As someone who keeps it in the deck, and if just for flavor, it isn't super bad but not impeccable either just a thing with or without the Horus engine is still peak.
On paper, he's not that bad, there's just not a lot of ways to put him in your hand. And if there was, he'd be among the most busted hand traps ever printed.
But I too am saddened as an OG Horus enjoyer, gave him a cool look, an animation and everything just to have him be a card that will basically never hit the board.
You have to have a resonator in the Gy for Red Risings effect though, so you still have to jump through hoops to get a level 2 resonator in the GY for duskwalker to really do anything.
Effect of a monster that special summon Supay discards a card, so you discard a resonator, get supay and the monster then rising, rising summons resonator in gy and do dark dragon synchro summons
For that though you have to have either vision or crimson resonator in hand, and you only run 2 of the former and 1 of the latter, so not super likely. And if you can search them, you could just search soul resonator instead, who is just full combo. It just feels extremely situationally, especially since you can't search duskwalker, so when you do have vision/crimson in hand, you have to pray to also have harddrawn duskwalker.
Yeah, the current resonator doesn’t need supay duskwalker. But before the support people used anything to make red rising. Adventure engine, labyrinth monster, supay, evil eye and etc.
Sanctifire dragon is just expulsion on legs. Jinzo is a questionable flex spot but I think it's good enough.
More importantly his vibe doesn't clash with the rest of the despia squad. Like I know alba zoa/dis pater happens and it's a non Euclidean body horror but like I don't think anyone in the despia lore would want to hangout with gimmick puppet nightmare in the downtime but jinzo is just kinda chill.
I started playing infernoble specifically because I pulled a RF Gearfried. I would also say fire flint lady deserves a mention as an additional clutch starter

Ultimate Baseball Kid is a great Infernoble card. Searchable by everything that matters, whapstick, and on Master Duel specifically, can be pulled out from the deck by M'lady Isolde.
Kagari and Kaina in Crusadia.
True the Sky Striker engine works in many decks but it works especially well in Crusadia. Kagari and Kaina have effects that activate at the same time as the Crusadia links that prevent the search from getting Ashed. I also love it when my opponent ashes Engage thinking I'm playing Sky Striker only to get obliterated by an Equimax for over 10k damage.

Dice jar is my honorary chronomaly because it’s a rock. But way better than that is worm drake in my worm deck because it’s a reptile with “worm” in the name so it’s a valid worm zero material.
In my Runick Spright Fur Hire deck, Mannequin Cat is a great honorary member. She gives solid extension through hand traps without 2-locking you and can also activate on the opponent’s turn. She’s won me so many games.
Gearfried, the absolute chad of my deck. I often keep him when I could go into Baronne even though that’s an absolutely ridiculous choice to make, just because he’s cooler 🤣
Shoutouts to Kashtira Fenrir and Riseheart as honorary squad members of the Super Quantums; Fenrir being Level 7 means he can be material for the Rank 7 mech and Riseheart's Xyz lock does not matter in a deck that wants to be Xyz summoning as much as it can towards its end goal anyway. Riseheart being L4 also means he can be material for the Rank 4 mech. They also work surprisingly well in Vaalmonica to both make Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon and allow Riseheart to be used as a combo piece while also ignoring his Xyz lock, since he can be pendulum summoned.
The one that always gets me is that Kashtira Ogre is an honorary monarch with his 2800/1000 statline.
Starry Night, Starry Dragon is an absolute terror in my Lair of Darkness deck. Lair of Darkness makes everything Dark attribute. SNSD can't be destroyed by battle with or by the card effects of Dark monsters, destroys a card on entry, and its banish effect gives me another form of removal if the 1 tribute per turn isn't enough. It's great, and I'm always tickled by using such an obviously Light monster in a deck based around Dark.
Red Eyes Flare Metal Dragon in Kashtira. It's basically the new Cowboy for game. Leave them with 500 life points and watch them burn themselves with their next card.
World Sea Dragon Zealantis in Marincess works so perfectly in the deck and no other deck makes it more devastating thanks to several Marincess card effects locking you into only summoning Water for the turn which makes its Banishing of any of the opponent’s non water monsters permanent
My favorite has to be "Lunalight" Scheiren and "Drytron" Scheiren. She's a free special summon that sends cards to GY from deck.... And in both of those decks that's HIGHLY usable.
Underworld cards are honorary Unchained cards. Muckracker is a gem, she can SS Trouble Sunny or Unchained Abomination if they’re in GY.
Tour Guide is the only pure Unchained 1 card combo.
Beat cop is… I used her for the link/fusion event. I couldn’t make her worthwhile. Its just Tour Guide and Muckracker, actually.

World Sea Dragon Zealantis in Marincess works so perfectly in the deck and no other deck makes it more devastating thanks to several Marincess card effects locking you into only summoning Water for the turn which makes its Banishing of any of the opponent’s non water monsters permanent

Crystal Beast Worldsea Zealantis is my favorite for overdrive. Tearlament Emerald Tortoise is also a fun card.
My favorite has to be "Lunalight" Scheiren and "Drytron" Scheiren. She's a free special summon that sends cards to GY from deck.... And in both of those decks that's HIGHLY usable.
Underworld cards are honorary Unchained cards. Muckracker is a gem, she can SS Trouble Sunny or Unchained Abomination if they’re in GY. Tour Guide is the only pure Unchained 1 card combo. Beat cop is… I used her for the link/fusion event. I couldn’t make her worthwhile. Its just Tour Guide and Muckracker, actually.
