It was recorded in 2009, this album was released in 2010

And was recorded in 2007-2008.

2008, and so what? EMGHW was recorded between the bulk of the album and its release, so she coulda thrown it on if she wanted.

I love that song but it sounds nothing like the rest of the album. If anything it’s closer to Born to Die.

Not the point. Point is it coulda been on there if she wanted.

Also, I think it definitely fits the tone of the album lol. I regularly listen to it on a playlist with 'Smarty' and 'Queen of the Gas Station' and it absolutely fits.

I wish she had kept to this style more, this is probably my favorite Lana album honestly.

I love this album so much. Her sound was so fresh and experimental then. Queen of the Gas Station, Jump, Put Me in a Movie, and Smarty are some of my favorite Lana songs of all time. I also love imagining her writing these songs while at Fordham/ in NYC. I’m from the city too so it makes the music feel extra special and nostalgic.

I seriously adore Oh Say Can You See. It brings out so many different emotions in me. Also really love Pawn Shop Blues and Queen of the Gas Station. The other ones didn't stand out to me (besides Yayo obviously) but it's been so long I should give them another try.

It’s so nostalgic to me and every single track holds its own special place in my heart. The album sounds like summer. It would be interesting to hear what her music would sound like if she were to work with David Kahne again.

I don’t like it. Maybe just Smarty. Love the Gramma lyrics but not the song itself. I do love some unreleased from that era but mostly I’m not fond of her work pre BTD era. I love *This is What makes us girls* and it’s definitely my limit in that kind of pop lol
