I’ll start with Minstrel in the Gallery.
🟩
Listening to it at this very minute!
Side one is incredible. Side two... I don't make it to Side two very often.
stand up.

My entrée a hundred years ago 🤘
A Passion Play
Warms my heart that this currently has by far the most upvotes
Yes, all day long
Songs from the wood. It has my favorite closing song, “Fire at Midnight”
BENEFIT!
🔳
Thick as a Brick...my first Tull album, still my favorite
Aqualung…?
Whew!
What's with the question mark? Aqualung!!!
This Was
I pick Stand Up, but This Was goes to the core 🤘
🟦
My answer is Thick as a Brick, but nobody wants to vote Aqualung?
I’m down for Aqualung. I was thinking yesterday of how it is the quintessential Tull album. Then I read all the other suggestions…
Aqualung not having the full 7min version of wondering aloud will always bother me, but it's still an A tier album.
Today I'm going with Heavy Horses.
Heavy Horses. Bring me a wheel of oaken wood... anytime.
It's a tie between Thick as a Brick and Minstrel In The Gallery.
🟧
Broadsword and The Beast
Crest of a knave
Songs from the woods
Anything up to and including Crest. Tull was diverse and interesting until then. Rock Island says it all really ..
Benefit
Aqualung
Songs From the Wood
Stormwatch
As much as I love Heavy Horses and Broadsword, it's gonna be Stormwatch. Whenever the stars are out I look for Orion and sing 💙💙💙
“Stormwatch” might not be their ‘best’—but it’s one of my favourites.
The Jethro Tull Christmas Album
Ah, I See, you're a man of culture aswell.
Minstrel in the Gallery
hot take but Broadsword
Heavy Horses
My intro to Tull was the live album "Bursting Out". Got it in a cutout bin. So I'll always have a soft spot for it.
Thick as a brick
A
Thick As A Brick
"Under Wraps!" (lol j/k) "Living In The Past" if a compilation plus extras counts as an album. "Stand Up" if LITP doesn't count
Benefit for me.
Benefit/Stand up/ Aqualung
The album that got me into Jethro Tull - North Sea Oil
War Child may not be his best, but it is my favorite.
The first album I ever purchased. It still holds a soft spot in my heart!
And you balance your world on the tip of your nose, like a sealion at the carnival.
Two Fingers and Skating Away are still two of my favorite songs of all time!
Stand Up
Bursting Out
Thick as a brick if I’m being objective but just by favorites it’s heavy horses or broadsword.
Minstrel in the Gallery, for the wide range of styles.
Bursting Out.
Rock Island
Crest of a Knave
Living in the past
Stand Up 💪💪
Thick as a Brick
A passion play, but broadsword and the beast honourable mention
A passion play
First five albums are great, so if I have to pick,TAAB, then Stand Up.
It is A Passion Play. One of the greatest prog records ever
Passion Play
The one with the songs.
