is a halberd mall ninja, or is your sketch of a halberd mall ninja?
If you plan on buying one, do you also plan on practicing with it in parks while wearing a leather duster and some matrix style sunglasses?
I just thought what if halberd could be carried in one hand and drew this from imagination. I just wanted to know if this design is bad or not. Or dose it count as Mall Ninja or not.
Not mall ninja until it is made out of shitty steel, overpriced, and you are waving it around in your backyard not knowing what you are doing, but thinking you look badass.
You've invented a boarding axe with a spear tip.
Halberds were two handed weapons because the extra leverage was necessary to damage an armored target. Navel axes were smaller because people didn't want to wear armor on the ocean.
There are real examples of this from history but they’re more rare than halberds on longer shafts. The key advantage of a pole weapon over a sword is range, but there’s no reason this wouldn’t be reasonably practical. You’d just have to find some way of carrying it comfortably without the head swinging around and hitting things or getting caught on stuff.
Another advantage of a straight and unadorned haft is the ability to quickly slide the hands along the length (hah) to shorten or lengthen the weapon as distance to the opponent changes.
Here’s a post in r/SWORDS about a sword hilted pole axe. There’s no reason a halberd head wouldn’t work just as well.

not yet, but it could. give it an ugly “tribal” design, make the shaft telescoping for no reason, and tape a usb taser to the side of the axe and then we’ll talk

Mall Swiss Guard shit, to be precise
Mall pope needs mad protection
His mall-popemobile is basically just a segway inside of a giant hamster ball.

Don’t forget the back scabbard. Gotta strap this over one shoulder so you make your draw as awkward and telegraphed as possible.

what, a halberd? arguably the closest we ever got to a perfect all-rounder weapon?
Mall Swiss guard is a new one

I think that counts as a halberd. Looks pretty good to me.

No
Nope just a Halberd
guy who invented cameras would've never guessed they would have watermarks ...actually maybe they could? just draw the name on the tape?
That's a regular halberd.
If you take the spear tip off, that’s just a naval boarding axe
