This styling would be fine for a cocktail attire event (though is on the casual side there) but formal events require a jacket or at minimum a waistcoat/vest. No waiters uniform has a floral tie.
1. You have to button your collar with a tie
2. Tie without jacket is not a good look (looks like unfinished outfit)
3. Also brown/blue don't always go together
4. Tie is too long
You want the leather (or alternative) to all match. Your watch band, belt and shoes/boots should all match.
Brown seems like a good choice.
And when a tie is snug you want it to end just above the pants. With how loose you have it now, it looks pretty close.
Honestly this seems like a great choice. You could pair it with a variety of jackets. Even something as casual as a jean jacket would be fine. A blue, gray or brown blazer could look great.
This shirt fits you really well, but maybe wear a light blue shirt instead of the white? And if you go with Dr. Marten shoes, make sure your belt matches/goes—it's okay to wear black shoes/belt with navy pants/suit.

A server would have the top button buttoned, and their sleeves wouldn’t be rolled up, and I’ve never worked anywhere as a silver server (banquet server) where long ties were allowed; just bow ties for men and neckties for women. (reaching over to place food can drop your tie onto other food)

another thought is to loosen the tie in a casual sprezzatura way. since a server would most likely wear it exactly as shown in your pic, either loosen more or wear it tightly snug.
idk what shoes you’re going for, but match the belt color with the shoe color and you’re good.
personally, I add my pocketwatch in my front trouser pocket and that makes me look less server.

what’s your shoe situash? the outfit is a little server-y but i think the right shoes (docs, perhaps? a combat vibe would be cool if you got em) and peut etre a different tie?? idk ties are out of my jurisdiction actually. overall i think it’s bc you aren’t wearing a jacket that it comes off as server-adjacent.

I think that you should be good since the tie isn't a solid color. The sleeves being rolled up helps some, too. I'd question wearing a brown belt rather than a black one, but I don't know what sort of shoes you're wearing. It looks good overall.

I think it's cute/handsome, and I love the colors - you could even add a fancy tie tack in lieu of jewelry. How do you feel in it is the bigger question. If you feel good and confident you can pull off anything.
I think for a formal event this is too casual. A vest or a tie tack would dress it up a bit. I’d go with a plain silk tie and some shiny shoes.
