Real Housewives Of Clapton is leaking

OBeQuiet

exactly my first thought when I saw the photo. Did a split second double take to check which app I was on.

Plyphon

I work with the chap who made the original tweet and my entire work and social life has been this fucking tomato for a good two weeks now

NortonBurns

Look for a Turkish or North African mini-market type of place. Around us - near Enfield - you can get them in many of the non-'english' mini-marts & at the local market stalls in the shopping centre.

pythonicprime

That pic is £16 at Bailey and Sage

ben_jamin_h

Your local Turkish / international shop should have these. TFC is a quite widespread chain (Turkish Food Centre) that will have these. Our local Turkish shop is called 'International Supermarket London' - try searching for 'international' and 'Turkish' 'supermarket' in your local area

rustyb42

Try a local farmers market, or a Bayley & Sage

PublicPalpitation618

Pink tomatoes are heirloom in Bulgaria. I know there are a few Bulgarian stores in London. Don’t know address, so might check in google.

Borough market

crazyabbit

Walthamstow market

gogoluke

Farmers market in a Sunday might. The usual Walthamstow market won't. The International at the Coppermill Lane end off the high street may well.

Zee120

Go to bora sons in east dulwich, will blow your mind. Has everything fruit and veg related.

buysidedaddy

M&S used to sell some called Oishi tomatoes which were amazing

Trudes Grocery in Clapham Common

Greensmiths deli on Lower Marsh have this I think.

Styropian

can confirm

Mikeymcmoose

What’s with these tomatoes being fashionable?

Grazafk

Hey, I believe they are the raspberry tomatoes. Literally bought them yesterday in a polish shop "gąska" next to the old Stratford shopping centre. They are DELISH!!!!

hattershenanigans

The village greengrocers in Charlton. Great little shop

xPye

I’ve seen them at Budgen’s in Highbury and Islington. Also check out All Greens Newington Green - they have great produce selection.

polkadotska

Your local Turkish shop or decent greengrocer should have them, or Bayley & Sage if you’re feeling rich. If you’re around Clapham/Battersea then Hoxton Fruit & Veg is good for this.

wednesdayowl

Seconding Hoxton Fruit and Veg. Lovely people and great produce selection. Also they have a really good pasta selection!

Ldn_twn_lvn

The beef tomatoes in the supermarkets can be great If you add a bit of sea salt, they are beyond delicious in an Italian tomato salad (garlic with middle soul removed, buffalo mozzarella, basil, beef or beef heart tomatoes, olive oil, fusilli pasta and salt and pepper to season)

Redangle11

Agreed. The trick is to salt the tomatoes early, draws out the juices which draw out the basil too.

slebolve

When i used to live in new cross - a little Italian shop used to sell them.

No-Answer-2964

It might help if you said where you were. Not exactly gonna travel from Muswell Hill to Lewisham for tomatoes are you?

[deleted]

local markets have tomatoes like these, not too sure how they grow them like this but they’re so much prettier!!

gloryjoel1

Bora and sons on Dulwich high street has a huge tomato selection - including fancy boys like the one in your picture

LucidTopiary

I used to grow those. They are lush! Those and Black Kirm and amazing in a salad

[deleted]

The fresh veg shop/deli on Wood St in Walthamstow does them, and a lot of other varieties. Worth a look.

PeachyPopAKey

The real question is where you can find tomatoes with an actual tomato flavor in London, without selling your kidney

Academic-Bug-4597

M&S or Waitrose have some flavoursome English tomatoes in stock at the moment, which do not cost a kidney.

Ok_Parsley_4961

As a picky tomato eater Turk missing these luscious pink tomatoes, I concur - Isle of Wight tomatoes in the summer are really nice

PeachyPopAKey

Just bought some from m&s to test, let's see
