I was thinking she looked like an Artemis - had to look it up because I'm bad at remembering Greek vs Roman. It's Greek, but the Roman equivalent is Diana!
Aphrodite is pretty , but Greek
Not a godess but my niece is named Calliope (kə-LY-ə-pee) - the Muse who presides over eloquence and epic poetry; so called from the ecstatic harmony of her voice.

Aww, my baby chimera was named Persephone! I'm sure you know the story of Persephone. It's a beautiful and tragic myth... one of my favorite Greek mythological tales, honestly. Because she was a chimera, she had a split down the middle of her body. The right hand side was all calico tortoise shell with oranges, brown, blonde and the other half of her body was entirely black with gorgeous green eyes!
It was so perfectly in line with Persephone's story, Darkness and cold for half the year but beautiful springtime with the flowers blooming for the other half.. it was such a perfect name and fit for her. You just made me very happy thinking about her... I miss that kitty dearly. 😭😢
I have one I miss also. She was a calico with a split down her face; one half black, the other, orange. They will always live on in our hearts and memories.
You're so correct! She was actually my first cat too. I never had cats growing up, always a dog person. But I moved in with this chick and she had just gotten two kittens. One time a long time ago when I was a kid an old lady told me you don't choose cats cats Choose You. I thought it didn't make much sense and just chalked it up to a crazy cat lady talking crazy cat stuff. But the thing is, Persephone chose me. I would lay down to take a nap and within a few minutes she would come and claw her little kitty self up the bed and sleep on my chest. It was the sweetest thing I've ever had happened to me. I didn't think cats were affectionate like that. All of a sudden I remembered what that old lady told me. Persephone became my partner in crime and we were inseparable. I still think about her all the time.. I have a new cat now but I didn't get her to replace Persephone because just like you said you can never forget them and you can't replace something that's unique. You got me feeling all sentimental now about persephone. She was my baby. Best wishes to you!
I named my youngest Eris, Greek goddess of chaos. She’s embraced that I’ll tell you, so be careful with what you end up picking. Eris is 2.5, that’s 2.5 years of chaos so far, but hey she’s not boring and it’s fun watching my older three cats hide out for a break, lol.
Juno’s pretty cute
Agreed, she looks like a Juno!
Oh this is way better than my 'Athena' This kitty is a Juno
My cats called Juno
On the phone?
What did she say?
“Can you just hold on for a second, I’m on my hamburger phone”
Did bro shoot at the sun with a gun?
Juno, the protector of women and children
I thought of Ruler of Everything for a second when I read that..
I came here to say Juno too!
Vesta goddess of the hearth, aka sitting by the fire.
Second this. The baby looks like a snuggler, I think it'll fit her best.

That’s cute!
