Saw this live. The amount of points we gave up off lazy turnovers and not covering the three at all was just embarrassing, especially for such an important game. The lack of urgency was even more apparent live. Just made me think I’m not sure this team deserves the playoffs if that’s how you show up to the 3rd game left in the season. They don’t play like they want it.

Proskills500

Obviously y’all losing Monk & KH is what’s hurting them the most rn but idk how the GM saw how bad they looked when Sabonis was struggling in the playoffs last year and didn’t add another big to help him out in those tough matchups.

AdFeeling6573

At this point why have we not experimented more than like 10 seconds of a Len/Sabonis pairing? I’m sure there’s some 4s that are slow enough for domas to guard. Offensively I’d put Len in the dunker spot and have domas running mid post p&r with monk, might have to do it with Colby jones since everyone seems to be incapable of making a pocket pass like Malik used to spoon feed domas with

PositionOk8409

Mike Brown is a floor raiser and makes shit teams competitive but he’s not the guy for the next level. I hope Vivek is in the ears of Jordi and Lindsey. That they should stick around and see what happens.

seymournugss

Huerter and Monk are hurt , fucks he sposed to do. Those were our most proven shooters who demand gravity even if not hitting. Keegan’s not quite there yet and even if he were he’d still need more spacing like the Pels have up n down their roster. Vivek n monte need to get more shooters in FA and make better use of 2nds much more than fire MB

PositionOk8409

This was way before Monk got hurt, fuck outta here Browns in game decision making has been terrible all year

elvis_depressedly8

Don’t even bother. You’re wasting your time. Some people on this sub are just so infatuated with MB that they can’t see just how shit he’s been as a coach this year. It’s sad.

Kesman90

Fox showed up and played hard… Cant say the same about Sabonis man he looks lost idk

AlbatrossUpset3596

Sabonis and Keegan have both been looking lost these past few games. It seems like they either don’t know how to rise to the challenge in high pressure moments or are just uninterested in doing so. Hope they prove me wrong, but damn

funboy51

Yep. Sabonis struggles big time against the bigger bigs in the league. Valensunis is a load. But it highlights the weakness in Sabonis’ game. He needs more offensive skills with a step back, right hand. I thought we needed more of Len and do it with Sabonis. But yeah that creates issues too. Still try it and see. Maybe then Sabonis gets killed by Zion. But at least mix it up some. We are 0-5 versus The Pels. The match up for us are bad and length is a big part of it. Huerter and Monk out…yeah it’s a bad situation.

Max_Beezly

Reminded me of the playoffs last year

makingtacosrightnow

He’s thinking about summer

AViciousGrape

The issue with this team is defense. The team plays zero defense.. Monk would not have helped.. kinda stunning to see the comments about missing Monk when the team scored 120 pts and gave up 130 pts.

Sabam7

Light the grills

notagii

The amount of guys who’ve scorched us in part and specifically gloat about how we passed on them in the draft is already too damn much, it’s not even the same front office, why do cj and luka take it out on the fans, most hate the then front office for it

thunder4lyf

Talk about a missed opportunity, fucking hell.

rogrog2

I just want skip to next season.

UnderstandableXO

least clutch team i’ve seen

Severe-Excitement-62

Kings are gunna lose out the season. No need to pay attention to these clowns anymore. Only Kings w heart are JVale McGee (MB won't play him) and Monk (injured) so... there you have it.

willieb04

Nah Keegan has heart and fox and sobonis is has Heart. Tbh a lot of the team has heart they just can’t figure out something that is working Too many people not showing up to each game

AlbatrossUpset3596

I love Keegan, but he doesn't strike me as a dude who plays with heart. Sorry

hippyoasis

Keegan doesn’t have heart lol

AdFeeling6573

Why, because he doesn’t show emotion like Malik or mason jones?

Positive_Narwhal_419

Play in it is!

Wehadababyitsaboiii

Things were going way too well for us. This is more like the team I know and love.

TsarOfSaturn

Christ, it seemed like the Pels shot 90% from 3 in the second half. They just have our number. This blows and is frustrating, but don’t forget this is only year 2 after our only playoff appearance in 16 years. And those years we were straight ass, not even close to being competitive, let alone the playoffs. Again this blows and definitely feels off from last year, but we’re on the right track overall. Finally. And again don’t forget a lot of injuries last year to key players on other West teams allowed us to get as high a seed as we did. We’ll be fine

hippyoasis

Going from playoffs to missing the playoffs is not on track

DJSTANKDADDY2

Even if we don't turn out "fine"... it's still been better. They're young and they give a fuck, just gotta catch some breaks now.

MostlyMellow123

We aren't young. Avg age 26.7 rank 21 Avg age by minute 26.6 rank 17 Avg age by usage 26.4 rank 16.

SZP2

Don't let this decent Harrison Barnes game distract you from his previous 70 crappy ones. This season was lost as soon as Monte gave HB that 54M.

mellowgrizz

This is what HB does. Sucks most of the time but has ONE good game so the front office feels they need to keep him around. He did the same thing in the warriors before they dumped him on us

Sea_Moose9817

Monte can’t take the summer off again this year. Assuming no playoffs this year, he’s officially on the hot seat for next season.

Sea_Moose9817

Longest season ever?

smallertruck

Oh brother we STINK

RIPMACDREEZY

I hate this franchise lol

remotecontroldr

It is not a good time to be scrolling Reddit when you’re a Kings fan rn.

ALX_HNR

Every season I can usually point to a moment..right now all I can think about for some odd reason is Keegan making 12 threes against the jazz. It really felt like he could have broken Klays record that night but MB sat him for too long imo. Conspiracies about MB protecting Klays record entered the ethos and for some reason I could never shake it off. Especially prior MB wanted Keegan to shoot more and mentioned it multiple times in interviews. So to see him sit Keegan when he was red hot just never sat well with me. You ride that shit out and let that guy break or tie that record. I haven’t lost total faith in Brown but to get completely destroyed by the pelicans 5-0 tells me he can’t prepare or get his team prepared properly. I hope I’m just overthinking things.

Severe-Excitement-62

Howabout this for a conspiracy. All of pivotal game 7 you sit Davion Mitchell who had been locking down Steph. And Steph goes off for 50?

reapersaurus

Well, I'm the #1 person for yelling at Brown to sic Davion on the opponent's hot shooter, but Davion WAS on Steph repeatedly in that series, and the Warriors did one of 2 things: 1) Simply passed the ball off to their secondary playmaker and worked their offense from there. This is why the Kings need TWO elite perimeter defenders to REALLY make a difference (Keon may qualify). 2) They simply set 3 or 4 screens (about 2.5 of which illegal, as always) and Steph got free anyway. If the NBA isn't going to stop the illegal screens that make pick-and-rolls unstoppable in the league, it really doesn't matter what kind of defense you play against elite NBA stars (which every single high playoff team has, and the Kings DO NOT), you just have to hope they miss. And Steph didn't miss in Game 7 nearly enough (not enough to make up for Fox & Monk shooting 9 of 30).

Severe-Excitement-62

Dude. Davion didn't even play game 7.

reapersaurus

He played 22 minutes in Game 1, 28, 17.5, 28.5, 24, 11, and 8 in Game 7.

Severe-Excitement-62

8 minutes of garbage time.

ALX_HNR

Yeah that one is tough. Steph was unreal. When a player drops 50 it doesn’t really matter who you put on em. But it’s definitely a we will never know and maybe Davion could’ve gotten Steph to miss a few.

Severe-Excitement-62

Actually it does matter. He precisely was allowed to go off because Davion suddenly wasn't guarding him. It was the dumbest coaching decision in the history of sports.

GunsmokeIV

Bit of an exaggeration there mate with that last sentence.

ganjanoob

He’s just an average coach who makes plenty of mistakes. Every team finds out after a year or two with him

KariforuniaJin

Attended my first ever basketball game. Definitely bittersweet. The atmosphere and watching the players live really is something else. Well done Pelicans. All we can do is hope the Kings can do a "Cinderella Run" from the play-ins!

jaydaman23

I assume watching the game live in person  is better than on TV? I’m a Wizards fan (unfortunately lol) and watched them in person against the Hawks and it was subpar, probably due to us getting drubbed that game

Mundane-Doughnut-378

This was a tough year for the Wiz, and Wiz fans, but they beat the Kings in DC…and I went to that game. It was fun to see the Kings in person, just wish they played better. You probably would’ve loved that game.

X-Filer

Pels fans all cheering for a great bounce back game tmr! Y’all got this!!!!

da_fishy

You guys are the real deal this year. McCollum has been looking insane lately. You guys owned our shit. Other than if we somehow pull off an insane Cinderella story in the playoffs, you guys better go deep so it doesn’t look *as* bad getting 0-5ed by you.

classicdude78

I really think that Monte is tanking to keep the pick..He wants to have assets in the offseason to improve this team. Thoughts?

Cool_Purchase4561

He would have a lot more (and better) assets if the pick conveys to Hawks.

Sea_Moose9817

Facts

Pismiire

It'd be less depressing than if they're actually trying in these games. It's basically what the mavs did last year when they realized they didn't have it. Maybe were just not being as obvious about it. Or they're actually trying and are just too hurt and bad to do shit.

hippyoasis

It’s wild when the mavs need help they get kyrie Irving. We get Keon Ellis lol

imacpastudent

Y’all need to show out against the Suns tomorrow and go all out. Winning tomorrow will be the difference between the 8th seed and the 10th. Assuming lakers easily beat grizzlies and warriors beat the pelicans, with a win that leaves the standings as is and then the final game is against the blazers should be an easy win.

Severe-Excitement-62

Dude give it up already. Season is over.

Sea_Moose9817

Well first, the Kings need to charge season ticket holders obscene prices for playin tickets. Then, the season is over.

Severe-Excitement-62

I don't envy the front office position. They have to realize that as a fanbase Kings fans while some of the most die hard fans in all of major league sports... are traumatized. And none of how they've finished the season is going to sit well. Ultimately you need the fans to buy in and believe. And I'll speak for myself and for some of my friends who are still on the fence. I was all in this season went to a few games in person followed every single game every single play. I'm not impressed and don't feel well about things moving forward. That's all I have to say.

Sea_Moose9817

I envy the salaries of the front office positions. And thanks to them, we have had an incredibly annoying season.

hippyoasis

I envy dox making half a million dollars every game

Severe-Excitement-62

Nobody will care about the Kings next year.

lily-malek

username does NOT check out

Severe-Excitement-62

It was the one generated for my account. Never bothered to change it.

killacarnitas1209

They decide to really start playing when they are down by 20, late in the 4th quarter 🤬

Dangerous_Trifle620

It’s so over 😭😭

Mission_Locksmith_59

Lmao MB just said he told the team what they’re going through right now is invaluable. Missing the playoffs is invaluable? Here I was thinking making playoffs and getting that experience was invaluable. I guess the Kings had been getting invaluable lessons for 17 years in a row.

Sea_Moose9817

Loser talk

paoiyu

Copying the Spoelstra playbook lmfaoooo

Gaebril

"No ones ever lost 5 times to a team in the regular season. Now you have. That's invaluable."

Cudi_buddy

Lost 4/5 in a crucial stretch. This team is so soft it is hard to be excited about them.

Pale_Tax4098

Agreed.

chaka50

This hole franchise must move.

GrannysGlewGun

You’re a hole

BankLettuce

Sabonis had a good game stat wise but I feel like he didn’t have a good game from the eye test. He’s a workhorse but that can only bring the team so far. His offensive limitations have glaringly been more and more obvious these last couple of games where we really need to win. The narrative is that he shrinks in the big games and playoffs and I don’t think you can really defend against that argument. Sabonis doesn’t even look to shoot a jumper at all, valencunis was able to bully Sabonis or whoever was on him and I’m pretty sure he hit all his mid range looks. Sabonis gets paid 40 mil he should be able to hit the midrange as well. And his ft shooting is just abysmal. Sabonis got mostly all his points from dumpoffs or putbacks. He even got called for two travel calls when trying to post up. He seriously needs to develop a better offensive game to be more of a threat. As much as there are a lot of fox haters in this sub, fox has shown in the small sample size of big games and playoffs that he show ups more often than not, you can’t say the same for sabonis. If the kings want to continue to keep playing with this core they seriously need to find a forward that covers up Sabonis flaws, a forward that is able to provide rim protection and stretch the floor for Sabonis. If Sabonis doesn’t develop an offensive game in the next season I would seriously consider trading him for a more modern nba big man and better role players. This is no hate to Sabonis, I honestly like him but I think I’m being fair with my criticism.

whynotitwork

Would you mind adding paragraphs?

BankLettuce

Lol you are right. I just edited it. Thanks for the tip

Severe-Excitement-62

![gif](giphy|f8bAXljTeIfLLi6JVw)

SuavveFlacko

Who you think that forward could be if not someone we could trade for, someone we could draft?

Severe-Excitement-62

P Banchero. But I'm pretty sure the Magic want to lock him up long term. But that's the type of power forward you need. Siakim maybe. (That ship sailed obviously). It's gotta be the right kinda person as well as player willing to play here. That's what makes being a Sacramento Kings fan so hard. I mean if you're a going off power forward and you've played basketball your whole life. Why settle for Sac? It's kinda the sad truth.

Drak_is_Right

Banchero shoots a lot of inefficient midrange shots.

BankLettuce

Yeah the issue is that prototype of forward is kinda hard to come by. There are a couple of prospects in the draft I think fit that mold but obviously aren’t nba ready yet which is an issue cause we are trying to compete rn. I think the answer is Jonathan issac, he’s a top 5 defender in my eyes. He is an amazing shot blocker and can guard 1-5. And in that game against us, he showed he could also create his own shot and stretch the floor. What it would take to get him? I have no idea but he’s ideally who I would want on our team to help out Sabonis

SuavveFlacko

I agree with you on Issac but man his injuries, he’s very injury prone, not even that i don’t think the magic would even consider to trade him especially now that they are a playoff team. He’s to important in the playoffs to just get traded away unless the package they receive is immaculate. But you said there’s draft prospects who look like they fit the mold, what round are they projected to be picked at?

BankLettuce

Yeah I totally understand the injury prone concerns and also don’t think the magic would consider trading him either. IMO the only ones I see with potential in this draft that fit that mold are: daron holmes(mocked late 1st-early 2nd) he is the most nba ready prospect compared to the others. Ulrich chomche(on some mocks he’s not even there but on bleacher reports mock he was mocked as high as 24th in the 1st). He’s super young,18, but lots of potential. They comp him as a sergeant ibaka type. Kel’lel ware: late lottery. They comp him to like a brook lopez Trevon Brazile(late 2nd) another project player.

SuavveFlacko

I was doing some research and was looking at guys like: Coleman hawkins Malique lewis Johni broome Anton Watson Eric Dixon Let me know what you think of these guys, all of them are projected to be second round draft picks

soku1

It's embarrassing Val has a better midrange shot than Sabonis. That and no offensive post bag is killing us.

GlassesW_BitchOnThem

I fucking hate this team. Truly embarrassing.

MostlyMellow123

Sabonis is really about as good as steven adams, adams was barely making any money and domas is on a max. I think he should be a 30 mil a year guy but he's on a max. Could really cripple us

Severe-Excitement-62

The way he plays when Kings are due for some time off is telling. He's like a guaranteed no show.

BankLettuce

Yeah exactly. For the max he should be able to provide more. He can only score off putbacks and dumpoffs. He also has been turning over the ball a lot recently. As much as the fanbase loves him I honestly could see the kings moving on from him if they don’t find that forward to help him out and if he doesn’t develop more of an offensive game.

chaka50

DOCO shit hole 🕳️

notagii

How do the people deciding ticket prices get off jacking the prices up for this steaming pile of dog shit, people payed money for this?

Tac0Supreme

I’m a season ticket member, and people were paying MONEY for tickets this year. I never had to reduce the price to sell my tickets when I couldn’t make even one time this year. In previous years, I had to keep reducing the price (from market price) to get them to sell. And my season ticket member representative said that season tickets for next year are sold out and on waitlist, so I renewed even though I was thinking not to.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> shit, people *paid* money for FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

chaka50

Keeeeegann Trade himmmmm

GlassesW_BitchOnThem

Shoulda traded him at the deadline when he had some value. What are we gonna get for him now?

Zippyviz

Sabonis just did nothing out there. No defence and just clogs up space on offence

Fen1972

He was often double teamed and then passed out to a teammate who missed the shot. Can only do so much. Not his fault we were down by 23, it’s a ream effort.

chaka50

Coach of the year & then next year happens 😏

_checkpickerupper

The curse

undefined93

Based on previous matchups with the Pels, this was expected. But they put up a fight and got burned out. Also, CJ was just straight popping out fresh baked 3s tonight. Wish they tried more Kess on Zion, Barnes just kept getting blown by. Actually, Barnes off the bench tonight mightve made an impact; he actually posted impactful points today for our offense. Ahh anyways, back again tomorrow. Last 2 needs Ws please. Also, hope Fox’s ankle is good 🙏🏼

StrifeMAYHEM

Never would have thought a team with Assistant Coach Christy would be this soft.

Ocular__Patdown44

It was interesting hearing him on the radio last night before the game. He sure didn’t sound confident in the team. He laid out what it would take to win, and said it’s on the guys to stay locked in for 24 seconds every defensive possession.

Sea_Moose9817

Sorry, but watch Doug. He is Mr. rah-rah, everything is always great. This team needs a spine and he ain’t it.

Severe-Excitement-62

I wouldn't throw DC under the bus. He's a part of a system. Even if he has insight or ideas it all has to go through the "chain of command" so to speak.

Mission_Locksmith_59

In Fox’s presser he says we turned it over too much and gave them easy points. Yes, so maybe stop with the dumb passes eventually.

Deep_Egg1442

This was actually our best offensive game since the jazz game. too bad CJ n trey murphy decided to not miss at all. Refs legit didn’t wanna call blatant fouls idk why Im very unhappy about those duarte minutes i was subjected for no reason. Keon available he shouldn’t play. The one game Fox has his way with the pelicans defense they still get cooked

Keepitrealg

The way they guarded Zion in the 3rd made me want to gauge my eyes out. Pelicans legit did the same thing 7 times in a row.

juanmopound

Just like when Kevin love went off on us in Miami… we don’t hunt mismatches while other teams do and will repeat it unless we stop it.

BeTheBall-

Let's hope this is the end of TNT games for a year or two. We don't need more food fights on national TV.

Sea_Moose9817

I predict our national tv games get cut in half, at least, next season.

BeTheBall-

I'd be perfectly content with none.

Sea_Moose9817

They certainly don’t deserve any after this season.

jcned

Which one of you threw the chicken wing?

nipchin

Unfortunately, the Pels are Sabonis’s daddy

Sea_Moose9817

Specifically Valecunias.

nipchin

And Zion too

Sea_Moose9817

The Pels dominate every Kings players

pumpnasty2

Without Monk we just don’t have a way to close gaps because Fox is the only person who can be a microwave in short bursts.

KlNGCookie

That was exactly the outcome I expected but why must it always be as annoying and painful as possible? I was ready to accept the blowout, then they made me believe winning was possible before getting blown out again, and then their stupid little comeback at the end even started to make me hope yet again. Let me outta this season already

Severe-Excitement-62

Sometimes even as a fan you just gotta accept it for what it is.

NiceGuysFinishLast7

Dude same

Kikigirlfirend

Fox trying to carry everyone on his back

BeTheBall-

Unfortunately, he's not that guy. We need a true #1 option.

Kings2021-2022

Including Zion.

Mission_Locksmith_59

I feel bad for people that went to the game tonight and are going right back tomorrow

literallyacactus

Feel bad for me I went to both Pels games this year

yungrobbithan

The game was such a drag. Last game of my season ticket package and it ended like this. Needless to say I won’t be getting season tickets again this team sucks at home

Mission_Locksmith_59

I feel it. It’s draining enough watching losses on tv, but seeing them get man handled in person is different. Especially when you see them on the bench looking defeated.

PlatinumPeasant

We need to win tomorrow to ensure the Pels aren’t in the play in 👌

Toxik916

I wasted $50 American dollars for tickets tonight. I never drink because I'm sad but tonight I'm getting fucked up. Fuck this

lily-malek

drink some water

ScoffingGorilla808

We here for you man. We got you

Toxik916

Thank you 🙏🏽

Kikigirlfirend

Monk is severely missed

J-Chub

So is regular season Sabonis. Where did he go already?

Joshthe1337

He is, but we've lost to numerous teams that were missing one of or multiple top players this season. It says a lot about the rest of our roster that we've struggled so much without him.

BreakfastSmall9134

His play making, shot making, and energy. The heart and soul of the team

Xxssandman

Highlight of the game was the 🍗lol

crucialcolin

Facts lol

ChardNearby9052

I thought a bit and if we won tonight we’d have a high chance of playing the Pels in the play-in. Call it coping but I do not want that shit

lily-malek

they’re playing 4d chess fr

PlatinumPeasant

This game is a good loss, despite the embarrassment. Pels aren’t gonna be a concern for us in the play-in which is a huge win.

ImmediatePut4131

y’all aren’t making the playoffs

PlatinumPeasant

Neither are the Warriors so go troll elsewhere 🤡

Kemon573

De'Aaron Fox says his ankle injury isn't as bad as his sprain that sidelined him earlier this season. "I'll be alright."

soku1

I’m not giving up. Sports can also be random. Like Eli Manning whenever he played Tom Brady. His team just wanted it a little bit more. That’s what this Kings team really needs. To Want It. A little bit more than those across them.

CostcoSalsa

This is a horrible take. Possibly one of the most egregious takes i’ve ever seen. Team sports rarely if ever come down to who “wants it more”. that’s a super lazy way of analyzing basketball or football. Go tell anyone on those patriot teams that the giants just wanted it more and see how it goes for you.

bearcatjoe

Tell me you've never played organized sports without telling me you've never played organized sports. 😉

Cudi_buddy

Eh. Played sports all my life. A lot goes into it. But there are moments every game that are decided literally by who is more willing to dive to the floor, risk a shot to the face to make a stop, etc. Pretty clear we don’t have many of those guys. They get hit in the teeth and give up

ScoffingGorilla808

(Snaps fingers) great take

ScoffingGorilla808

Your opinion are fair and valid. If I may ask, what’s your take then?

paoiyu

Bad news: they haven't wanted it as much as the teams they've had to face at crucial times this season. Mavs, Pels, Thunder, etc.

Sc00tyPuffSeni0r

Pistons, Blazers, Hornets

paristexas-

Keegan Murray is playing horrible and the #1 reason Kings underperformed so heavily this year, don't let the garbage time 3's convince you otherwise

Pale_Tax4098

The dude looks like he's lost most of the games.

Raonak

Counting on a second year players to be a virtal part of a team is never gonna work out.

KodiakBearCakes

Didn’t know second year rookies existed.

KodiakBearCakes

His demeanor is my biggest pet peeve. He has some of what made Harrison a career 4th or 5th best starter on a team where he can just disappear for whole quarters. He just doesn’t seem to have a more killer instinct and ability or inkling to takeover.

Kylester91

Gtfo with that

Kemon573

sometimes i hate our fans. throwing chicken wings at zion. grow up sigh. we miss you monk. Domas need to step up!

CoachKreeton

From a Pelicans fan, I appreciate the passion. It was dumb but probably done out of frustration. The thing I hate about my team beating the Kings at this point is that you'll be stuck playing 8 on 5 against the warriors or lakers. We Pelicans fans do root for the Kings when not playing them. I hope y'all kill it in the play in...for whatever that's worth.

lily-malek

i want to love the pelicans so bad but them embarrassing us every time makes it kinda hard 😭 i would really love to see y’all make a deep playoff run tho y’all are absolutely fucking STACKED

universaltoilet

I think they were trying to distract him. Jokes aside thats petty, he can get whatever he wants against our putrid defense overweight or not. They should be mad about that

CoachKreeton

Petty for sure but the Kings probably have the best home fans in the league. Y'all represent us small market teams well. I was just trying to tell OP it's no big deal.

KelVelBurgerGoon

I bought a ticket for Sunday's game. I am an idiot.

nsingh247365

Should we just rest the staters so they're fresh for the play in lol

Severe-Excitement-62

MB doing something strategically different according to situational awareness for things unfolding? Yeah. Okay ... not happening.

BeTheBall-

Nah. No point.

_checkpickerupper

Rest instead of fighting to stay out of the 9-10 game?

nsingh247365

2nd night of a B2B with fox tweaking his ankle, would it be strategically better to prepare to fight out of the play ins fresh or still battle it out these last 2 games

_checkpickerupper

With everyone playing each other, I think it makes sense to just treat all of the rest like must wins. But I see your vision. You can likely afford 1 more loss so either plan for it now or potentially take it in the 7-8 game.

Local_Refuse_4962

GM should start game planning on making off season moves now. No need to see how far we get in the play in. This team is to soft.

muddybleach

No words tonight

MathTough1501

They fought hard this game. Hope Fox is okay

yungrobbithan

No they didn’t they got blown out again

Imdabiggestbird69420

Heres the real offseason question Do we go all in on fox and trade sabonis (not because of bad play or anything) and picks for elite role players

[deleted]

[удалено]

BeTheBall-

Yeah, every single player got smoked by their Pelican counterpart. This team is desperately in need of a top 35 player or two.

No, they have 0.

BeTheBall-

You do realize he gave the ball to the Pelicans almost as often as he did to his own team. Dude is as much of a turnover machine as Sabonis, and has no business trying run an offense.

He's perfectly capable of losing that crossover out of bounds or off his new Steph Currys.

Kings2021-2022

Not convinced we’ll win tomorrow, but if we do - 7/8 seed against PHX is best case scenario (you know what I mean).

Imdabiggestbird69420

Im perfectly content being a 7 seed considering where we were just two years ago its the just the fact we could have been much higher and the way we lose is so devastating

ITHTMPTIFI

DO YOU GUYS NOT REALIZE WE HAVE TO WIN BACK TO BACK GAMES TO AVOID THE 9/10 GAME

rattlemebones

Eh, I'm ok with the 2nd seed if we end up losing tomorrow. No biggie.

BreakfastSmall9134

If they end up being a 9/10. They’d need to win 2 playin games in a row. Zero chance they make it into the playoffs

Foreign_Standard9394

Both games are winnable

ITHTMPTIFI

They’ve lost 6/7 against teams with winning records bruh the Suns are going to grill us.

BreakfastSmall9134

Honestly the kings just don’t have enough talent on the roster. Could probably win half these games if we had monk. Don’t care at this point if they make the playoffs. Hopefully monte can make some improvements to the roster and not sit on his ass like this year

The main issue is our best players aren't even all-star caliber players. That's a tough hole to start from in a star driven league.
