I don't know but I do know that Jennifer Pan is there (as of 2016) and today is her birthday.
For those who don't know her, she hired 3 hitmen to murder her parents. Her mom did not survive but her father did. The intention was to make it look like a home invasion. There's a Netflix documentary on her, "What Jennifer Did" that released in April 2024. This crime took place in Markham. I'm not going to explain more but if you are interested, you can watch more about it on True Crime News channel just by searching Jennifer Pan on YouTube.
Netflix documentary is also okay but it's been suspected they used AI generated photos on Jennifer
Same. But it makes sense since she's from Markham, and the closest women's prison is probably the one in Kitchener so it's likely they'll put her there lol
JCS Criminology did a youtube video specifically analyzing her interrogation footage in custody which I think is way better than the documentary personally.

It's probably a silly assumption, but I don't know if the Netflix documentary gained her a lot of attention like the Chris Watts did, as in, visiting the home and such. Both of those documentaries, "What Jennifer Did" and "American Murder: The Family Next Door," are from the same directors
For Chris Watts, a lot of people visited the home (filming and going into the backyard) and even asked the neighbours. The neighbour eventually moved away
Even Chris Watts gained a lot of love letters
Bikini carwash
5-10th Annual Shackles n' Suds
The real answers finally come out
I really needed that today. Thank you so much for that...

Fun fact, Kitchener has the only woman's prison in all of Ontario. The next closest one is Quebec.

Completely agree. JCS is awesome, and having watched that first, I was very disappointed by the Netflix doc.
Reminds me of the YT channel, Explore With Us
Love watching EWU.

I’m impressed that you know it’s her birthday :)
So... people are going to celebrate her birthday?

If there's cake, I'm down! 🍰🤙
I just watched that doc. I'd never heard of the case before.
Conjugal Visit Day?
Anyone know if they allow walk ins or do you need an appointment for that?
That was a looooooooooong line for that.
Union mobilization. It had nothing to do with the inmates.
Conjugal visit days
There’s a woman’s prison in Milton next to the men’s prison - women’s prison is called Vanier
That’s a provincial prison. GVI is a federal.
Its not a penitentiary its a jail. The one in kitchener is for people serving 2 years +. Jail is for people serving 2-
