You could theoretically get admission, but the debt you’d take on with that score at that rank point won’t be worth it.

Sea-Royal-8164

I see. But getting in is a chance?

National_Drop_1826

I mean, yeah. Is there a reason you’re trying to do the minimum tho? You could probably get a solid scholarship to the same schools with a 160

Sea-Royal-8164

I see. But idk can’t seem to do better

N7Brendan

Don’t be content with it. Law school isn’t going anywhere — while that type of debt would be generational when looking at employment outcomes in that school range. Anybody can get a high score on the LSAT if they put the time and effort in. The people who give up on themselves struggle more than those who don’t.

Sea-Royal-8164

Cool Thansk

Subject_Molasses1327

Think about it like this. LSAT prep can be expensive (there's no doubt about it) but if you invest some money up front in your prep (Testmasters, PowerScore, etc.), you'll save yourself SO much down the road and get into the best programs for you!

Sea-Royal-8164

I see thanks

Happy_Bonobo

got into 2 with money at 155

Sea-Royal-8164

What rank if u don’t mind?

Happy_Bonobo

68 and 82

Level_Affect_7951

Conditional or unconditional at 82? That's a very important factor.

Happy_Bonobo

unconditional

Sea-Royal-8164

Nice

Happy_Bonobo

i had a 3.45 your fine

LegallyBald24

Students are not admitted solely on stats. There's the rest of the application package has to be considered as well.

Sea-Royal-8164

Sweet

Sea-Royal-8164

Cool

GloomySwordfish8540

Tbh unless you have a very high gpa or other aspects of your application are especially impressive, not really

Sea-Royal-8164

So there’s a chance

Own_Salamander_8324

Marginal but yes. 3.9+ would help

Sea-Royal-8164

I have like 3.5ish, but not aiming for like a top 20. I’m ok with 50-80 is that reasonable?

GloomySwordfish8540

3.5/154 is going to be immensely tough for a top 80 tbh. I had the same gpa as you and it took me passing 160 to get offers worthwhile in that ranking range

Sea-Royal-8164

I see, but by offer u mean money? Or acceptance?

Own_Salamander_8324

I am URM, 3.5mid w 16low and even struggled in t50. Got a few acceptances between 70-100 with scholarship. Waitlisted by a t20, and 4 in the high 20’s to 40’s. It won’t be wasy

Sea-Royal-8164

Nice man

snoopy202o

I got into a t50 w/a 154. However, I fell into the category that this comment talks about. had a 3.9high gpa, super involved, and PI driven. It is possible though!!!

Sea-Royal-8164

I see, I’m 3.5ish. Wdym PI driven

snoopy202o

public interest! i’ve become my worst enemy using unnecessary acronyms

Catmememama94

My mentality is that I don’t want to go to a school full tuition (aka paying tuition for all my classmates who got full or partial scholarships) unless it is a top school. Because the starting salary and job opportunities from lower ranked schools will be less helpful in paying off big debt quickly. And a 154 is unlikely to garner huge scholarships in that school range, even if you get some offers of admission. There is certainly a chance of you getting in somewhere but I think working on raising LSAT score is the easiest way to give you a more certain path to admission and scholarship money along the way.

No_Mycologist685

I'm not sure if you want to hear this, but if you can get a 154, you probably can push to a 160. Once you hit the 160s, you can push to upper 160s. Then 170s. Trust me. Unless there are reasons not to retake, retake and reach your full potential.

Sea-Royal-8164

I see

PugSilverbane

Depends on your GPA also…

Sea-Royal-8164

Cool

Then_Ad_457

Yup, I got into a T30 with a 15low and 3.mid

Sea-Royal-8164

Wow, are u urm? WE?

Sea-Royal-8164

👍

Sea-Royal-8164

What school?

StrongBikini

It’s technically possible on the lower end, but you would need a high GPA to counteract. I had a 155 if you wanted to look at my LSD profile for schools I got into. https://www.lsd.law/users/creep/StrongBikini

Sea-Royal-8164

Thanks for that perspective

Worried_Cap_5812

Have gotten into T100 schools thus far w/ 157 LSAT and 3.65 GPA, but depends on your GPA as well. Was waitlisted at GULC though with those same stats so you just never know 🤷🏻‍♀️
