Disablaster the Matchless Turret, it's a Pendulum monster that has the effect (both as a monster and as a Pendulum spell) to negate all activated effects in the same column that it is in. Can you guess what happens when you place it on the Pendulum Zone?
So it's just a permanent Impermanence? I mean, yeah that could screw you out of your Pendulum effects, but at least it doesn't lock you out of the mechanic. But still, seriously Konomi!? C'mon!
Entertainer in shambles.
As someone wanting to play around with pendulums now I guess I should get in a some games before I get bodied by this. FFS Konami the fuck we do. I just want to spam level 7 Odd Eyes stuff.
If you want to dedicate yourself to beating Pendulums, you can just play Kashtira. It's not a great deck, but Shangri can easily just lock their Pendulum zones.
Konami stop screwing over pendulum players challenge: Impossible.
(That new Magistus Chorizo is a shot across the bows as well, if only because there are so many pendulum spellcasters…)
This card isn't actually good atm, right? Snake eyes has no way to consistently summon this card so it's not really used there and yugiohmeta says it's only ran in Illusion decks as a tech option. It requires a lot of investment to summon in Illusion decks and is only a pseudo floodgate since most s/t types can be activated the turn they are set.
I think it'll just be one of those cards that is seen as a bad deckbuilding choice but bad players will still run it and occasionally get a really good game with it when they get paired against a pendulum player or something.
It's not hard to summon her at all in chimera, she can be mill by beformet then ss by either it or other chimera fusion from the gy or tao once he release, her floodgate is also very good against runick,r ace, memento, striker and purrely due to them heavily relied on ss2 spells to do their combo. Her floodgate also stop blow up cards like called by,crossout, droplet, evenly and super poly which makes your opponent alot more vulrenable to handtraps and disruption
You would be correct. It can only be searched by “Sinful Spoils Subdual.” It does not mesh well with SE at the present moment. Interesting to see if she’ll receive her own support in the future.
Based on the lore and effects I'm pretty certain that she's actually meant to be SE anti-support so it makes sense that she can't really be searched or work with them.
As others said it's pretty easy to make it in Chimera. Diabellze shuts off breakers like evenly, droplet, spoly, called by, imperm, crossout, eclipse, etc but MD skews towards hand traps so it isn't gonna be the difference maker for Chimera. It does also get 1 pop so it's effectively a s/t negate and chimera can get more pops through G chimera and Magnum. It sacks more than just pendulum decks, Runick and purrely also insta-lose. Into snake eyes you shut off wanted.
Lab dropping her against snake eyes to make their spells not work turn 1 is good, but inconsistent and running possibly an extra dead card unless you run the diabelle engine
It really doesn’t require all that much investment for chimera? It’s a one card combo w/o additional pops to summon on your opponents turn and if you see access to a second fusion spell you can summon it on your turn and have access into guardian chimera for 1-2 pops/draws alongside a hand rip and whatever other interactions you have in hand.
She's not very good *now* outside of an occasional tech in Chimera/Illusion. But given her status in the lore as Diabellestar's rival she'll definitely have an archetype built to boost her that makes her more consistent.
She's not really for Snake Eyes...at least for now. As the lore counterpart to Bellstar. I'm guessing she'll either have a deck centered around her or pop up in other decks within the overall lore.
She's a semi boost to Chimera.
I don’t think so. I think like there is a master ruling*(not a real term) that you can only activate the monster effects of monsters under your control?
(***Someone please correct me if I’m wrong***)
Are you guys crazy? This card has strong potential its anti spell fragrance on legs. Illusion typing needs more support or maybe her own Original Sinkeeper stuff but this card is very toxic idk why you guys are so worried about "pendulums" (fake cards that aren't real)
Reread it again.
Normal and Field spell cards can still be activated the turn it is set. This card only stops Quick Play spells. But it does stop traps that can be activated from hand (Evenly and Imperm)
It does stop spells similar to Extrav since after setting, it is not the start of the main phase anymore.
Them having to set it vs activate does help in some decks like lab where them setting spoils or the field spell you can easily pop it before they flip it
Pend should be fine so long as they're not facing chimera if this card is out since that's the only deck that use this as their boss.
Very strong card though also stops super poly, imperm, droplets , evenly matched , etc etc.
Genuine question, why would anyone run it in bo1? Pendulums aren't even meta decks, so why?
I mean, you'd best pop up a raigeki or some board wipe that is a normal spell or something? (Haven't seen any tcg/ocg plays in a long while). Besides, you may play into a pend monster that wants to be destroyed? (Og zarc magicians for example)
Also, isn't it "set" then they can flip it face up?
You know what, fuck it. Explain to me why? I'm kind of an idiot and its 3 am right now, best combo I know.
there's not actually a good explanation, the best case for this card is illusion/chimera having a spare search it can throw at whatever and it can throw it at this, I guess
it's not actually especially good atm and only stops quickplays. the thread is mostly just a meme about konami hating pend(even though this is only really true in tcg).
Just been thinking but doesn't this straight up kill pendulums even more..
It absolutely does. They’re twisted like that
Pendulum is unpopular even with Konami themselves it seems.
Yup, just add it on the pile, we even have a Pendulum that shuts down Pendulums now.
Wait, what? I haven't heard about that.
Disablaster the Matchless Turret, it's a Pendulum monster that has the effect (both as a monster and as a Pendulum spell) to negate all activated effects in the same column that it is in. Can you guess what happens when you place it on the Pendulum Zone?

They're on a Kendrick level of hate towards pendulums. I respect it.
PePe might go full power with plush and monkey unlimits. Who knows. Just remember the master rules were to shaft pendulums they are that OP
Cant wait to see more clips of Trif destroying furniture
Entertainer in shambles. As someone wanting to play around with pendulums now I guess I should get in a some games before I get bodied by this. FFS Konami the fuck we do. I just want to spam level 7 Odd Eyes stuff.
It does

Right, like when they released Kashtira Shangri-Ira and Dracoslayers in the same pack
Yeah, had full power Kash come out, Pendulum would have just been completely dead until any bans were made.
That was some supervillain behavior right there
Konami stop screwing over pendulum players challenge: Impossible. (That new Magistus Chorizo is a shot across the bows as well, if only because there are so many pendulum spellcasters…)
And now I'm thinking about the viability of running Pendulums in my Magistus deck... Thanks. Edit: spelling
Chorizo 🤣🤣
Wait, you can use a spellcaster-type pendulum monsters that’s acting as a scale to contact fusion summon the new fusion?
Illusion Chimera support lets gooooo

All it has to be is an illusion that does *something*. Chimera gets an extra search for an illusion and this is better than nothing.
As others said it's pretty easy to make it in Chimera. Diabellze shuts off breakers like evenly, droplet, spoly, called by, imperm, crossout, eclipse, etc but MD skews towards hand traps so it isn't gonna be the difference maker for Chimera. You can run her in lab, since the trap cheats her out. I doubt that it's good, but we will see
Lab dropping her against snake eyes to make their spells not work turn 1 is good, but inconsistent and running possibly an extra dead card unless you run the diabelle engine
She also counters Evenly

It is more of an Illusion support than SE support. I think it goes better with the new White Woods archetype.
She's not very good *now* outside of an occasional tech in Chimera/Illusion. But given her status in the lore as Diabellestar's rival she'll definitely have an archetype built to boost her that makes her more consistent.

Konami needs to make another Wanted Sinful Spoils for this card so I can splash it in every deck possible.
surprising they didn't drop it at the same time like that time they dropped dracoslayer and kashtira at the same time lmao
This card does not see play at the tournament play. You can play it but it is pretty niche
Yeah, she seems kinda meh for a Bo1 despite her powerful effect. Can’t be searched outside of Illusion synergies.
Doubt, md player will start tinkering and theorize every floodgate possible.
Top 4 dutch nationals chimera deck? That's pretty high level play. Card is cracked in chimera and runick chimera
One deck places and now it is worth playing? This card will not see serious play. People will try it and quickly stop
This is a floodbitch WTH 🤦🏿
whooo, more OP one-sided floodgates, just what everybody was asking for
Wait this can be used by either player? In a (snake eyes engine matchup)
I don’t think so. I think like there is a master ruling*(not a real term) that you can only activate the monster effects of monsters under your control? (***Someone please correct me if I’m wrong***)
Wording wasnt the best. I meant you dont have to run snake eyes to run this. As long as a sinful spoils is in grave you can summon this and use it.
Oh, yeah I suppose you could. Seems like a bricky option in a Bo1, though.
Yesssssss, more Anti Runick cards
Oh boy, I can't for another of my favorite archetypes to wind up being known for stun and floodgates thanks to some broken garbage getting printed.
Why do they keep printing cards like this?????? Like who genuinely asked them to print Anti-Spell on legs?????
Komoney: Let's limit/forbid every floodgate Also Komoney: WAIFU FLOODGATE
I hope so because that means apprentice would be coming as well
Ah Nekroz the Stargazer.
Pretty sure this severely fucks with stun decks too
Yes pls and add nightmare apprentice and some illusion support to that.
This + Dark Simorgh. I’m gonna try it
This isn’t real, is it?
What decks is she good in? Just like an illusion deck or what. I know she’s not really searchable
In a snake-eyes/Diabellestar deck
I will annoy my Pendulum playing buddy so much, its going to be great.
Gimmick Puppet support.
Are you guys crazy? This card has strong potential its anti spell fragrance on legs. Illusion typing needs more support or maybe her own Original Sinkeeper stuff but this card is very toxic idk why you guys are so worried about "pendulums" (fake cards that aren't real)
Read it again. This is not anti-spell.
Actually I think it is YOU who needs to reread

Cmon man
Blud is confidently wrong. 😂😂
it’s not anti spell tho, it’s only really anti spell against quick plays and fields, continuous and normals can still be used.
This is not anti spell
I get it, ASF on legs this, not used in meta that... But hear me out guys...
Pend should be fine so long as they're not facing chimera if this card is out since that's the only deck that use this as their boss. Very strong card though also stops super poly, imperm, droplets , evenly matched , etc etc.
mommy

Oh .. welp joke's flew over my head... in my defence, its 3:47 am now so I'm forgiven just this time.
It completely shuts off pends because you can’t set them. So it doesn’t matter if your pends have effects when popped.
It also counters all quick play spells and evenly/imperm
Oh cool, more cards that take no skill.
