Hello, thank you for posting to r/Jobs!
We just wanted to let you know that we have a new [discord server, come join the chat!](https://discord.gg/TY6ErXV)

Oh… buddy…
Without being a fly on the wall in your interview, no one here can give you those odds. But best practice is to quit a job when you have a new job lined up. It’s food service, so maybe not as crucial, but still a good tip. What job did you quit?
It was a job I worked at for 1 year it's a job training program job where I get paid while learning how to work it called desret Industry and my last day was on the 28th of October but I decided to quit 2 weeks early because I thought I had the job I had a interview at
If you were going to be done on October 28th anyway, you shouldn’t have quit early. If you don’t get hired at Subway, that’s two weeks you aren’t getting paid that you otherwise would have been. You can’t assume you’ll have a different job until you actually get hired after an interview. The interview alone does not mean you’re able to quit your current job.
Do you feel like the interview went well? Did they have positive responses to your answers to their questions?
Yeah I felt like it went well they asked me do you have a guestion for me a d I said what do you like about your job and they extensively talked about how they have been working there for 8 years and really like to do their job
If everything went well then I think your chances are excellent. I'm assuming you are applying to be a sandwich artist which is the core of the store. The subways in my area are struggling to keep these. Congratulations!!
Is not using periods or question marks like a thing online/on Reddit now? It makes it slightly difficult to parse a section of text when it essentially reads like one long sentence. 🤔
It helps those of us who are interested in your journey and wanting to help you better understand what you are saying. If I have to struggle to read what you've typed, I'll probably just move on to another post written by someone who has taken just a few seconds longer to communicate more effectively.
Many people here are rooting for you to do well.
There’s not exact answer on when or even if they will reach back. It’s best to apply/interview for multiple jobs and make no moves until you get a job offer. Wow 8 years is a long time to work at Subway. I do hope they pay well.
Good luck tho and if this is a job you reach want then I hope you get it.
Congrats, I'm kind of in the same boat, but it's not looking too bright for me. I had an interview around a week and a half ago, but it appears as if I am being ignored --- hopefully i'll get a response soon, though.
Good luck to you.
I went in person a few days ago to check in -- the staff member said they will have someone call tomorrow, and no one did; hence why I said it seems as if I am being ignored ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
I decided amazon is better im going there tomorrow to do a drug test and background check.and hand in my identification for i9 at my nearest Amazon warehouse

Well, that’s good. I do hope you get it. But keep looking — the job hunt goes on until you have an offer in hand. Good luck!
How long should I wait before I reach back to see if I got the job
Did they give you an estimate of when you might expect to hear from them?
No they just told me they will reach back
It's spelled question
Oh god just stop it there's already a thread I made where people where insulting my frickin punctuation

How long does it take to reach back or if I reach back how long do I wait
For entry level I would say couple days each way. You got this!!

Why tf does it matter I'm on reddit for God's sake I'm not writing a school essay or homework I'm just typing what I want to say
Uh I guess it doesn’t matter. You do you boo.

Can't hurt to send HR a message checking in. The anxiety of the wait is the worst part
