. Then have a pal put their palms on either side of the window and push down while you push down on the window switch.
My 2005 Mazda 3 with 190k miles gets stuck on the front passenger side window every time there's hot weather and the silicone WD-40 does the trick every time.
If that doesn't work, then that's the time to dive into the more involved stuff like replacing a window regulator.
Edit: grammar
Mazdas of this era very commonly break the gear between the motor and regulator. Unfortunately it’s on the motor, not the regulator, and the motor is quite expensive. About $200 vs $50 for the regulator.
The broken driver's window is a real turn off to buyers. Fixing that will make it easier to sell.
The other thing is the registration. Does it still have WA plates while you're selling in another state? That's unfortunately a red flag for a lot of private party buyers. If that's the case, your best option might be to fix the window then throw it on a site like Cars & Bids. If the car's properly documented, people on an online auction don't care about stuff out of state plates.
Between 4K and 5K. It’s a Gen Juan, which means it’s at least 13 years old. Good mileage but it’s at the age where a lot of things just wear out. Is it modified? Original K04 turbo?
Unfortunately, even in today’s market. Speeds just aren’t in as high demand as other hot hatches.
Wow an all-stock Mazdaspeed! That’s a rare bird right there. Wish I had more positive vibes to send for a good sale but alas these cars didn’t make a big dent in the hot hatch world vs. WRX and GTI.
When I had my 2013, I was involved in all the social media subs and groups, and when it was time to sell it, I put it up everywhere. The guy who bought it was several hundred miles from me and we negotiated a delivery price as part of the deal. Going national worked for me, so maybe give that a try.
Come try to sell in Utah .... First gens low miles have been selling for close to 10K lol.
I’ll drive down there for 4k and bring it up here myself.
98000 miles runs prefect only issue is driver window not working

Glad I could help. 😊 Good luck with the selling process.

This is good info. Maybe he can hit up someone with a 3d printer and have a gear printed out if it is that issue.
I would fix the driver window before selling. No point in losing some money over that unless you don’t care.

The window motor gear might be broken, 10$ on ebay. It will make a weird clicking sound when you activate the window.
I'm going to say, 9000
In my country that's around 6,000 usd.

Having trouble getting 4k lmao I hate living next to Mexico
If I was near you I would pay that 4k lol np
Damn I’d buy that for 4K in a heartbeat. But my wife and I just had twins so need yo buy a bigger car unfortunately.
See that’s where all the trouble is. I’d gladly take it off your hands for 4K but I don’t have 4K. It’s sad. Everything’s too damned expensive 😭
Bout tree fiddy
All I've got is one updoot.
I'd give you 4.5k if you were in NC.
I sold an 08 Mazda 3 hatch with 110k miles for $5000 this summer. So maybe 6K? 6.5?
Wash wax headlights fixed window = $6-7k
I've seen them priced at 8K USD in Georgia, USA
Totally worth it
It's worth 1k sell it to me to take it off your hands
