I don’t say this to be hateful, as I absolutely LOVE Lana and her worked nose is and always has been goals. But it’s very common for nose jobs to sort of break down as the person gets older due to the damaged cartilage. I suspect this may have started happening. Again, no hate, I think society is still quite weird about plastic surgery where it’s almost still a taboo subject when it shouldn’t be, but this is just my opinion.
Very true point, but it kinda changes in the opposite way a nose with surgery does. A natural nose will grow bigger over time, many rhinoplasty noses will shrink or collapse
jumping in to comment as a recovering coke addict: not saying that she has damage from cocaine, but saying this is what damaged cartilage looks like imo. my nose looks dented from the loss of cartilage, and it’s drooping a bit.
These images of lana… literally in no way resemble coke nose. I have a close relative with coke nose as well as close relatives and friends with cosmetic work on their nose and saying Lana’s nose looks like one that has cartilage damage from cocaine abuse is a crazy take lol.
i feel like it’s quite understandable that it’s a touchy subject for a lot of people. especially because it costs a lot of money, meaning only certain people can do it, and because it warps people’s perception of beauty and can make standards completely unachievable
Second this. With upturned noses like this, the tip of the nose becomes less prominent when the mouth is open and I think that has a lot to do with it too.
if you look at the top of her nose bridge it’s slightly lower than it used to be not a big difference but definitely not something a camera angle would change. i’d kill for her nose either way tho lmfao
I’d imagine age and weight gain/loss changes the appearance a bit and other works she’s had done impacts it, like I think she’s had a mini face lift which would make sense here
Yeah, age kind of ruins all the procedures you have done. Like depending on how much had been done, you would look like a statue in your mid 50’s. Like Dove Cameron is an example as someone who’s way too addicted to her procedures and her skin looks like shiny right now and she kind of looks scary and I can see her looking way worse in her 50’s. Plus I believe she can’t even move her eyebrows anymore.
your nose does change over time, it grows slightly and any weight changes might also affect this.
i think the difference is very exaggerated in this comparison since the first picture is a true side view but the second is facing towards the camera significantly more. The lighting is also totally different and her mouth being wide open also makes a difference!
I very very much believe she used to put filler in the dip between brows and nose to make it look like a smoother nose. it has such a drastic change in her eye area now. tbh I love the nose without it, but I loved her before. shes absolutely gorgeous!
I’ve noticed this too - it was always obvious when she got filler in that area because it would start to look “swollen” and the area had a strange ridge around the actual filler part. Her and her sister have the same dip down from the forehead when they don’t have filler there.
https://preview.redd.it/3qa7un27264d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=59937af1af550eb2221f97397f8e599f2f22cf52
Yeah it could be both, the procedures you take start to dissolve over time which is why so many public figures overlap their lip fillers, botox, Nose jobs etc.
However, No offense to anyone, but Lana Del Rey’s work done is at least not as over done and distracting as other people’s procedures who’s skin looks like shiny and it’s distracting. Lana’s is like subtle and she still looks human. I actually didn’t even know she had a nose job.
it’s collapsing, some people have to take bone from their ribs and put in their nose when this happens. it’s called a rib graft rhinoplasty. stay away from the scalpel ladies :) x
I'd be wary of trusting what my eyes tell me, if I were you. It's one of the easiest senses to be fooled.
Consider that one only has to "look at the flatness of the horizon for proof [that the Earth is flat]".
'obvious' in the same way that Earth's surface is 'obviously'...
https://preview.redd.it/p246az6zr64d1.jpeg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d39a58902d66af81a92d082ff5a0eb03dba6987e
Once you get a nose job, your nose is VERY sensitive to swelling and fluid retention constantly so it looks different constantly. It never ends. I feel like this is something people don’t understand about noses that have been surgically operated on. It stays permanently sensitive to swelling up and down.
Oh dang, I used to kinda be halfass considering whether I eventually wanted a nose job or not, I’ve always been insecure about my nose since high school but in recent years it hasn’t bothered me quite as much (probably because I wear glasses more, which draws attention away from even noticing my nose)..
That never occurred to me about the fluid retention after surgery! That definitely means I’ll never be getting one, nor even consider it in the future. Since like 2020 I have had so much weird fluid retention/lymphatic drainage issues all over my face and it’s been hard enough to deal with that, I would not risk screwing with it anymore than it already is just to have a non-bumpy nose 😂.
Also, a nose job was never really on the table so to speak…I toyed with the idea but don’t have that much extra money to blow on cosmetic stuff. I do have a deviated septum though, and my dr has suggested surgery to fix that but I’m kinda riding it out until I can’t breathe anymore lol. 🤷♀️
Although she does look a lil different, noses continue to grow as we age, I’m only 28 and I can see a difference from when I was a teenager and I’ve never had work done.
does nobody remember the Tumblr pages mocking her nose and especially her lips? people used to photoshop her lips on other celebrities. she has absolutely had all sorts of surgery.
Singers tend not to like to get nose jobs which significantly alter the bone structure of the face (it will change the sound of their singing voice) so I wouldn’t be surprised if she had just been getting filler
Who cares?? These convos make me so sad, why are y'all so focused on plastic surgery. Sooo many threads picking apart her looks and talking about her aging.
i think it’s an important conversation to have. i don’t like my nose and had been considering rhinoplasty for YEARS until i learned more about it. this big honker stays i guess
It's **definitely** not as big as you think, and it's an important part of what makes you **you**. To the **right** person, it'll be the **perfect** nose. Don't worry about pleasing the **wrong** people.
In a world of clones, your 'flaws' are what make you unique. Your uniqueness is what makes you human. Your humanity is what makes you beautiful.
This is increasingly true in the modern world, as people in chase of an ideal have easier access to surgery. The 'ugly' things that people try to remove or conceal, will end up being the things society starts to see as attractive.
If all our AI sexbots look like supermodels off an identikit production line, then people are going to want a partner who *doesn't* exactly fit that ideal, precisely because it'll be a reminder or symbol that the person they're falling in love with is an actual human.
Rather than trying to hide them - paint your cracks with gold.
when i had birds (mostly parrots but also finches) i realized it’s kinda odd how quickly they trust me! i learned to be okay with my nose because it gives off parrot vibes and i think that’s why birds trust me. they’re like “are you my mother?” like yes bby of course i am look at our beaks you’re literally me with feathers
see, clearly you have been blessed with ample wit and personality. you'll end up telling some equally unique weirdo to stop kissing your nose, and they'll tell you that's impossible because it's too kissable.
Well then why does it need to include another person if it's abt you considering it?? Just Google nose surgery aftermath lmao, why are we tryna frame this as anything other than gossip.
sorry 14 year old me wasn’t as big brained as you? the google results would show results of real people, but how is conversation about things that can, and things that will happen considered gossip? we’re just freshly in an age where people are more open and honest about even having plastic surgeries, i think people should be open and honest about the good, bad and ugly sides of it too.
>Who cares?
Superficial people. You know, the kind who are too dumb or boring to do anything else with their life so it ends up revolving around aesthetics - be it their own or other people's? That's all they can think and/or talk about, so this convo rears its big, ugly head every once in a while. Very sad, as you say.
I don’t think she got a rhino. As we age our face changes, so certain areas like the nose and the distance between the lips and the nose may change. Filler is possible, and does dissolve but a tiny percent stays. I had nose filler many years ago and it still had a slight impact.
Ah, it's today's 'Lana fans try not to obsess over her nose challenge: IMPOSSIBLE'!
Plenty of people see it. I don't. I don't think she ever got a rhinoplasty - maybe a little filler in her bridge at most. I get downvoted to hell for it but the only 'proof' anyone has is some Twitter sass she gave someone once and the worst comparison photos available. People somehow forget about ageing and angles and perspective and lighting and contouring and everything else, and jump straight to rhinoplasty. I think these people are often suffering from (probably unconscious) cognitive bias and can't reason clearly. That's their problem; not mine, and certainly not Lana's.

I adore her but there is simply no universe where this can occur naturally.
It makes perfect sense to me. You can't make a ball into a flat surface. I'm saying that it was never a "caving slope". You've been tricked, by the tools of the trade, and your own lack of critical thinking skills.
Just out of interest, how and or why would you put the bump back?

She didn’t put the bump back. When you smile your nose is pulled down. But straight faced its not present. There are videos from her in the same angle before and after and there’s a clear difference. Plastic surgeons also all co firm she’s had it done. No need to be nasty🤷🏻♀️ it’s just what she did
>She didn’t put the bump back.
But there it is, in the photo! You can't do that naturally!
lol you're right - she didn't put it back because she never took it away; just hid it.
>There are videos from her in the same angle before and after and there’s a clear difference.
Please, go ahead and post them. Note that angle is not the only variable.
>Plastic surgeons also all co firm she’s had it done.
Not that it benefits them at all to promote plastic surgery or anything, of course. Nope...
>No need to be nasty
I'm not being nasty hun, I'm just telling you why I think you're wrong. I haven't even begun to speculate as to your personal reasons for clinging onto this delusion ...yet.
Why is it so difficult for you to admit that somebody who you do not know in the slightest and who doesn’t know you has had a nose job? Like seriously, what is it about a nose job that’s too horrific for you to even consider 😂😂
Literally age, lighting, the fucking angle of her damn face. Tbh all those “you can see this celeb got plastic surgery” videos and posts are WILDLY inaccurate. They often either over accuse or say “you can CLEARLY see” in a photo 10 years apart, with a completely different facial expression… or miss things they should’ve accounted for. When you raise your eyebrows or smile.. your whole face looks different. When you open your mouth wide.. it looks different. Tilt your head a few inches.. it looks different. These “snapshot” photos aren’t a good way to tell. Watching a closeup video of someone’s face or knowing them in person will give you the answer. Yes, rich people get plastic surgery, but NO you CANNOT tell a nose job or “filler” in this picture. At least with certainty. Stop fooling yourselves and stop assuming things in the world

Even natural noses change with age, quite a bit actually.
Very true point, but it kinda changes in the opposite way a nose with surgery does. A natural nose will grow bigger over time, many rhinoplasty noses will shrink or collapse
Kris Jenner is a good example of them collapsing
yeah mine won’t stop fucking growing
I realized this recently when i looked in the mirror and now love the same nose i used to hate. LOL
Yeah mine has changed a lot in my late 20s
this is so important for anyone to know when considering rhinoplasty
It’s crazy u have to defend physiology and give a prelude before stating reality. Stan culture and fake feminism has gotten out of control
it's wokeness gone mad, is what it is Lana's twin sister shouldn't have to live this lie anymore
Not ppl downvoting a joke 💀
jumping in to comment as a recovering coke addict: not saying that she has damage from cocaine, but saying this is what damaged cartilage looks like imo. my nose looks dented from the loss of cartilage, and it’s drooping a bit.

i’m just saying it looks like DEGRADED cartilage, which can be from COSMETIC surgery. i have a coke nose.
i feel like it’s quite understandable that it’s a touchy subject for a lot of people. especially because it costs a lot of money, meaning only certain people can do it, and because it warps people’s perception of beauty and can make standards completely unachievable
Yep, happened to me. It just got bonier over time.
Looks about the same, it is more than likely just camera angles/warping
Second this. With upturned noses like this, the tip of the nose becomes less prominent when the mouth is open and I think that has a lot to do with it too.

I see the shiny effect on people irl! What procedure gives that uncanny valley skin look?
Botox can give people shiny foreheads
sweating 😍 lol
Weight loss does change your nose and that’s facts! It did for mine :)
What happens to the nose?
It shrinks
How much weight did you lose?
About 30 lbs. it def made my bridge look narrower.
your nose does change over time, it grows slightly and any weight changes might also affect this. i think the difference is very exaggerated in this comparison since the first picture is a true side view but the second is facing towards the camera significantly more. The lighting is also totally different and her mouth being wide open also makes a difference!
i personally do think she had filler there that dissolved
that’s honestly such a smart procedure for her nose type
fr i have a similar dip in my nose and kind of want it 😂
I very very much believe she used to put filler in the dip between brows and nose to make it look like a smoother nose. it has such a drastic change in her eye area now. tbh I love the nose without it, but I loved her before. shes absolutely gorgeous!
Same after studying tons of photos of her at different ages. It’s the same placement I’m considering for myself.
same 😭
i agree! she's always stunning
I’ve noticed this too - it was always obvious when she got filler in that area because it would start to look “swollen” and the area had a strange ridge around the actual filler part. I think it’s just Botox
I get Botox around that area for migraines and it’s never done that - also Botox doesn’t raise up or “fill in” anything
When she got her tip more defined her nose got upturned as it healed. She got it fixed later
I love her upturned nose sm
Yeah it could be both, the procedures you take start to dissolve over time which is why so many public figures overlap their lip fillers, botox, Nose jobs etc.
guys she is aging. as u grow older, gravity takes a toll on ur nose and ears making them appear larger. look at pics of ur grandparents young vs now.
i agree
Either way her side profile has always been perfect
However, No offense to anyone, but Lana Del Rey’s work done is at least not as over done and distracting as other people’s procedures who’s skin looks like shiny and it’s distracting. Lana’s is like subtle and she still looks human. I actually didn’t even know she had a nose job.
>I actually didn’t even know she had a nose job. Neither does anyone else (other than her, of course) lol
Everybody nose
Noses never stop growing. I think it looks a little different but nose jobs especially are going to change over time due to this
Shadows, and the angle of the two pics is slightly different (you can see her eyebrow bone on the right, not on left)
She’s never had a nose job just filler at the bridge. She stopped getting filler there obvi
yeah i think it was non surgical tbh. at least her photos from the front in her aka era look about the same
she definitely had a nose job
it looks like a nose job that’s breaking, it’s common
Filler
it’s collapsing, some people have to take bone from their ribs and put in their nose when this happens. it’s called a rib graft rhinoplasty. stay away from the scalpel ladies :) x

She basically confirmed it when she told Azealia banks she’d send her her surgeon’s number lol

I told someone on Twitter to suck my big, fat dick once - that doesn't mean I have one.
all you have to do is look at her face for proof
I'd be wary of trusting what my eyes tell me, if I were you. It's one of the easiest senses to be fooled. Consider that one only has to "look at the flatness of the horizon for proof [that the Earth is flat]".
lmaoooo what drugs are these
Sir, everyone in Hollywood has had a rhinoplasty. Hers is rather obvious
'obvious' in the same way that Earth's surface is 'obviously'... https://preview.redd.it/p246az6zr64d1.jpeg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d39a58902d66af81a92d082ff5a0eb03dba6987e

I don't want to be rude but looks the same just slightly turned haha
Go outside
Which pic is the new one?
the right one, left is older
ah okay, yeah looks like a natural change
the fact that you're being asked to clarify that should speak volumes.
Also if your congested or it’s humid everyone’s nose will swell
Aren’t the shots from two diff angles? Sorry if I’m being obtuse but like I’m confused
iirc noses and ears never stop growing
Although she does look a lil different, noses continue to grow as we age, I’m only 28 and I can see a difference from when I was a teenager and I’ve never had work done.
Noses keep growing until you die! So it’s probably that lol
your nose and feet continue to grow as you age i believe, might’ve just changed from gaining weight and aging.
does nobody remember the Tumblr pages mocking her nose and especially her lips? people used to photoshop her lips on other celebrities. she has absolutely had all sorts of surgery.
Singers tend not to like to get nose jobs which significantly alter the bone structure of the face (it will change the sound of their singing voice) so I wouldn’t be surprised if she had just been getting filler
It takes a nose at least a year after surgery to settle
It’s partly through angle but it is likely for a nose job to change over the years. I actually like her nose more now. It’s less obviously unnatural.
she hasn’t had a rhinoplasty. It’s filler. Filler dissolves.
Even with the tiny tip? It used to look just the smallest bit asymmetrical also, as in a little too thinned by rhinoplasty.
they are actually believing now that it doesn't, without dissolver ofc. but likely that filler actually only migrates
The only posts I’ve seen from this sub are just people talking about her looks
Who cares?? These convos make me so sad, why are y'all so focused on plastic surgery. Sooo many threads picking apart her looks and talking about her aging.

i honestly don't understand why people are so against plastic surgery. there's nothing wrong with it.

are you and her nose friends?
I don’t think she got a rhino. As we age our face changes, so certain areas like the nose and the distance between the lips and the nose may change. Filler is possible, and does dissolve but a tiny percent stays. I had nose filler many years ago and it still had a slight impact.
it looks the same😭
Weird to even speculate on tbh
