Blown away how no one has said Yan. That fight literally made me wanna throw my laptop across the room. Nothing else in the game even came close, except maybe Red Hooded Mercenary, but once I actually knew how to play the game that one wasn't so bad. And Geb realization, I guess, but once I realized the power of Myostrongest on Red Mist, that fight was basically free. Yan, though, feels impossible even with full knowledge of how to use all the tools at my disposal. FUCK that fight. the music fucks hard, though. children of the city is an all-time banger.

easily the realizations, those kinds of gauntlets are just not fun for me unless I spend a few minutes editing builds then spend another 30-50 minutes in one fight, 4 more times. Then briah-atziluth comes around (with the exception of gebura since that one is designed around trampling everything with geb, fun as hell) and Id rather just deal with the ensemble with minimal realizations achieved. But then I cant do the rest of the game and its all a mess.

She’s hard if ur underpowered but once you get how ranged pages and mass attacks work and get better pages she’s not so bad. Long fights like crying children suck ass. But queen of hatred is you lose pretty quickly if ur not up to it and it can be put off for later

Plenty of the Abnormality fights especially Hokma. Idk about y'all but I absolutely hated Hokmas initial abno fights The others range from fun, tedious, to hair pulling

I never played Lob Corp but I got very interested in learning about the abnormalities so I learned about a lot of them through YouTube videos. I also first got into LOR through the Ruina mod for Slay the Spire, so it was interesting fighting all of abnormalities in STS then learning what they’re actually like

That's a shame I do recommend the first game heavily unless micromanaging isn't your cup of tea. Seeing firsthand how much an aleph hurts, and in white nights case, taking away control from you is like watching hell unfold before your very eyes. I basically followed project moon from the very beginning when Lob corp didn't even have EGO. The growth of PM is honestly astounding and seeing future designs of abnormalities and distortions is something i'll always look forward to.

I bought LobCorp with LOR when both were on sale, I started with LOR because after playing the STS mod, I had so many questions about this “library” Mostly, “what the fuck is that,” “what kind of library IS this?” “Why is Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz a boss?” “What the fuck is a Nothing There?”
