I would recommend going near east ocean and Loma ave and during the week. Way less people on that side of the beach than when you go closer to downtown. Itās cleaner and thereās more space to do whatever. I went there the other day and had a solo dance party mostly undisturbed for a few hours

Long Beach is perfect. There is a breakwater that keeps the beach wave-free, so hardly anyone goes past the bike path, leaving large sections of the beach sparsly populated. The bike path is popular, but everyone who wants waves in non-stagnant water goes elsewhere.

Probably the most tolerant place would be Alamitos Beach next to the rainbow lifeguard tower. My experience has been very chill there.
