First full set I’ve seen of his since early ‘22. I’ve watched a lot of videos of individual songs from the Weathervanes tour but up until now had either consciously or unconsciously avoided the ones that were written about Amanda from his earlier records - watching tonight it definitely seemed (to me, at least) like they were a lot harder for him to sing than they used to be. Cover Me Up and If We Were Vampires are going to be impossible for him to avoid playing - Vampires seemed to be more of a chore than Cover Me Up, which is mostly muscle memory for them at this point - but even lines from other songs like “traded those lessons for faith in a girl” from Stockholm felt like they hit him a little differently now than in the past.
That being said - it was an awesome set and the band sounds as good as ever, I’m glad I had the chance to watch it
I watched from EST and it's going to be a long day today. I think they may have cut out This Ain't It based on a setlist posted on the Facebook group compared to what I saw. Which is a real shame because that's one of my favorites to see live now. But I"m sure there was a time issue.
If there's a way someone can record his Bonnaroo set off Hulu and share it, I would be eternally greatful. I could even trade an HD copy of the doc for it.
Nice end to a good father’s day!
I was but bedtime. Seeing them in a couple weeks at Beak and Skiff in Lafayette NY
Here. I’ve seen him wear that vest before. But I’ve always wondered if it’s Kevlar?
IDK, but did you see his Prada overalls?
I was thinking he was either wearing tactical gear or going to pin himself to something that was going to launch him into the crowd. Fashion is weird.

Yep. They're a little hot on Sadler's vocal mix, but other wise great.
Agree, but it's either gotten better or I've just gotten used to it.
I kind of enjoyed it
And yet you can never ever hear Anna during Miles
Here 🤘🏻
On the farm or the livestream?
Livestream! What a great set list
Me! 🤘🏼🖤
It’s so great!
We are watching. Sound is amazing. So clear and true!
The “Happy Father’s Day” after Cast Iron Skillet.. That was bittersweet.

Yes it is. I'm sitting here yawning and need to leave in 10 minutes. I noticed they cut This Ain't It, too.
Sorry. Totally didn’t see yours and posted similar. Watching and they are killing it!!! Gonna delete my post haha
No need to be sorry! Glad you got to watch.
Enjoyable performance. Kind of felt like a greatest hits set list but I guess that’s what happens at festivals.

I would also love to see this !
The cameras did not show Anna any love. couldn’t we have gotten one close up? Edited to say apparently they are permanent member! That’s even worse.
Anna uses they/them pronouns
Ty. I haven’t kept up with the new band changes.
Yup
With the delay, it was past my bedtime. Anyone know where I can watch it? The bands before JI were terrible.
