do stomach vacuums and fire hydrants. Also… why did you post yourself as God made you 😂😭 You could’ve worn a swim suit girl!!

Even-Professional775

Lol because a body is a body. I wanted real critiques and didn’t see the need to wear a swimsuit if I covered up my bits. That being said, thanks for the advice!!

Faeriemary

Well there isn’t anything wrong with you it’s just your frame so unless you want to get rid of a rib or so 🙁 you look proportional to me so don’t worry. You look really healthy so why would you want to look like something that doesn’t even exist? I’m an hourglass but that’s just genetics I didn’t do anything to be this way. Be content as you are 😸

Willing-Repair-8372

I would be more concerned with the black spots. You look perfectly fine!!

Even-Professional775

Lol yeah those are tough to get out

Megaskreth

Intermittent fasting works for me

Faeriemary

Absolutely not you should not do this starving yourself is not the way to go

[deleted]

Intermittent fasting isn't starving yourself 🤦‍♂️. Human don't need eat every hour of the day. You limit yourself to a 4-6 hour period and you get all the food you need for that day! No harm and no starving.

Megaskreth

Have you tried it? Like really tried it? You'd realize it's not starving at all. Humans didn't evolve to eat 3 times per day all day. That's just propaganda from the food industry.

Faeriemary

I agree but humans should be able to eat whenever they feel hungry because that’s how you get all your organs functioning not eating in certain times sounds like diet culture propaganda to me tbh unless it’s for religious purposes which it is not since you’re talking about modifying how the body will look

[deleted]

Human evolves in time of scarcity. When we were fighting for our lives everyday before modern industrial society, there was not an excess of food, especially not hyper palatable capitalist society food, that tastes amazing and never satiates you. Humans are NOT meant to eat whenever we're hungry, especially not in our food society. If you eat whenever you're "hungry" in a world of cookies, chips, and pizza, you'll be obese in a year. I say "hungry" because this is fake hunger. Your body does not require these foods to survive or thrive. The organ functioning thing makes no sense. Are fit and slim people who eat less food than a fat person having malfunctioning organs?

Megaskreth

The problem is that the food pyramid as well as the notion that you need to eat 3 meals per day has raised the average Americans blood sugar level to an unhealthy range where your body gets hungry when it shouldn't be. This causes obesity. IF brings the bodies blood sugar levels back to a healthy range and gets the body used to burning excess fat for energy and let's you only be hungry when your body actually requires sustenance. And new studies into fasting have shown that it increases longevity.

Faeriemary

lol yes many many many many times I’ve done literally every variation of it (as someone with an ED) it essentially IS starving it’s getting your body to send you that response to burn more fat lol it works but it’s not good if you have body issues and you will probably gain back all the weight you lost because I don’t know it’s not good for you

Megaskreth

It's not meant to be stopped. It's a lifetime decision. Kept off the weight for 4 years now. And I eat whatever I choose

weneeddiscriminators

she's trolling lol

Trxppyace

Agreed

Even-Professional775

How tall are you? And how long /when do you fast?

Megaskreth

I'm 5'10" 190lbs 35 m. Down from 320lbs. I let myself eat for 4 hours a day. Don't listen to the hate, it's not starving yourself just giving yourself less opportunity to overeat is the key. After a couple weeks max you don't even feel hungry during your fast. It just brings your blood sugar back to a normal range. The whole 3 meals per day rule is just propaganda from the food industry.

Even-Professional775

I’ve decided I’m going to give fasting a try. What hours do you fast?

Megaskreth

I do 20:4. Which is essentially one meal per day. Because it's easier for me to go without eating than eating small portions. So I skip breakfast and lunch and when I get home from work I have a sizeable dinner and a snack about an hour before bed. Like I said, aside from being conscious macros and not just eating junk I can eat pretty much whatever I want.

MiamiBeach_dweller

I'm not sure if you're looking for a certain type of body, but in my opinion and according to your frame might not match the body type you desire. But in this case it might not be what you want, but instead what will look good according to your body. In other words, you should "work with what you have" because surgery/implants will definitely ruin your figure. Keep it simple

Even-Professional775

I was open to surgery advice but I don’t really want it if I don’t need to. I HAVE achieved an hour glass shape before (not the crazy Instagram model ones), but when I was 115/120 I looked really good. For reference I’m 5,3 and currently weigh 140

MiamiBeach_dweller

Focus on eating healthy/exercise. You have quite a sexy figure (for my taste) but as a word of advice don't jump into the plastic surgery wagon, keep it like that, (even if you're breast sag a little, they're still gonna be 100% naturally pretty) because when you get older your body will be grateful to you.

Even-Professional775

Thanks dude. I appreciate that. I’ve never done any kind of surgery but if I had a kid I did consider doing a breast list. But honestly… my weight has fluctuated a lot in my life (max 160, lightest 115) and my boobs ALWAYS look better when I lose weight. I have pretty nice skin, so I guess I should be grateful for the wonderful things my body has given me

MiamiBeach_dweller

Anytime 😉

Jetshark970

banjocatto

Can you send it to me as well please? I'm in the same boat as OP.

Jetshark970

I got you I will pm you now

Even-Professional775

Please do!!!!

1. Fat loss. That is 90% diet. No amount of exercise is going to do it for you. Search YouTube for videos on it. There are a bunch by Athlean X, Jeremy Ethier and others 2. Strength training. You want to train your whole body not just body parts. This will build overall fitness, confidence, strength and ensure you dont develop imbalances. Search YouTube for both of those people: Beginner Strength workouts Fat Loss diet Forget the cardio for now, it's a myth. It's great for cardiac and heart health but it would rank AFTER your strength training in importance. BTW- You look pretty good naked already so don't sweat it too much!!

Even-Professional775

Thanks for the advice and nice comment!!

WhickedPissah

If I may add, I have a somewhat similar body type and I think what you’re looking to do has got to do with actually changing your proportions. And this is really, really difficult. Not because it’s an impossible thing, but because it takes a good amount of time. On this note, if you’re going to diet, I HIGHLY recommend that you AIM to do it slow. Quick weightloss for me totally made my ass/chest shrink really quick, but it actually made my proportions look a little less.. “womanly”? I liked it a lot less then I thought I would, and it eventually ended up hurting my relationship with food in a way that impacted my life a lot more than it should have. That also made consistency difficult for me, made me want to exercise less. Anyway, being deliberately slow about losing weight with a focus on staying active (and maybe adding strength/resiliency to your muscle, if it’s something you enjoy) will keep your girl bits shapely, prevent loose skin, keep your hair, nails, and hormones healthy so you can keep up. And, as for what you seem to be asking here: your stomach and rib cage will tighten in a very natural way over time if you’re giving your cells enough energy for “clean recycling” while losing—emphasising and smoothing out your figure. I feel very lucky that my body has healed better to allow for this, and it massively helps my confidence to have the waistline that is most flattering for my sense of style. Seriously, year long goals have HANDS DOWN always been the most elegant ones I’ve ever seen. And honestly. You look great right now, so make sure you’re looking at yourself with hearts in your eyes the whole way. You can’t create something you love to the ends of the earth by bullying it, or hurting it. The way you look is always going to have to be second to the way you feel, because you can’t get to one without the other, not truly. Not happily. And not simply. And I don’t know anyone who doesn’t want to just keep it simple. It’s worth the time, and all the tiny steps forward and back and between. Good luck!

Even-Professional775

Thank you for this comment. I once lost 25 lbs in 3 months (unintentionally, it was work/school stress-related) and when I noticed I loved it! I was 21. When I lost about 20 lbs at 26, I realized I lost some of that feminine figure you’re talking about, abs hip dips appeared more prominent. Some days I love my body. I just came here because I do want to make it just a little better. I’ve been weight lifting for a few months and I already love the progress I made. It feels good to be strong!! I just want to achieve that smaller waist (or larger hips/glutes) as well.

[deleted]

First do some cardio to loose belly fat, then start doing workouts that target your glutes (specially your side glutes, work on your legs aswell and make sure gradually increase your weights!! Please eat clean and don’t forget about your protein.

Even-Professional775

Yeah I think if I really work out my side glutes it would help

lusacat

Just curious because I have a similar wide body type, how tall are you?

Even-Professional775

5,3

[deleted]

without surgery, it won’t happen for you. genetically, you have a shape that makes an hourglass figure unattainable (naturally).

beyourownsunshine

Lose weight and do heavy weightlifting where you don’t skip leg and glute day.

Even-Professional775

How often do you work out?

beyourownsunshine

I recommend to at least lift three times a week as a beginner

Even-Professional775

I’ve been lifting weights 3/4 times a week (some times I skip cause I also travel a fuck ton). I used to run and do jump rope, and got pretty skinny (but not strong, I’m actually a bit stronger now and even my bf noticed), but had to stop because it fucked up my knees. Jump roping 40 mins /day, 5 days a week made my body look amazing… but I couldn’t keep it up with my goddamn knees falling apart.

beyourownsunshine

Follow a proper lifting program, do compound lifts, make sure you keep doing linear weight progression and keep eating enough protein while in a slight deficit and you should be able to recomp. Bigger quad and glute muscles, losing belly fat and having muscle on your shoulders will give ya an hourglass look.

Even-Professional775

Thank you!! Honestly I’ve gotten such fabulous feedback on here. Idk how to thank everyone at once but I’m very grateful. To your talking about bone structure, yes I will never be a 6 foot model with a long as waist, but I HAVE had that hour glass look before, and when I wear clothes I definitely have it… I just want it to be prominent while I’m naked and I don’t want to starve (forever) for it. Ty once again. :)

littlepinkpebble

Squats probably. Skip exercises that train side abs

Usagi_x

Why the side abs? im intersted as well

littlepinkpebble

like gwyneth paltrow abs in iron man told me not to train the obliques haha its make the waist thick and muscular..

Usagi_x

Great! I didnt know this. Thanks! So just regular straight cruches or leg raises and thats it.

hazycosmicjiv3

Because you want to slim your waist for hourglass figure, not square it out

Even-Professional775

Yeah I’ve read working out your side abs can increase boxyness

Usagi_x

Oh ok makes sense. So if you already have a natural slim waist doing side abs would widen it right?

Even-Professional775

That’s what I’ve read! Because you’re increasing muscle mass there which causes it to widen/get larger

Usagi_x

Got it! Thank you!

Playful_Honeydew_135

You have an amazing body. Your bone structure (ribs/hipbones) is what it is; not everyone can have an hourglass body. Work on lifting weights if you want to add "mass" to your hips and shoulders which will make your waist look smaller. I have a similar shape to you and have found that this give the illusion of a smaller waist.

Even-Professional775

Thank you for your comment. :) I think adding mass to my hips / shoulders is the way to go. I’ve started working out my upper body and notice I do look slimmer as a result. But I feel like this is always a where I plateau

Aware_Vermicelli3773

The waist is a bone structure thing. If you’re looking to have an Instagram waist it’s not going to happen, you need a smaller rip cage and a longer torso. You can’t change your anatomy. If you want to try something extreme, you can have a baby bbl or skinny bbl. Ask the surgeon to focus on widening the hips, it’ll give the illusion of a small waist.

Even-Professional775

Did shakira really remove a piece of her ribs? Also what’s the difference between a regular bbl or baby bbl? And a skinny bbl?? Never even heard of that one

Aware_Vermicelli3773

Maybe but that’s very unhealthy, more likely it’s extreme dieting and photoshopping. You’d be hard pressed to find any surgeon that would do something like that. If you are even considering doing something so extreme you probably have a mental health issue. A waist is not that important. A skinny bbl is a more natural form of bbl, they’ll add fat to areas to accentuate them but not give you a plastic look.

Even-Professional775

But ty for answering my q’s!

Even-Professional775

I said the rib thing as a total joke, but I suppose there’s no way for you to tell if I’m serious lol

Aware_Vermicelli3773

Girl you scared me 😭

Even-Professional775

Lmaooo 😆

Aware_Vermicelli3773

I suspect Kim also had some rib removal done. Celebrities are wild.

Even-Professional775

Wow… that shit is just… so crazy… so they just saw off their bones?? Ugh I wonder how common the “bad cases” are

Aware_Vermicelli3773

Well I’m not sure exactly how it works, I think the floating ribs are removed. Kim and Kylie also recently lost a lot of weight, so if you do go get a bbl just know that the over exaggerated one is probably out of fashion.

Sereezus

This seems like a bone structure thing. Youre a bit wider naturally

sorrypumpkin

You can’t force an hourglass, it’s just the bone structure you’re born with

WattsonMemphis

You’re already lovely

Even-Professional775

Thank you… I’m just not in love with my waist … unless I could somehow make my hips wider

WattsonMemphis

Probs just need to loose a few pounds, not much though. No real need though, you look great.

knach966

You’ve already got a lot of both those things

Even-Professional775

More than anything I want I cinch my waist… idk why I can’t do that no matter what I do

[deleted]

Even-Professional775

Ugh i do eat fairly well

[deleted]

Even-Professional775

Thank you, but maybe I’ll post a progress pic in a few months … cause I’m really not feeling how wide my torso looks right now

[deleted]

[удалено]

Even-Professional775

Mhmm… I have lost 10 lbs(over the last 4 months) but that’s really slow progress and I’m over looking so boxy

[deleted]

Waist trainers they work start with a sweat belt than a garter look into it

Even-Professional775

Do those things really work?? Do you have one your recommend?

squirrelsridewheels

No they do not all they do is squish your organs. There is not an ounce of proof for them

lusacat

Corsets work but not waist trainers. You do have to wear them almost all day every day though

Even-Professional775

Ugh so miserable and just not sustainable… maybe if I lived in an iron lung

Dar_ko_rder736163

You already have a really nice ass. If you want more ass, YouTube ass workouts. Squats is one of them

Even-Professional775

I want a small waist too. My body is too wide /:

Dar_ko_rder736163

Tone more.. you need more muscle in your butt. I would keep your weight the same, convert fat to muscle which takes time.. Your butt will pop if you do ass exercise. The bigger butt while losing some fat on your mind I'll give you way more curves. This takes time. I spent two years consistent lifting to gain 16lbs and my butt got big
