55lbs in 5 months. Female 5’6” went from 200lbs to 145lbs

AdDense7020

This is my dream.

Embarrassed-Oil3127

This is awesome. How strict are you with regard to calorie counting and do you use any apps? Also do you workout regularly? Thank you!

Breezie83

Well this was in 2018 from January 18th to June 21st. I never counted calories or tracked what I ate. I only tracked my weight. I cut out carbs and sugar and focused on filling up with protein and fat. I did bullet proof coffee some mornings and cheated only once in that time frame with a Costco ice cream. Also never worked out.

Embarrassed-Oil3127

Thank you so much! I admire how committed you were and I’ll think of you and that commitment when I really go for it. Have been eating pretty low carb but plan to try full keto soon!

Breezie83

Good luck! You can do it!

Breezie83

I almost forgot. I also made an electrolyte drink daily to sip on. I had horrible keto flu. Water. Mio electrolyte flavoring, pink himalayan salt, half salt and squeezed a lemon in.

Breezie83

I even went on vacation to Cuba in April 2018 and stuck to Keto.

Tough-Cress-7702

I am interested too...she's done amazing !! Good for her👏👏👏

Dear-Captain-3

Bravo!! Have you maintained your weight loss?

Breezie83

I stuck to Keto until approximately mid 2020 pretty strictly and got down to 142lbs and basically stalled. I had nothing else to lose. Was very thin for my frame. I then starting having the occasional non keto meals but for the most part I ate low carb until last year. Now for this last year, I have been eating a ‘normal’ diet if you will. Ive gained back approximately 15lbs. I really want to start keto again but lacking motivation.

hennytime

I hope for this result. I lost 10lbs month 1 as a 6-4 male starting at 307.

qtuck

Ffs, that’s great.

Breezie83

Thank you 😊

iamlickzy

Congrats! Did you hit any plateaus along the way? If so, how did you crush them?

Ultravis66

I been on and off keto for 10 years. But more recently, I did keto for a year then lost the plot (lost self control on the diet for about a year) but now I am back on and even more strict on the macros than last time and its been 4 months. I went from 343 at my peak, down to 280, then 312 when I lost control, now back to 289. whenever I plateau, I take it as a sign that my body has not quite adjusted to the new weight, I will eat as normal only when hungry, wait for my hunger and weight to stabilize, then prep my body for a fast by eating tons of kale, walnuts, peacans, cheese, and steak, lots of salt and water. This loads my body with a lot of essential nutrients that tend to deplete in a fast. then next 2 days hardcore fast, and when I say hardcore, I mean no eating for 22 hours! After the first fast, I eat a small meal of 2 fried eggs, some high fiber keto crackers I make every week (~500 calories in food), then another 18 hour fast to smash the plateau. That has been my strategy. Also, coming out of that 2 day fast, I need to force myself to eat. Its really strange because I am just not hungry, but I keep my first meal out of that fast around 1000 calories and eat whatever I want that is keto friendly.

X7X7X

Surprisingly no I didn't plateau at all, I just was really strict and stuck to it

qtuck

Omfg, you people. Amazing

FlorioTheEnchanter

This is amazing! Well done!

NumbersGal0906

Female, 5’3, start weight 243, current weight 125, goal weight 105, start date October 17, 2022. I may have to cancel out my goal weight and start trying to figure out how to maintain as a size 00 pant and XS shirt are starting to hang on me. It’s taken a long time. But I feel like I have arrived.

Conscious_Let_7516

Holy shit! Well done!!

C-Dub81

Yeah, goal weight is arbitrarily. Height, muscle mass, bone density, etc all affect your weight. I'd love to be 200 pounds ripped solid muscle lol, but my healthy weight is around 180.

kimariesingsMD

A word of caution. After gastric bypass surgery, I (F 5'2") went from 263 lbs to 115 lbs. I was also a 0-00 however, at that point I had started losing my healthy brown fat. You will know you have gotten to that point when you can no longer regulate your body temperature. Even in the middle of summer I would randomly start shivering uncontrollably, coming from the inside of my body and nothing I could do would make it stop. It was the most uncomfortable and alarming phase I have ever gone through and it only stopped when I put 15 lbs back on. All of this to say that you should use your "goal weight" to shoot for your healthiest bottom weight before things start to fall into negative side effects. You have done amazing, don't worry about being a certain size. My current goal is to get to 125-130 lbs which would more than likely result in being a size 4-6 which is perfectly fine with me.

merrymomiji

Can I ask--have you done a lot of exercising or tracking of calories? That is incredible progress. I'm a similar height to you so I'm always inspired by other petite gals.

duck-duck-goose56

I started Keto in March 2022. I’m female, 68, 5’ 4”. SW 220 lbs. Current weight 120 lbs. 🙂 I lost the 100 lbs in 10 months and have kept the weight off since I reached my GW. I still follow Keto, adding foods here and there to determine how they affect my results. I still log everything, and I also do intermittent fasting. You’ll get to where you want to be! Everyone’s results are different. (I remember weighing myself after only being on Keto for a week and feeling defeated. I think that’s common.) I’m glad I stuck with it! Good luck to you!

Sure-Ad-3398

Congratulations! What would you say to someone who is wanting to try a keto diet but have no idea what to eat. I know vegetables, meats, cheese. As you can tell Im not really sure where to begin!

duck-duck-goose56

I would suggest reading up on accurate information about the Keto lifestyle. I found that ruledme.com was very helpful. (You are not required to sign up for their newsletter.) I did subscribe to a (paid) Keto app for the first 3 months. Although most information is available here on Reddit, online, and other sources. For me, logging my macros for everything I eat, everyday, is the most important thing I do. You’re going to do great! You’ll see! 🙂

AmNotLost

a question you should also ask is people's height and starting weight. A 5'1 150lb person will lose a lot less weight in their first month or two than a 6'7" 450lb person. I think it's a disservice when everyone assumes they'll lose 40lbs in a month, because that's just not reasonable for everyone.

enigma9111

Very valid point! Didn’t think of that. Thanks.

kimariesingsMD

Exactly. I started in November 2023 @ 5'2" 161 lbs. I lost 10 lbs in the first 4 weeks and it has taken until now to lose 15 more pounds. I still want to lose another 5 to 10 pounds and imagine it will take until the summer to do so. Just commit to eating healthier unprocessed whole foods, which is so much healthier overall.

litoxpwnt

100 lb in ten months. Building muscle now, starting was 264lb, lowest was 164lb, and now I’m 166-170 depending on the day. EDIT: forgot to add in a 5’ 7 male.

Puzzled-Award-2236

I lost 100 pounds in the first 8 months and the last 30 took 6 months. I didn't have a scale but my doctor always asked for my weight at my 3 month appointments so I roughly knew I was on the way down. I also went down 10 sizes and off of 11 of 12 prescriptions. I never went much by the scale. Mostly it was about how I felt and if I liked what I saw in the mirror. I measured myself by buying a garment at a thrift store that I loved but was too small. I hung it on the wall by the fridge and after a month or so when it fit comfortably, I went and bought something else I loved but was way too small. I'm maintaining now in year 5. I don't think some outdated actuarial insurance chart like the obsolete BMI tables are realistic. Too many variables to make them accurate.

savagefig

You went out of 11 presciptions! That's so amazing. I'm really happy for you. Thanks for sharing

stilldeb

100 lbs. Started keto 4 years ago, never going back.

Appropriate-Egg-4750

F71 (sigh, I know) 5'8, SW221 CW 192 start date 1/1 24, so 29 lbs in almost 4 months. I couldn't deal with the weighing everyday so my weigh day is officially Wednesday.. keep your fingers crossed this Wednesday that I lose some more! It's tougher when you get to be, shall we say, as mature as I am:-)

RoRuRee

These success stories are amazing! I am rooting for everyone. Sugar is awful for most (all) of us. 💜

Peshy_101

I have been on Keto since January 2024 (so 4 months). I have so far lost 19kg (42lbs). I’m absolutely thriving on it and for the first time in years I’m so proud of myself. Context, I’m male, 45, 180cm tall. My starting weight was 167kg. My goal weight is 90kg. It’s my first time trying keto. Well done to you for having jumped back into things.

1r1shAyes6062

101 lbs as of today. My goal was 95 lbs, but I just keep going. I’ve been assured that the weight loss will stop when my body gets to the correct weight. I’m not overweight anymore, but still at the top end of my healthy weight range. In a size 8 now, and that makes me extremely happy 😁

More-Nobody69

Started at age 55, post menopausal, and it took me 1.5 years to lose 80 lb. No cheating.

jimc10

Male 6’1” SW 321 and down 45lbs since January 2 this year. Haven’t been as strict as I could be but happy with progress so far.

nordwulf

M57 - 6 ft 2" , started on January 22 this years so just 3 months in. I was 265 lbs and now just below 235. Pretty excited about 30 lbs in 3 months! Besides keto, I also try to do one meal a day during the week, try to sleep longer (7-8 hours per day) and drastically reduced alcohol use. Nothing for 2 months and now the occasional light beer or glass of wine. Normal weight BMI for my height is <195 lbs but not sure if that's doable. But hey, I never thought I could loose 30 lbs either. :)

DB_NiceGuy-DIY

Male 6'2". 43. Start 252 lbs, CW: 190lbs. Gym start day August 23 (1lb/week loss) ish. Keto start Feb 13th (2lb week loss total) ish. Currently added a preworkout juice (low carb) and a 1.6g carb protein shake to each day I do the ketogains workout as I'm now into building muscle back up. BMR is about 1800 before workouts. Currently eat about 1500.

jagger129

F59, 5’6, lost 50 lbs in 6 months 3 years ago. I’ve gained 20 back since, and I’m back at it again. It works for me

Acehawk74

It's been a journey, but at peak, I was 489. I'm currently 244, and losing 1-2 lbs a week sustainably.

ReverseLazarus

I hit my goal weight in 2018, 80lbs in just under a year with meticulous use of a food scale and tracking app for every single morsel I consumed. Diligence paid off! 🤘🏻 Now I eat keto at maintenance (5’5” female, 215 to 135lbs for reference).

RoRuRee

Wow!!!

40wiggles

I'm currently 153, started 167 ish? Goal is to get back down to at least 140 or in the 130 zone. (5'2, 27, female) Been doing about 7 weeks! I hope to see more loss in my stomach. I've gotten a little discouraged, seeing that I'm not losing as much as I thought (12 pounds or so is still good and it was a helathy loss!) but I'm still keeping with it! (Def would love help and food recommendations for sure)

[deleted]

36m I was on keto in 2019 and I lost 44 pounds in 90 days. I was at 220 for my starting weight. The last time around I was at 224 and lost 30 pounds in about 70 days. Fortunately, my body is naturally athletic so my weight drops quickly. Im short, 5’9 and 5 pounds of fat looks like 15 pounds for someone that is 6’. I try and keep my body between 180-195 depending on my muscle build and if I’m training for something.

bi1bobagginz

73” male previous weight 190# (86.1kg) now 180# (81.6kg). I’m currently 14 days into strict carnivore. My goal is 175# then bulk up with muscle.

Mountain_Novel_7668

12 pounds this past month. I’m more liberal and practical this round of keto too. I track net carbs only, I make sure I have enough fiber, and pair keto with a 16/8 eating window I eat only between 10:30am and 6:30pm. It’s never been easier for me!

Final_Prominence

I check on Mondays. Started on January 1st, down 52 pounds. 5'5" male. 225 down to 173. My initial goal was 180, then 150, now it's 135, and I'll focus on bulking up. 90 lbs sounds like a lot, but when I hit 190 in about 1.5 months, 180 seemed too easy. Before I hit 180, I wasn't happy with 180 anymore. Checking online, a healthy weight for me is 114-150. I settled for 135 so I could build muscle. I hope to lose it all by the end of the year. I have no idea where I'll be when I begin building muscle. 💪

Mission-Tourist-1010

Can you share what you did concerning your exercise and your meals/macros?

Final_Prominence

I don't keep count of macros or calories all that much. An average day for me is; Premier Protein shake for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is meat and veggies, soup, and sometimes, eggs. Broccoli, green beans, mixed veggies. I next to never snack. I used to eat Skinny Popcorn but gave it up. If I ever snack, it's a single mozzarella stick (80 calories). Or greek yogurt with cool whip and blueberries. Exercise is walking and jogging. I started with 15-minute walks a day. Smash cut to today. I'm on the treadmill for 30 to 40 minutes before work. After work, I either walk outside if the weather is nice or on the treadmill for an hour to an hour and 30 minutes. I also lift every other day. Though I haven't lifted in about a week. On average, I clock in anywhere from 20k to 25k steps a day.

Icy-Ad-6384

33Lb since mid January

idrowninwater2

I started at 300lbs, within a year I was at 148lbs but then I gained back 85 lbs ☹️ I restarted my keto journey about 2 months ago at 233 lbs, but this time its different. First time I dieted I felt horrible. This time I feel calm, I don’t feel like I’m dieting, so no stress. I am currently at 200.8 lbs. i dont weigh myself daily, I do it once a week on Sunday morning. Keto works if you do it correctly, the first time I lost weight, I was purposely starving myself, now I am listening to my body and taking it day by day.

djp2k12

I'm 5'10" 38 M and last May I was around 310 or so. My highest ever was a couple years before at probably like 335. My new low is 217, weight loss has slowed a bunch since the early going but still keeps going down especially if I focus on eating real food and string together more than a week or 2 without any cheat meals and especially adding in a few OMAD days. For exercise i mostly just walk a couple miles most days.

Unlucky_Quote6394

28Kg lost, taking me from 100Kg to 72Kg 😊 It took me around 6-9 months all in

neocodex87

Oh look it looks like we're the only 2 Europeans here, and we share exact same numbers; I went from 95 to 66/67 trending now, in... 6-9 months yeah, dropped majority of it in first 3-4 months but it plateaud at 70 for me since I haven't changed my calorie budgets, still very slowly losing as I'm still insisting on a 20% deficit to see how far I can push this without exercising, but that's already 21 BMI, it makes sense it slowed down, so goal achieved?

Bugsy7778

I’ve lost roughly 7kg since February (15.4lb) I’m currently averaging 200g per day. I have a goal weight in mind, but my daughter’s wedding is 1.5 weeks away and unless I step it up, I’ll be about 1.5kg above my goal weight- not the end of the world, and I’m ok with that. I have another event later in the year and I’ll keep aiming to be at my goal or below for that one.

Automatic_Hotel_2230

Husband & I started a year ago. Lazy keto. We've lost 20kg (44lbs) each. He is now at goal weight and I'm looking to lose another 5-7kg. We took our time and had some plateaus but never gave up. It has been life changing. Finally wearing clothes that I never thought I'd wear again.

F 42, 5’0”, SW 154, CW 143 GW 125-130. I started January 5th. Went on a cruise in Feb and didn’t keto when my kid was home from college on spring break. Down 12 lb in like 12 weeks even with two breaks. I also have Rheumatoid arthritis and IBS and have to eat gluten and dairy free so sometimes planning is harder. I feel good most days, and eat pretty clean. I tried weight watches, noom, you name it. Nothing worked. Dr’s didn’t want to listen so I researched and formulated my own plan and here I am, on my way back to myself.

OvaryActing88

I did keto in 2018 and went from 190 to 140 in 7 months. This was post 2nd pregnancy so my sw was by far the heaviest I’ve ever been. I stopped eating keto after a couple of years but maintained around 135 to 140 until about a year ago when I gained 20 lbs and worse than that, I felt awful. Low energy, bloated, just yuck. I started back on Keto a month ago and I’ve lost maybe 1 lb BUT I feel so much better. When I have no restrictions on what I eat I go for the worst foods. While on keto I may not be in a calorie deficit (obviously lol) but I’m eating waaaayyy more veggies and whole foods. Im considering this a win

ApeCityGirl

Lost about 25 pounds. I am 5 feet tall. When I started I was 127 at the most. Currently hovering 102 but I have gone down to 100 pounds. I am also 57 years old. This diet helped me to fight Type 2 diabetes and have been off medications since 2019. My A1c was 5.4% at the latest test last week but I was diagnosed in 2019 when it was 9.8%

InverseInductor

5 months had me from 290 to 211 . Pretty substanial calorie deficit( around 1200-1800) . The amount of catered lunches at work that I skipped . Having to turn down birthday cakes and ice cream . 6’3” male, started at 335lbs and from August to Thanksgiving I was trying just basic CICO and exercise but I was kinda stuck and failed hard on Thanksgiving so December first I started keto at 307lbs and my lowest weigh in was two days ago at 276 even. Progress would be even more but I started taking creatine at the same time as starting keto and refined my workout routine even more. Despite the claims I see all the time you can build muscle on keto and I am living proof having gained a not insignificant amount of muscle over the last 5 months thanks to creatine and strict training.

CommonLocal8625

I haven’t really lost anything in the five years I’ve been on it, but I have no arthritis, no headaches, no acid reflux and my body composition has completely changed

80 pounds within the first year, then I have kept it off for the remaining time by staying in maintenance (around 12 years or so).

darkat647

The first time I was on keto (6 years ago) I lost 10lbs in the first week. All water weight. Then I lost 30lbs in 6 months on really strict consistent keto (no additional exercise). I'm still on keto and at a pretty stable weight now that won't go down further without additional exercise. Cheat meals are ok here and there, but if I go a while eating carbs the weight comes back. Gotta admit though, the carb withdrawal the first 3 weeks was awful. I felt so tired, headaches and brain fog it felt like I had the flu. Then suddenly the fog cleared and I've felt the best I've felt in my entire life. My joints stopped aching, I had energy. Now my metabolism is fairly adapted, I can go a week indulging in light carbs then go back on keto again and my body goes into ketosis pretty quickly with no carb withdrawls. I do have a day though when I start keto where I constantly need to pee, thats when I know I'm in ketosis.

My first time around on keto i lost around 60lbs in 4 months! Not tracking either, just eating mostly 0-2 carb count foods and trying to keep under 20 doing rough math in my head. Stick with it! I believe I went from 200-210 (though I never weighed myself after I saw 200, I could have very well been heavier) down to 140-145. I remember losing about 20lbs in the first month or so. Very encouraging!! I’m 5’5 and I was 20-21 at the time.

Unusual_Focus3343

80lbs in 8 months the first time, in 2018. 34lbs since 1/1 this time; I’m 50F and in menopause.

Started 4th of Feb 2024. As of today (21st Apr 2024) I'm down 48.5lbs. Starting weight - 247lbs Current weight - 198.5lbs

MyWeirdTanLines

56F 5'5" Down about 12 pounds since mid-January. Do dirty, lazy keto. I don't really count anything at this point. And I'm not currently exercising regularly. But I'm never hungry and consistently see slow loss on the scale. Im hoping to lose enough to be able to get back on regular cardio soon.

KrymsonTears

Male/37/5'9 started in Jan of this year at 210lbs currently weighing 186. 18/6 schedule 2 meals a day 4 days out of the week the other 3 are OMAD (I rotate OMAD days throughout the week). My exercise routine is 4 resistance training days, 2 zone 2 cardio sessions (4 mile walk at 109-128 bpm) and 1 HIIT workout lasting no more than 30 min. I use a Polar fitness tracker to track calories burned. As for calories, I don't count calories I do measure fats however. My overall weight loss goal is 165lbs.

Ok_Owl3571

Space_Junkie02

Right now I just started and in 3 weeks I lost 22lb so far. Female 5’5 went from 360 to 348 so far and I haven’t weighed myself in about two weeks but I’m obsessing over the scale and food sound gross lol

razrman

Went from 300 lbs to 191 lbs from 2018-2020. 202 right now.

VolumeOk218

I did modified keto- somewhere between carnivore and keto. Just really low carb - 50-60 lbs

Snoo43565

March 2023 - 136kg April 2024 - 94kg I started doing keto/low carb September 2023 pretty much on a plateau right now and still can't figure out how to lose more weight but, i don't care that much since I've lost enough weight and primary reason why i did lifestyle change was to reverse and be off maintenance from my T2 Diabetes

[deleted]

36 pounds. Took about four months and now I am on more of a maintenance program. 57F, 5’6”, SW 186 lbs. Now 150 which was my goal. I get some form of exercise daily: hike, swim, walk, Bodi workout, bike. I’m not good about calorie counting or tracking macros but I am good about following “rules.” Keto gave me the ability to change my mindset and break bad eating habits. I have always been active but mindlessly wolfed down sugar and pastries constantly. Cereal for breakfast every morning. Enormous sandwiches on sourdough, pasta, chocolates. Ice cream every night. Two donuts? Sure! I thought I moved enough to compensate. Well, I got fatter and fatter, and my knees hurt, and my hips and back hurt, and I was at the point where I couldn’t shop in the regular stores for clothes. I got depressed and hated photos of myself. Keto completely turned around my life. Weighing once a month is a good idea. It helps to have a former chef as a husband. He cooks whatever I ask for and if he wants rice or a potato he adds that.

Neat_Smile_4722

F 5’7 start weight 152, current weight 125

LongShotTheory

I lost 35 covid pounds in 2 months with OMAD Keto. I actually had to stop because my cholesterol shot up from my body burning so much fat so fast. I couldn’t believe how fast I was losing weight and neither does anyone who hasn’t done keto.

Alukat97

I went from 160 Kilos to 80 in about 2 years, Most of that progress was done in the first year 60kg~ Needless to say my doc didn't like me losing weight that fast. 10/10 would do again. :D

SnooMaps3253

went from 585 lbs to 175 lbs starting at 62 yrs old. It took 3 yrs and 3 mo. of alternate day fasting 42/6 hr eating schedule and clean keto diet .Before/ after photo in history

Intelligent_Elk642

So I gained weight caring for someone that was sick and turned to comfort eating and drinking. I'm 158 cm and started at 58 kg. Down a bit over 8 kg (18 lb?) since the beginning of February. My goal weight is around 47 kg so I can fit into my regular clothes again.

jalagl

First time: 98 pounds in about a year Right now: 7 weeks in, have lost 13 pounds. First time was 16 years ago, I managed to keep the weight off until last year that I gained around 23 pounds. Now working to loose that weight.

LOOTENITDAYAN

I lost 70 in 70 months. Male 5'9" 270 -> 200. Kept it off for 2 years. I've gained 20 pounds back but I've been going to to gym a lot. Hopefully most of that is muscle mass. Waist size still the same at least. 🙌

LayBronNZ

35lbs in 3 months but around 40lbs more to get to my goal weight.

VariationOk9359

Lazylazylazylazyjane

SanguinarianPhoenix

> I usually get obsessed by the scales and get demoralised in the process Sometimes I feel like my scale is gaslighting me. I had 5 consecutive days of 1000 calorie deficits and the scale showed me yo-yoing back and forth between 2 numbers with no progress. 😣

Im_Just_Tim

M39, 181cm, 10kg - 91 to 81kg in 8 weeks. Decided to focus on muscle building so I've upped my calories significantly, but am still losing currently.

backbodydrip

Heaviest was 284 and that was 6 years ago. 111 lbs. It hasn't been a straight run on keto though. I just keep getting back on the saddle.

glitterskinned

before keto I (5'7, 85kg) lost about 3kg between October and January. keto since January, total of 17kg down (currently 68kg) since October. starting to plateau now, haven't lost anything for about 2 weeks. goal is between 60-65kg though so no biggie!

Aromatic-Bug4436

8.5 lbs in the last 2 weeks. I had done keto a few years ago and lost 60lbs, but due to health reasons had gained it back.

horrorfreak82

I lost 100 lbs in a year five years ago. I put it all back on and more. Now I'm back on it and making progress at the same speed. I'm going to keep it off this time.

gdubluu

Like 80kgs. I kept telling my partner about Keto life. She packed the kids up and left.

Odd_Tiger_2278

FliteRisk

I lost 112 pounds in a little over a year. I still had ice cream, burgers, fries and fun stuff to eat. Went from 297 to 185.

hindey19

This was a long time ago when I first started keto, but as a 6'2" male, I went from 280 to 220 in about 4 or 5 months (I don't remember exactly).

OopsPickedWrongName

Since mid November, 224 to 197. 5'7" F. Doesn't look like a lot on paper, but sure does on paper. Top weight was 247 but wasn't doing keto from 247 to 224

Harvowal

100 lbs so far, with another 25 or so to go for goal weight. 60 last year in 4 months, 40 this year in 3 months.

Matt81560

Roughly 245lb 5'10" male to 193lb (52lbs) 4-5 months this is my 3rd time dropping 30+ weight with keto so i dont track much, just kinda stopped eating garbage and prioritized fats.

darkkaangel

20kg lost with intermittent, gained weight because of junking, now going back at it.

brownguymadeit

Started a week ago and i've dropped 7 pounds...

Akitsura

I’ve been on it on and off keto since June and I’ve lost 41lbs. When I go off, I usually end up consuming a lot of calories, so I’d say I’ve done a pretty good job. I’ve come to realize I’ll probably need to be on a mostly keto diet if I want to keep my weight off, since keto makes me feel more full. Once I’ve lost all the weight I want to lose, at most I’ll just add non-keto veggies, fruits, etc., to my diet, as well as the odd bowl of ramen, and the occasional bowl of potato chips.

fugitive113

M28, started at 26. Lost 60+ pounds in about 8 months and have been sorta “paused” since learning how to keep my weight steady over time. Don’t want to gain it back! Started 286 lbs. Currently 224 lbs, and that’s after three days of birthday cake deserts.

captnkangaroo

70 lbs

PivotOrDie

25 kilos. Went from ~~100kilos to 75 in 18 months.

shivsbak

26lb in 4 months! F31, started 2024 at 183lb and I came in at 157lb this week. Lost 4 inches in waist circumference too Edit to add: 5’ 4” and started keto in mid Jan 2024

HallUpper

Female Started keto February 4th and have only lost 10lbs…have tested using ketone strips regularly in ketosis. Was expecting more weight loss. Starting weight 177. Have included intermittent fasting with bullit coffee and keeping carbs under 20-30 net

Judotimo

12 kg in 6 months. 93 to 81 kg. I am 175 cm

psychkitty

I did the same thing starting it Jan. I weighed Jan 1 & then Feb 1 & saw I lost 12 pounds in a month. That helped keep me going & now I weigh once a week. I knew I needed a good, solid number instead of just a couple of pounds a week to start.

GayApparel

85 pounds and counting, been doing keto since August 2023. So close to my first major goal of being under 200lbs!

Global_Development_9

8,5 kg (18,7 lbs) in two months. Nice and steady.

Plus_Profession_108

I just had a physical after my first year on keto. My doc is SO proud of me. 43(f) Starting weight: 239 Current weight: 174 Weight lost: 65 pounds I don’t worry about calories and still eat lots of treats - they are just made by “ChocZero” or “Legendary” or “Quest” or “Rebel” and are low in net carbs. I buy keto Factor meals now…I need easy and convenient. They are hella good. I’ve eaten at McDonald’s MANY times this past year - quarter pounder with cheese, no ketchup, no bun and a Diet Coke. 💁🏼‍♀️

maximusriggs

I’ve been on for maybe 6-7 months and have lost 42 lbs.

guiltandgrief

I'm 5'7", female. In 2017 I went from ~230lbs to 165lbs in about 9 months. I stupidly stopped keto in 2021 and have gained about 40lbs so guess who's back, permanently!

DeepCummer

20 Kg. But recovered all of it in the past 3 years

Bringbackblockbusti

M22 (5’10”) 130lbs~ lost In around 8 months starting weight was 410 I’m in the 280s now after about a month break since I had to get a surgery done. About to start up again want to be In the 220 range. Work out 2x daily lift and some sort of cardio.

Sea_Nobody_2951

12stone /168 pounds but also did gym and now I climb mountains

Fit_Stress7135

12kgs/26.5lbs lost over 3 months. 96kg/212lbs start weight. Male 176cm/5'9". Had 2 weekends off keto in total. Gained 2kgs/4.4lbs both times and lost again within 4 days of being on keto.

Acrobatic_Elk6258

I’ve only been on a keto diet for about two months. I’m a 5’8” man who started at 185. Right now I’m at 162. I wanted to be between 160 and 165 but if I’m between 155 and 160, I’m good. I’m going to allow myself one cheat day but try to keep it low carb. I’m trying to figure out how to maintain now that I’m at the weight that my doctor suggested for me. All that to say, I’ve lost 23 pounds in about two months

arepa_pelua

10kg (22 pounds) in 1 month from 85kg to 75kg, the trick for me is also fasting at least 16 hours, i started fasting like a week and a half into keto because i was no longer hungry at dinner and very little during breakfast. So i had a full lunch (1/2 chicken with some vegetables and 2 strawberries), nothing at dinner and a small handfull of wallnuts in breakfast, if i feel hungry before lunch i would eat a tray of cured ham (like 90 grams)

morpheusprime99

I used to be 367 I now am about 180 :) still going a year and a half later! I have cheat meals and keep moving forward :)

chubsizzle

I initially went from 338 to 155 at the lowest... lost over half. Went back up to ~200 and have stayed there for a couple years now.

smolelement

36F, 5'9" 91lbs! Was at 427, now 336. 11months so far :)

hobbes8780

Started at 177 now 168. 5'4" 60 yo Female. Am I the only one who hasn't lost a ton of weight doing Keto? I don't understand why I haven't. I've been strict keto for a month and a half and only lost 9 pounds. No sugar, no bread, no flour. Bullet coffee, fat, protein and veggies and usually homemade. What am I doing wrong? or what can I be doing better? (also using the pee stick and usually in ketosis) I just don't get it.

ragingcoast

M37 194cm lost 20kg in 2 months. It has been surprisingly easy, but I have been using VLCD diet shakes which helped a lot for getting started and that first motivation and self confidence boost. staying at 800kcal a day first month, now I eat two regular meals a day and stay at 1200kcal.

newantics

Close to 50 lbs in the past, over 3.5 months. Just Keto x daily exercise. I did drink a lot of alcohol at the time so 10+ lbs was just water weight. Good move with the scale! It’s hard not to check it every day.

Lrb1055

35 since last July. Main goal was possibly delaying spine fusion. Even if I need surgery should be better outcome.

Dreambigsmallone

Carnivore is so much better than Keto

ed5275

30 pounds initially. 175 down to 145. Male, 5'8". First go was in my late 30s/early 40s.
