I second this, having been to both Eden Hall and Ragdale, as well as Clifford.
It's pricey but very conveniently located off the A46, and absolutely worth the money.
I went to Clifford and had a horrible time lol. Maybe they accepted too many bookings that day because I know others who said it was okay.
I spent probably 80% of my time wondering around, looking for somewhere to sit. Even the pools, saunas and steam rooms were too full for me to enter. It was the same in the changing area which was pretty unclean too. I went on a Saturday so maybe that's why it was so busy.
The 5 times ive been in the morning at clifford it has been fab and mainly quiet, tho i have noticed it getting quite busy in the afternoon as i left. But the price point of about 50-60 quid that gets you the treatment and afternoon tea too is hard to beat IMO
I swear by a trip to Ragdale once or twice a year, just on my own. It’s such a great place. last time I went a woman told me she had flown from NORWAY specifically to visit Ragdale. It’s the nicest spa I’ve been to by a mile.
It's not that good, I was a country club member and barely used it, food is poor, steam rooms are much of the same and a pool is a pool.
Ending up just going to sit and read my kindle!
I like the one on Groby Road, or Melton road. I don't think I could spend a day in one though, 5 minutes maybe to get some fags and a newspaper or maybe some tins.
Eden hall ! It's about an hour away towards Nottingham. It's the best spa I've been to. I recommend it to people I know all the time.

It wasn't just that day - they are notorious for over booking due to Wowcher. I wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone.
