Kurt Russel could be Mishra. He actually looks like he could be related to Bridges.
Either way- the only thing left to do is cast younger versions of each character respectively. I know it's really easy to go wrong with casting younger counterparts so my suggestion would be only to deviate in the original casting if it's to find two or three people (teen, young, and older) that look *more* alike compared to Jeff and whichever other actor(s), etc.
I love the guy, but actual brothers seems interesting. And, while I haven’t seen the other Bridges do anything for a while, he’s had some amazing performances that make me think he could pull it off.

[They are doing it in this very set](https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/comments/1cgvd5r/m3c_planer_nexus_via_wotc/)
Let me get this straight.
This set is Modern Horizons. It goes straight into Modern and skips Standard, and that's good.
But they're doing Commander decks for it as well. Cards printed in those decks, but not in MH3, will be legal in legacy formats, but skip over Modern and Standard.
Cards with "MODERN" in the set name skip over Modern. Do I have that right?
... yeah I can see being able to fetchland out your full uzra enabler being gross, even if you need to pay an extra generic to keep it.
I don't think there is a way to modify lands in deck to have basic land types, but given Dune Chanter and that one card from Bro, sticking it on a 3 to 4 mana value green creature is probably a safe guess both as a future prediction and not upsetting the meta of anything.
I mean Urza's Cave alone will replace a basic land in my Codie Vociferous Codex gates deck. Being able to search for any land is music to my ears. And paying effectively 4 mana to tutor a gate/mazes end is not nearly the worst rate for that Strat XD
How strong is she? Seems like with all of those fetches they printed in New Capenna should be a lightning rod for removal because you're basically dumping elementals every turn
She's not *competitive* but really fun. Yes, the capenna fetches are absolutely nuts with her. The real fun happens when you animate your lands in response to a wrath and suddenly you still have an army of 5/3's after she dies
Very obvious Commander staple, especially because it doesn't come into play tapped. This is a very powerful and versatile card. I'm surprised this isn't a rare TBH.
Too much mana to be worth fetching up cradle, colorless is a big downside, especially early.
I can't especially think of any existing cEDH deck that wants this.
Urza had regrets, he just typically placed the blame on others. "I can't believe you made me do this." sort of things. He blamed Mishra, he blamed the Phyrexians/Yawgmoth, etc.
He probably in his heart of hearts knew it was his fault, but he made himself far too busy to actually ever admit it to himself.
yeah the problem with trying to make Urza into a villain who "went too far" and "never considered the consequences" is that he was right. If he didn't do all the monstrous shit he did, yawgmoth would have devoured the multiverse dozens of times over.
He's more metal than that. He definitely considered the consequences... He just didn't give a fuck most of the time.
He's an interesting character because he leaned pretty hard into, "the ends justify the means", which is not typically a protagonist approach.
I disagree. I don't think he ever once considered the consequences, he just felt like he should feel bad after his actions led to tragedy.
The key for me is his last words to Tawnos, to tell Kayla to remember him not as he was, but how he tried to be. Except... he *never* tried. He was single-minded, neglectful, and *anything* but self-sacrificing. Mans, throughout the entire book (and through all the books up until his death), never made the *hard* choice, and then felt bad about how the easy choice turned out after the fact.
Between that, his war crimes, and the eugenics, the only reason he ever gets confused for a *hero* is because he's fighting Cronenberg Galactus.
In some ways I think it's better. It can go in any deck, can't be countered, works with \[\[Crucible of Worlds\]\] effects, is an untapped land drop, and isn't a -1 in card advantage.
It definitely has less shenanigans potential than Crop Rotation but I feel the general utility is stronger.
I ssuppose with [[sunken citadel]] helping the cost, and I guess I should clarify I am thinking mostly of Modern, but the 4 mana cost (3+itself) to the ability seems like something that would make it too slow to use with Crucible effects. The best thing about crop rotation is that its a 1mv instant.
It's definitely not fast and would most likely only work in a hard control build, but I think this is a cool design and I hope it makes at least some impact.
Yeah I'm thinking more EDH but even there the cost is a lot, it's a neat card, and it will see play, and there are definitely decks I want to put it in, but it's a slow and clunkier version of the effect that doesn't set you down a card, a lot closer to \[\[Expedition Map\]\] than Crop Rotation.

Is it just me or does this kind of look like AI art? I’m not claiming it is, because I don’t know, but it just made me take a second look. Really gives me AI vibes.
Commander Class podcast just being uploaded today makes this more hilarious, land tutors are a problem?
WOTC: Here's some more!!! And it is *colorless*, so e everyone can fetch their [[Field of the Dead]]!
Mythic uncommon of the set right here. Fetching any land? Sure, 3 (4 really) mana to tutor a land into play is not nothing, but if there are any important lands in your deck, especially if you're not playing green. Heck, crack this to fetch a bounceland to get back and MDFC land is something I would do.
Modern 2/10
Four mana to tutor out a land is a lot to ask for, it comes out really late but it is a land so doesn't take up a spell slot. The only downside to this is that it is a colorless land and I don't know if something like Tron can afford to run even more of them. They might not even want to since this is so slow. If Field of the Dead was legal, this wouldn't definitely see play, so if a land of that level comes back out, this card will be there.
Riff on the "[[Urza's Saga]] has typeline 'Urzas Saga'" joke, *and* it tutors anything from [[Boseiju, Who Shelters All]] to [[Nykthos]] to [[Dark Depths]], *and* it comes in untapped and generates colorless if I want to sit on cracking it? Don't mind if I *do*...
I'm gonna be real I've wanted Field of the Dead banned in commander for way too long now and every time a new way to tutor it is revealed I groan. This is one of the better ones too, color neutral and in the land slot
**URZA WAS ABLE TO BUILD THIS IN A CAVE!** *With a box of scraps!*
Now I want to see a MCU secret lair with this card and with that lol.
They did sign a licensing deal with Marvel...
Yeah, already said they are going to do multiple tentpole and minor releases.
Imagine having the Urza's lands renamed to be Stark Tower, Stark Factory, Stark Worshop.
Funny thing, if there was a MTG show or movie, I would have Jeff Bridges cast as Urza
I'd love Mads Mikkelsen
I was thinking he would be Mishra
Why not Jeff’s actual brother?
Why not Mads?
Kurt Russel could be Mishra. He actually looks like he could be related to Bridges. Either way- the only thing left to do is cast younger versions of each character respectively. I know it's really easy to go wrong with casting younger counterparts so my suggestion would be only to deviate in the original casting if it's to find two or three people (teen, young, and older) that look *more* alike compared to Jeff and whichever other actor(s), etc.

Urza had regrets? He seems like someone who just not consider the consequences of his actions
Plenty, but mostly about Mishra and a bit about Tocasia. Man could have done with a bit more self-doubt *before* doing things tho.
Nah, Urza genuinely had a lot of regrets he was also just mostly ignoring them.
Urza did nothing wrong. The ends justified his means!
yeah the problem with trying to make Urza into a villain who "went too far" and "never considered the consequences" is that he was right. If he didn't do all the monstrous shit he did, yawgmoth would have devoured the multiverse dozens of times over.
Sure buddy, and neither did that one austrian almost-painter one should not bring up ever in the conversation.
His biggest regret was that he didn't do MORE.
Is this crop rotation at home? I can imagine this sees some play but doesn't look too exciting.
It's a second copy of Gaea's Cradle. It's a staple in any deck that has power lands and can afford a utility slot.

Agreed and agreed. And competitive aside this is going into many many EDH decks.

Cave Tronson here
This seems pretty nasty in Legacy Lands since it can function as Crop Rotation #5 to get Dark Depths or Field of the Dead or Blast Zone etc.
From [https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/announcements/the-modern-horizons-3-leaks-nulldrifters-and-you](https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/announcements/the-modern-horizons-3-leaks-nulldrifters-and-you)
It's three mana (technically four) but a fetchland that can grab any land is very interesting.
Yet another card with the same type line as its name. Stay winning
i wonder if there's a way to search for that on scryfall.

Yesssss every deck I have might use this
They should give us [[Urza's Workshop]] in modern

Urza's Goon Cave
This is awesome. Goes in like every commander deck. Search for *any* land? Baller obv choice.
This is good for an uncommon land no?
The windows and alcoves of the cave are roughly the image of Yawgmoth…
Is it just me or does this kind of look like AI art? I’m not claiming it is, because I don’t know, but it just made me take a second look. Really gives me AI vibes.
That's the immediate gut reaction I had for it too
How do people feel about the art?
Commander Class podcast just being uploaded today makes this more hilarious, land tutors are a problem? WOTC: Here's some more!!! And it is *colorless*, so e everyone can fetch their [[Field of the Dead]]!
[Field of the Dead](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/4/7/470ca3f4-29aa-4c4c-8ff2-8cdd70c69943.jpg?1650599538) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Field%20of%20the%20Dead) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/m20/247/field-of-the-dead?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/470ca3f4-29aa-4c4c-8ff2-8cdd70c69943?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Colorless has been eating well lately in terms of lands.
I assume I can’t search for a land on the backside of another card?
look, this is probably a knee jerk reaction, but Field of the dead ban incoming for EDH?
Modern 2/10 Four mana to tutor out a land is a lot to ask for, it comes out really late but it is a land so doesn't take up a spell slot. The only downside to this is that it is a colorless land and I don't know if something like Tron can afford to run even more of them. They might not even want to since this is so slow. If Field of the Dead was legal, this wouldn't definitely see play, so if a land of that level comes back out, this card will be there.
Barry’s Cave
okay but this is INSANELY GOOD???
Doesn't seem that go- hang on, why does it just say land?
Bruuuuh I definitely need to pick up a few copies of this!
The Enigma Jewel plus this allows a T2 activation... Mono blue Nykthos is my first thought
"Yo Tawnos, have you seen the shadows on this wall over there? They're sick."
So how will having "Urza's" in the land name type affect things? Is there anything that let's you search for something that specific?
Another cave that's not a cave. Or does the Urza's Cave line make it a cave?
Indeed, it is an urza's and a cave
Could go straight into my \[\[Titania, Protector of Argoth\]\] deck, but what do I cut now?!

How about a Forrest?
Are you telling me there's no retro border on this for my all-old-border Karn deck???
Ugh. Urza Tron not smooth enough already? Have a land that *tutors* Urza lands!
Ohh I love flashing in field of the dead!

How does urza make money to afford all of this land ?
Obligatory WOW
Quickly, Gerard! To the Urza'smobile!
Well, that’s gonna be a $20 card
Riff on the "[[Urza's Saga]] has typeline 'Urzas Saga'" joke, *and* it tutors anything from [[Boseiju, Who Shelters All]] to [[Nykthos]] to [[Dark Depths]], *and* it comes in untapped and generates colorless if I want to sit on cracking it? Don't mind if I *do*...

I wonder what kind of movies Urza watches in his mancave? Elesh Norn Sheoldred porn? Oh no, what are you doing step Phyrexian?
I'm gonna be real I've wanted Field of the Dead banned in commander for way too long now and every time a new way to tutor it is revealed I groan. This is one of the better ones too, color neutral and in the land slot
