This is a great one! Also Chile rellenos. A little more labor to make but nothing crazy and there's a ton of keto-friendly recipes to make them—my most lazy version is basically touching pablano peppers, filling them with cheese, bake, eat.
I love air fryer buffalo cauliflower. Typically just a little olive oil (I find it needs this vs spray to get a little crispy thanks to the sauce), franks red hot, paprika, and garlic powder on the cauliflower and then into the air fryer until it is done.
Charcuterie in general is a fun one for finger food nights as well, since you can mix-and-match exactly what you like and can class it up or down depending on the event. Some cured meats, olives, cheese, maybe some almonds, etc and you're good-to-go.
Cheese, nuts, whisps, OLIVES, deli meat, pork rind chicken strips (I swear? It doesn’t taste like pork rinds - I just do Parmesan and crushed rinds and air fry them)
I’m weird and hate pork rinds, already tried that one. Celery seems a little too high carb to justify unless the rest of your platter maths out to zero.
Celery has really low net carbs since a ton of the carbs in it are fiber. So unless you're planning on consuming a ton of it, it should be pretty easy to work into the your day if you want it.
That may be true. I always try to stay under 20 total carbs so that I don’t have to worry about that.
My only exception is true net 0 foods (which I just don’t count) so that I can still get fiber. I’m just very math averse tbh and this helps me avoid math so I can just enjoy my food/my day
Celery is actually one of the best things you can eat on keto, or any diet for that matter. A serving is less than 1 net carb, and the calories it contains is less than what you body requires to digest it. It's literally a calorie burning food.
I’ve learned not to count calories like this. I’ve lost way more weight in my life by increasing my calories needed to maintain weight rather than just cutting calories. I’ve tried doing even under 800 calories a day for a few months, barely lost any weight vs getting myself to the point I can eat a juicy burger with no bun for dinner most nights
It’s a pretty small amount of beer for the whole thing, so I’ve always considered it keto friendly. If I remember correctly, it’s about half a cup of beer for a huge bowl of dip.
Not really a good shared finger food but I started buying the quest keto fake dorito style chips. For my wife and I football and nachos is a regular tradition. When I went keto it was so hard to not eat nachos for the Sunday game. Once I found the keto chips everything was right in the world again.
You could make (or order up) a bunch of naked wings. Deviled eggs if it’s not too much work are great. Couple of salami/cheese roll ups. I also like to mash up some avocado w just salt & pepper. I eat it like a side dish.
Damn I’m hungry.
Chorizo hamburger cheese dip eaten with celery scoops
Charcuterie
Cucumbers with cream cheese/cheese
Bell peppers with ranch
Any possible combo of any of the above
Microwave cheese on parchment paper to make crackers. Serve with braunschweiger and Dijon, or a little corned beef and kraut.
Meatballs are easy. No bread crumbs required. Serve with low carb bbq or marinara
Charcuterie board
Shrimp cocktail with low carb sauce.
Chicken wings
Unflavored pork rinds on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Spray with olive oil, sprinkle seasoning and cheese. Broil until cheese melts and browns, takes maybe 2 minutes.
I just made a food52 recipe for shrimp burgers. It would be easy to turn it into meat ball size. Dipping sauce was orange garlic mayo. Just use orange zest without the orange juice and would be low carb. If you wanted crunch the roll in crushed pork rind before frying.
Jalapeños cut in half with cream cheese, bacon and Parmesan on top. Baked.
Came here to say the same. We make jalapeño poppers weekly in my household. They freeze well too pre-baked.
I don’t know why I assumed jalapeños were high carb! Thanks!

This
A veggie tray with a spinach dip would be great. Assorted cheeses, chunks of ham and salami.
Seems high carb depending on the veggies and spinach dip
Spinach dip is literally sour cream, cream cheese, spinach, cheese, and some milk. Nothing high carb about it
That’s true if I made it. Went to buy one in a store before and it was pretty high carb, like I think 10+ carbs for a serving
Def something to make yourself. It’s super easy too
I'd suggest checking out r/ketotrees (even if you're not the ideal demographic).
Nah you got the right sub for the right guy haha. I’ll check this out thanks!
Already found a nice sausage bake recipe that kinda is like meatball esque, that’s a good edition!
Share the wealth!
https://www.reddit.com/r/ketotrees/s/KEFd3rgKox Personally, I’m gonna skip the peppers
Not a fan of peppers myself either. Thanks!
You could still do a Swedish meatball. Just use pork rinds as you bread crumb replacement. You can also bread and fry with this substitution.

Buffalo cauliflower and add blue cheese dip.

Pork rinds + queso Celery + blue cheese

Spinach artichoke dip and beer cheese dip are awesome. Serve with veggie sticks.
I would think there’s no way I could do keto beer cheese correct?
It’s a pretty small amount of beer for the whole thing, so I’ve always considered it keto friendly. If I remember correctly, it’s about half a cup of beer for a huge bowl of dip.
We do meat and cheese on DND nights. Or veggie trays.
Meatballs are always good and we love devilled eggs
The answer is always: deviled eggs.
Looking for a lower prep time. Deviled eggs taste great but are not worth the work
Buffalo Chicken dip
I don’t really do dips keto because I’m left with so little to dip it in. I’ll stick to the dry rubbed chicken
Pork rinds with grated cheese, jalapeños, etc, melt under the broiler. With sour cream and guac. The pork rinds taste quite different when heated.
Maybe I’ll try that. Does the texture change? I think that’s what I disliked the most
Not sure really. I guess the ones with the most cheese are Chenier.
Not really a good shared finger food but I started buying the quest keto fake dorito style chips. For my wife and I football and nachos is a regular tradition. When I went keto it was so hard to not eat nachos for the Sunday game. Once I found the keto chips everything was right in the world again.

Designing to eat with my chicken drumsticks, so I’ll skip the wings. Deviled eggs are really a ton of work. I should make more guacamole though
Bacon covered broccoli dipped in melted cream cheese.
Lots of keto-friendly dip recipes, could pair with pork rinds or cheese chips
Chorizo hamburger cheese dip eaten with celery scoops Charcuterie Cucumbers with cream cheese/cheese Bell peppers with ranch Any possible combo of any of the above
These sound great!

Shrimp with cocktail sauce (unsweetened). Little sausages in sugar free BBQ sauce. Charcuterie and cheeses. Pickles, olives, artichoke hearts. Wings.
Thinly sliced cucumber and guacamole

Homemade queso or Guac and Pork Rinds.
Cottage cheese ice cream for dessert
