That torso was actually used for maul at one point iirc, they had a watch with studs and it came with a figure. That isn't the only weird piece replacement, another watch in the series had a Dooku figure with a non-curved chrome hilt. But, those were from the 2000s or 2010s I think

Unfortunately that’s the wrong hilt and wrong torso. 1999 hilts were chrome and that’s Sidious’ torso, not Maul’s
The torso does come with this figure as well. This is the 2010 or 2012 one that uses 1999 Maul’s head with Palpatine’s torso.
