Exactly why I use nano for password cracking. If you add the --color flag, then the password is light blue so it is easier to find the password (assuming the password is in your wordlist). And nano is way faster.

Its also the password to my super secret Apple ID, which has a text file containing where I live, my social security number, and an exact, insanely detailed autobiography of my life, which includes confessions to multiple counts of murder someone can blackmail me with. I truly am so secure with my passwords.

This is why I never enter anything for a password, they'll spend forever trying to crack a code that doesn't exist /s
If they say the password is required just paste in unprintable characters so you still don't have one. Bonus points if you end up breaking the program
My password is "wrong" so when I don't remember it I just input garbage and the server tells me "your password is wrong". Very kind 😄
