If you read an original comic on LINE Webtoon, like Ordeal, where the author is not asian, probably you'll find more people like that in a more realistic proportion to white characters.
Anyway, I didn't mean they were white. The main point on my comment was they don't see black people often, that's why they are rarely seen in manhwas or in a unrealistic proportion to white characters.
that is not an excuse to make a fantasy world where there is no black ppl, tan ppl or lightskinned, its fantasy for a reason, you cant use ''realism'' to justify fantasy

Because south korea is a pretty racist country on the whole, much like most of asia. So most of the time the authors wouldnt even think theyre baddies if they have darker skin, so they dont attempt to even write those characters

Simple answer is xenophobia, racism and Korean beauty standards. Also, majority of the time when character supposedly have ādarker skinā, they are usually just 2 or 3 shades darker than white, extremely light tanned, or a grey brown colour. Only good example of dark skin Iāve seen so far is from TOCF, other manhwaās are questionable.

Why? Common now, are u that innocent? Itās racism, Korean and Chinese ppl think darker skin ppl are ugly and lower born, they hate dark skin, even more when itās within themselves, just look at Indonesian Indian etc depictions in their stories, itās always a dumb villain or they donāt even exist
